Caught a cold

              With the speed Savarus use to kill one of their members, all of them immediately began shaking with fear and were on alert mode, the only thing making them still standing and not running away was their size in number.

'It's seven to one, we definitely have an upper hand in this case, he can't possibly fight all of us at once'.

"Well I can see you guys has made up your mind, in one way I really feel bad about killing all of you, but again you guys deserve to be killed" said Savarus.

It didn't even take up to a minute, Savarus has already killed all of them and was walking back to pick up Bethany.

"I don't know if my eyes was playing trick on me or not, but I couldn't see anything, I didn't even see how you killed them, are you really a human" said Bethany while shivering with cold.

"Look at the state you are in because you didn't listen to me, let's go home so that you can get warm" Savarus picked her up from the ground and walk out of the alleyway.

"You always like diverting the question any time I asked if you are a human".

"I can tell you aren't really feeling well right now".

They continue moving forward while throwing some little conversation, the night was so cold that Bethany was badly shivering even with the jacket around her.

'If she continues being in this state, it might affect her health in one way or another, should I raise the temperature of my body to give her comfort, but she might suspect me' Savarus was thinking on what to do, after some while he has finally come to a decision 'In this kind of situation i don't have to care if she suspect me, I just have to make sure she is okay' Savarus started moving his energy pool in his body to produce heat, after some while Bethany was no longer feeling cold but warm.

"What happening, your body is burning up, are you Okay?" asked Bethany

"Don't worry, I'm fine".

"I don't need anyone to tell me, because I know I have weight, so you can drop me down, I'm suddenly feeling better now".

"I said don't worry about it, we are almost there and I'm okay".

"I'm really feeling bad for stressing you this much, let me down so I can walk" Bethany didn't even wait for Savarus to drop her down, she jumped off from his back, immediately she separated from Savarus a sudden wave of cold hitted her, she started rubbing her two hands together.

'Stubborn girl, you won't ever listen, well this would be interesting' Savarus said inwardly.

"How are you able to withstand this cold with just those few clothes you are wearing" said Bethany, her teeth chattering together.

"You said you will be able to walk, didn't you?, Come on let's start going before it gets too late" Savarus started moving without even looking if Bethany was following behind.

Bethany didn't have any other choice than to bear the cold and follow after Savarus.

'Why did I insist on walking by myself, aah look at what I have gotten myself into, my pride won't even let me beg for help and I know he won't help me at all, he wants me ask for his help, which I won't, but coming to think of it, why was his temperature that hot when he carried me on his back then, I'm sure that isn't normal at all because this whether is so cold tonight' Bethany said inwardly.

After about ten minutes, they have finally gotten to their destination, Savarus was just about to go home when Bethany asked him a question.

"You know I'm not someone who will hide her curiosity, so I want you to answer this question, why was your temperature so high back then, it almost looks like you were burning".

"I'm not sure that's the case, you were imagining that my temperature was hot because you were really cold and was finding something that will produce heat even the smallest bit of it".

"Don't try to outsmart your way out of this one, I definitely know what I felt".

"Then defend yourself that you aren't feeling cold right now".

"I'm not, not even in a bit".

"I don't want to argue with you this time around, just go inside and keep yourself warm, I don't want to be the cause of your sickness".

"Whatever, I just want to tell you not to forget about the training, I'm looking forward to it tomorrow".

"Don't worry about a thing, I don't go back on my words, have a good night sleep Bethany".

"Goodnight Savarus, see you tomorrow" said Bethany while going inside to find comfort from the cold weather. Savarus turned to walk back home, he was currently thinking about everything that has happened the few days with Bethany

'I don't know why, but at of all those clan leader I have seen and heard about, the Abaric clan leader is the only leader I don't trust at all not even a bit, from those many years I have lived, I can clearly feel the personality of a person no matter how well they hide it, but what's her reason for all this, why go to this extent' thinked Savarus.
