3 Hakuzawa Village

Looking at his stats, he nodded. Since it was quite hard to understand the power system of this world, he devised a leveling system with the information he had at his hand, placing Muzan as the pinnacle with a level of 100.

With each level he gained, his stats would increase by 10 points. However, due to the sunlight falling on his body which resulted in burn marks, his vitality and strength stats were slightly diminished.

Quinn rose from his meditative stance, his eyes filled with awe as he saw the breathtaking view of the sunrise. Without hesitation, he propelled himself with a mighty leap, landing on a colossal boulder below where he was standing.

Seeing the height he jumped, anyone can tell a normal human can never do that. He looked to his left, his gaze fell upon a path going downward to the mountain's foot. With another huge leap to the side, he landed the path as he started descending the mountain.

In his way, a deep sigh escaped Quinn's lips, as he suddenly started remembering the memories of the sixteen years that had passed.

He couldn't help but think about the hardships his mother endured. She narrowly escape from the clutches of a demon, In the deep forest, they only survived on fruits and small animals that his mother was able to capture.

Yet, despite their dire circumstances, his mother's knowledge of herbal medicines she learned when she was young, had helped them from infections as she find various herbs to treat their wounds.

They are lucky that they didn't come across any predator during their journey. Walking in the snow-clad forest for countless days, they eventually stumbled upon a village.

Exhausted, his mother collapsed in the middle of the village, she did not consume any food for few days.

This village was known as Hakuzawa Village. The villagers are very kind and extended a helping hand, they cured Akiko back to health, and from that point forward, she started living in the village.

Her expertise in the medicine became her means of livelihood.

"System, what's the situation of my body?" He asked, The medicinal cure provided by the system hadn't exactly worked miracles, it merely halted his transformation into becoming demon.

As he matured, he started understanding his abilities—he could walk under the sunrays without dying. Not only that, but he also found himself with super human strength.

However, he soon discovered that he can change into an actual demon. When he tapped into that form, his physical prowess would surge double, but it came with a gamble of losing control over his own self.

Because of the demon blood, he also acquired a few perks of immortality. His body possessed the ability to regenerate lost limbs and even his own head, but only in the absence of sunlight, preferably during the night or in shadowed areas.

However, if someone were to cut his head under the sun, he would meet his end, as the sunlight will hinder his regenerative powers.

[Host, you're body is perfectly healthy. However, there's a problem with your demon bloodline. The medicine you took did manage to temporarily halt your transformation, but it wasn't potent enough to restore your humanity completely.]

[In this world, all demons are within the clutches of Kibutsuji Muzan, with a few exceptions being, Nezuko Kamado, Tamayo, Yushiro, and yourself.]

[Unfortunately, the effects of the medicine you took will gradually wane in the coming years. Unless you do something about it, you will fall under Muzan's control.]

The System responded with a cold and mechanical tone. A vein suddenly popped out on Quinn's forehead, showing his rising irritation. "Ugh, I swear I could punch that goddess right in the face!" He exclaimed, his voice carrying a mix of anger and defeat, his shoulders slumping in resignation.

Even with all the advantages and abilities he possessed, he realised that —he would become Muzan's slave if he didn't think a solution out of this. He know with each passing day, it grew increasingly difficult to maintain control over his body.

The System had given a few potential solutions, the most straightforward being to eliminate Muzan himself. Yet, considering his present strength, he knew all too well that he couldn't even leave a scratch on Muzan, let alone kill him.

Another option presented itself: consuming the medicine created by Tamayo during the final arc of the Demon Slayer anime.

He acknowledged that it could work, but he knew he had limited time. Moreover, even if he had the time, he was reluctant to give-up the benefits and advantages that came with being a half-demon.

Nevertheless, he remained calm and calculative knowing the plot and story, he had devised a plan that would give him the greatest victory on Muzan.

[Does host still want to go back to his original planet]

"Of course, I want to." He replied resolutely.

[Host, it's been sixteen long years already, and it may take many more before you can even hope to defeat Muzan. Do you honestly believe your parents would still be alive by then] The System asked with a tinge of doubt.

"Maybe they are, maybe they're not. But I won't give up without trying." He asserted with determination. "Enough about that for now. Tell me how I can prolong the effects of the medicine and also tell me on leveling up. I've been stuck at this 25th level for an entire year."

He hadn't put much effort to level up, thanks to the innate superhuman strength he had and because of his demon bloodline, his level instantly propelled to 20th level.

After that, through a hard exercise and dedicated training, he managed to push his physical limits further, gradually ascending to the 25th level. However, regardless of how intensely he trained, he found himself trapped in 25th level for an entire year, unable to progress any further.

Yet, despite asking system repeatedly, the System remained silent, not giving any answer.

He guessed the system was given to him by the goddess. However, so far, it had served no purpose other than displaying his stats and providing some answers to his questions. He could only think that the System had yet to activate fully, showing its true uses to him.

Even now, he didn't get any reply, but rather than thinking this, he had a very important work now, that is to return to the village.

The village was located at the base of the mountain. He daily informs his mother that he was going out to do exercises and meditation for being healthy. However, he would also train in a few combat movements daily.

After a half-hour walking down, his gaze fell on a village in the distance. It was filled with small huts enveloped in clear white snow. The tranquil atmosphere in air give a peaceful mood to the village.

A small smile appeared on his face as he descended towards the village. Upon entering, he exchanged few greetings with a group of fellow villagers, including some individuals his own age.

He made his way towards his home as he noticed its slightly bigger size compared to the neighboring huts in the village.

Recently, he did do some modifications, much to his mother' worries that he would mess up. However, he give surprise that surpassed her expectations.

"Mother I am home!" he called out as he entered the hut.

"Quinn, you're home. I'm here, working." His mother's voice echoed from her usual workplace.

He made his way towards the room where his mother usually do her medical works. Upon entering, his gaze landed upon a woman.

She wore glasses and possessed black hair. Despite a few wrinkles, her beauty remained unaffected. She was engrossed in investigating a few herbs infront of her as she sat upon a mat on the floor.

Without looking at his direction, she opened her mouth.

"Quinn, haven't I warned you about not going up the mountain? And yet, you did it again." Akiko's voice carried a gentle tone as she spoke.

His mother or any person in the village will call Quinn with his original name. Because, after being named by his mother as horishi, means 'gorgeous'.

He himself felt embarrassed at being called gorgeous, Although it was indeed a male baby name, he simply started urging people to call him Quinn from his childhood as he was comfortable with it.

Many people thought that it was his pet name, Akiko also didn't object it, and soon, she also regularly started calling him Quinn.
