25 Sound Hashira: Uzui Tengen

In an hour, the Hashira meeting came to an end.

It was nothing serious just how Mahito expected.

Kagaya merely continued to describe how Muzan wouldn't sit still at this point and especially pinpointed that everyone had to prepare to be ready for the final battle...

For once, Mahito knew what Muzan would try to do and second, that there was simply no time to waste.

Nonetheless, he silently listened to his father-in-law for the sake of the admiration he had for him.

Right after the meeting ended, Kagaya personally praised him for defeating an Upper Moon Demon and even requested Mahito to spend some time in the Manor.

However, Mahito rejected it with a smile as he deliberately said something that Kagaya couldn't hold him there, "I would love to, but I have to visit old gramps today... I have a feeling he might be in danger..."

Still, to not leave his father-in-law bitter-mouthed, he had to add something, "...Once I'm back, I'll make sure to spend some time with Hinaki and Nichika..."

As for Shinobu, she felt that Mahito was only teasing them because of Tengen.

So, she just stood there feeling excited, thinking about soon-to-be the beaten-up face of the Sound Hashira.

On the other hand, Uzui Tengen couldn't help but widen his eyes in utter shock. Since he wasn't expecting his wives to behave like a schoolgirl caught in their first love.

He only brought them with him because they were about to leave for the Entertainment District to collect the intel of the demon residing there, so he wanted them to see his flamboyant side one last time.

The weapon looked as flamboyant as his personality, though it didn't matter since he was up against someone who had an advantage over speed through and through.

Shinobu gazed at the fool with a mocking expression. She knew how hard it was to catch Mahito off guard since she had fought him multiple times past few weeks.

Moreover, his unparalleled ability to anticipate the enemy's moves was a feat beyond mortal comprehension, let alone attempting to overcome it.

Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru stood silently beside Shinobu, their expressions a mixture of worry and tension as they observed the impending battle.

Mahito, with how screwed up he was in mind, didn't unsheath his golden sword and merely grinned before he signalled Tengen to start whenever he liked.

"Y-you!!" Tengen murmured, his face became red as he shouted, "How much do you want to embarrass me, huh?"

The next moment, he launched himself like a missile toward Mahito with a weird grin across his face.
