1 The Beginning

Li Yan sat in his bed reminiscing his past. He is 23 in age imagining 10 years ago of how the situations was. Where he used to be the young lord of a small clan called Li clan. They run a small village where his father was the merchant. That's how rich the family was.

However, fate was cruel it was the late-night that a young master from the city come to his village asking for the monthly tribute. when his father and mother come greeting this young master. the young master fell in love with his mother. Because of that after the young master leave the li village he pays a mercenary to kidnap li yan mother and slaughter his family. And that is the end of The li family. Luckily Li Yan was able to escape with the some of the guard.

After escaping and learning about the truth he was crying for 3 days straight full with anger and sadness. Then he turns to new leaves becoming a bandit near the city of the young master.

Sigh "it already ten years and I still not yet kill that bastard" he sighs while walking out of his room. He was in his hideout in a cave near the city.

"Bos we found away," said a huge bald man while running inside the cave.

Li Yan sighing and take a deep breath then asked " found a way for what Li Dong"

Li Dong was one of the guards that escape with Li Yan.

Li Dong excitedly said, "The way to kill that bastard, Xiao Man!!"

Then he explain that Xiao Man was tasked to take the monthly tribute from village again. After the incident with Li Yan family his father was mad and scold him for the entire night and didn't let him take care of that job, But After 10 Years he finally told him to do it again because he keeps act rampantly in the cities sleeping here and there. Making mess everywhere and his father needs to clean it up so he sends his kid out of the city for a task. And it was Li clan remaining people chance to exact revenge.

Li Yan asked again with a solemn face "When, and with how many guards ?"

Li Dong still excited and answer " Tomorrow

boss finally we have a chance"

"Let's prepare then tell the men to gear up"

Li Yan group was the remnant of the Li clan. to be precise it was his bodyguards that protect him out of the mercenary encirclement and protect him until now. after ten years becoming bandit their number already got reduced while attacking some caravan for money, food, and weapon from 23 to 16. They are full of regrets but still wanted revenge and trying to disturbing the city income while trying to fulfil their needs.

The next afternoon they already near the village and prepare to ambush. They wait till night until they see the Xiao Man group going to the village with a carriage and 20 man fully equipped with weapon and armour.

Li Yan was not shocked seeing so many of Xiao clan guards. With Solemn expression, he said,"Slowly get closer to them I will go there when I give a signal start attacking".

Then Li Yan group one he groupone of the Xiao guard see it and said "Stop what are you doing here" and he gets closer to Li-yan "State your name and why you are here"

When he was 5 steps away from Li-yan.Li-yan suddenly dash and slash his sword to the guard's throat and yelled "Now!!!"

All of Li Yan underlings then start attacking and form and encirclement. They started attacking recklessly and soon Li Yan joined the fight.

But after a few classes, a sound comes from the carriage "Hmm mere mortal dare to ambush me!"
