Prologue

Magic is a strange phenomenon. Every being has some magic in them. Three species have shown themselves to be able to properly use magic. The three species made their own kingdoms. They are the kingdom of Humans, Elves, and Demons. The humans were known for being naturally strong and resourceful. Not much was known about elves of this time other than their speed and affinity for magic. Demons were strong in both strength and magic. The only reason they didn't conquer the other kingdoms is because of conflict within the kingdom. That all changed when a certain demon became king. He was a fair king who united demonkind, but his time would be cut short. He was assassinated by his second in command. His death left the demons angry, and the assassin blamed the death on the other kingdoms. Without warning, the demons attacked the elves. The elves fought bravely, but they were nearly wiped out. Humans were also attacked, and while they fared better, the demons still pushed them back to their capital city of Roseark. As the demons stormed the city all seemed lost, until three beings descended from the sky. They resembled humans, but something about them was off. They had a presence that made even the hardiest humans couldn't stand in their presence. They emitted a magic that massively weakened the demons. They completely changed the tide of the battle. The three beings prepared a seal. They sealed away all demons into a different dimension where they are today. Once the battle was finished they revealed themselves as gods. They left behind traces of their magic which is now known as "Holy Magic". "I still don't get why they helped the humans." Said a red haired girl. "Do this book has nothing about why?" Asked a girl with tinted light blue hair. "Nope nothing about why they came, just the battle and results of it." "This is the sixth book today that didn't have anything to help us." " I guess we could do more research tomorrow, but for now let's find a battleground and get some training in Allie." "All right, let's get going Rose!" The two girls left the library to a find a battleground to have a quick match. Once they found one they both began warming up. "All right Allie let's go!" "I'm ready Rose!" They both took stances and prepared for battle.
