17: The Enchanting Eye Which read "6"

a few hours went by..

itsuki stood there patiently like a lifeless statue, but after a while something indeed happened.

itsuki indeed noticed some strange movements off into the road, a group of men and women hypnotically walked towards the forest, they were drunk, but it was more than that they were talking amongst each other.

a change caught itsuki's eyes, a tentacle like thing appeared from the depths of the forest, instantly wrapping around the group slowly, which even they didnt notice due to the dark.

"gotcha" itsuki smiled, unsheathing his snow-white nichirin sword, with a graceful step he leaped towards the roof of another building behind him, deciding to stay back and not alert the enemy just yet.

BOOM

a loud explosion rang out, the tentacle was startled, as it shook, the humans were still quiet as ever, as if they didnt notice anything.

tch!

a flash of light appeared, cutting the demon tentacle apart, itsuki did this with a flash step, not alerting the humans, but definetly alerting the demon who was in charge of this.

"its definitely more than one demon, there is even a really strong one, probably a lower or upper moon" itsuki thought, although he wasn't technically scared, he was looking forward to a fight, but he wasn't planning on losing his life.

the humans slowly walked away back onto the sidewalk before leaving as if nothing happened, while the tentacle slowly disappeared and rushed back into the darkness of the trees.

"f*ck, its a demon slayer, this bastard really wants to die while "she" is here?" a weird horned demon with cracks on its face said..

they slowly appeared out of the dark, there was three of them, they were definitely working for whoever this "she" was.

"i'd advise you get whoever you are working for out immediately, or dont even think about being able to escape later" itsuki said with a smile as his haori blew in the wind, his snow-white sword carrying a bone-chilling aura.

the demons weren't scared, instead they seemed more annoyed.

"we thought it was a hashira, but its just a dumb kid?" a demon laughed..

"the kid is still a demon slayer, we didnt get that group of humans, but maybe "she" will enjoy this kid, he is a male afteralll" a shorter demon with a long tongue said with a devilish grin.

"then lets get him, this bastard actually even threatened us" the three demons roared, they couldnt wait to rip itsuki apart.

they had only been hiding as to not alert any groups of hashira's, although "she" was strong enough to fight a hashira no demon would eat humans on a large scale even if they could massacre this town instantly, they needed a delicious food source...

the more the humans reproduced, the stronger they would get by following behind "her" and getting their share.

itsuki held his sword, that same smile on his face as he raised his sword.

"come"

the demons seemed to rage even more before rushing out of the forest, their bodies changing, one had blades on its hands, another even had mouths all over its face..

swoosh!!

a casual sword slash, itsuki flashed past the three demons, slicing them up into pieces..

"seems like my new nichirin sword indeed made my attacks deadlier to demons than the one urokodaki gave me before" he thought before stopping in his place, a terrifying pair of eyes landing on him.

Within the darkness, two eyes flowed brightly, on one of then read "6" in a Japanese style writing.

"Those three idiots actually died? Well... I still had a few uses for them" a feminine voice was heard from deep within the small forest area, it carried a hint of much arrogance.

"Little boy, how do you want to repay me for killing my lackeys?" A female demon slowly walked out.

She wore slightly revealing clothes, and her hair was long, the seducing smile on her face would make others lose themself instantly.

Her long black hair flowing gracefully behind her as she walked over barefooted.

Itsuki had to admit, she was breathtakingly beautiful, which was unusual for demons.

This was Daki, a rank 6 upper moon demon.

Itsuki stepped back a bit, a upper moon was no joke, even for hashira's.

He calmed down and released his ice domain, he wasn't planning on backing down now.

"Cawwww... an upper moon caww.. upper moon" Itsuki's annoying crow continuously said before it flew off at a fast speed, most likely to inform headquarters.

Seeing the crow flying off, daki smirked before a tentacle shot from behind her, shooting towards the crow.

"Ho Ho, it'll be troublesome if hashira's come here" although daki looked forward to fighting a hashira, it would only be suicide if there were multiple.

Pssss...

The sound of breathing was heard, itsuki flickered off the ground and into the sky using the buildings around him.

5th form: Lunar Split.

His sword slashed out, a thin line of white appearing in the void, cutting through the tentacle, allowing the crow to escape.

Boom!!

It didn't stop there, the lunar split ripped apart the ground as it rushed towards daki.

"Tsk" she twitched her lips before swinging her arms, multiple tentacles erupted behind her to block the lunar split.

It was a fast attack, she hadn't even been able to react, she had underestimated this non-hashira demon slayer.

After successfully blocking the attack, daki gracefully leaped back, her eyes flashing with a hint of disbelief and redness, she was on the point of rage.

"Why is it suddenly cold?" This was her only thought, she was already within the bounds of itsuki's Ice domain, it was slowly getting foggy, this was ice domain being used to the max.

Her position would be revealed to itsuki instantly.
