9 Ch 8:The new Hashira

I can hear the whispers and feel the stares as I walk around.

"Did you hear, we have a new Hashira?"

"Is a she or a he?"

"Doesn't matter, she's 13 and your 17 dude."

"Does she look pretty at least?"

"No one has seen her face yet, she wears a mask."

"Dang."

I pass by them with the scent of my shampoo still lingering in the air after I had a bath due to the fight with Shinazugawa-san.

"What smells so good?"One of them sniffs the air.

"Smells sweet, like a flower."The other following.

They turn around to see me walking in the opposite direction.

"Is she new?"

"I think so?"

"It's rude to stare you know~"Talking in a sweet tone and a side glance before returning to the direction I was walking in.

They both blush as they were caught. I giggle a little making their blush even redder.

Everyone has introduced themselves before I had left.

Kyojuro Rengoku, Flame Hashira, very, very loud and energetic.

Mitsuri Kanroji, Love Hashira, Cute and enjoyable to be with, sometimes shy.

Obanai Iguro, Serpent Hashira, his right eye is yellow and his left eye is turquoise. Harsh and strict but I can tell he likes someone~.

Shinazugawa Sanemi, Wind Hashira, hot-blooded, and stubborn, oftentimes impulsive and quick to lash out, seen from earlier.

Kanae Kocho, Flower Hashira, Kind and easy-going I would say, her smile is gentle.

Himejima Gyōmei, Stone Hashira, I would call him a gentle giant like he's very tall, my neck hurts to look up at him but he is soft-spoken and sensitive.

And we have Giyu Tomioka and Sabito, Water Hashiras. These two never told me about becoming Hashiras, I am going to beat their asses later.

I sigh as I turn around the corner, to bump into someone, knocking them down.

"Oh, crud- Are you okay?"I crouch down to check on the person.

"Mm yeah, just a fall, nothing serious."

'Ah, it's a female.'

"Here, let me help you up."I got up and stretch out my hand.

"Sorry, about that, had a rough day."I scratch the back of my head.

"Yep, no problem!"She gave a smile.

We stood like that for a second.

"You look familiar, have we met before?"I eye her black to purple hair with a butterfly tie.

"Eh? I don't think so?..."Her face quickly blushes as I got closer.

"Ah!Got it!"My fist landed on my open palm.

"You look like Kanae Kocho!"I smile behind my mask as I slowly back away from her face.

"Ah..yes I am her sister, have you met her before?"

"Ah y-"

"Caw! Mission for you!"

"Kasai? Sorry, seems like I got to go.."

"Head east! There are demon sightings!"Kasai then flew into the sky.

"Sorry for cutting this short but I must go now,byee!"I wave my hand as I quickly walk to get my equipment.

"Ah okay.."She looks at my back before continuing on her way.

It's been a few days after the mission, I returned to the base as my estate was still being built.

I glance at the other slayers walking about, talking to each other.

That's when Mitsuri-san called me over when she spotted me.

"Hi Mitsuri-san!-"

"Haru-san!"She pulls me in for a hug.

'I can feel my bones cracking...'

"Mitsuri-san..lighter.."I pat her back.

"Oops sorry!"She lets go of me.

I gasp for air as she continues to ask me a question.

"Do you want to join me and Rengoku-san for lunch?"

"Oh sure!"

She then led the way to a restaurant where Rengoku was waiting.

"Mitsuri-san!"

"Rengoku-san!"

They happily greet each other.

'He's so loud...'I cried internally as my ears suffer.

"Ah, I see you brought Haru-san along!"

"Hehe yep!"

"Let's just head inside yeah?"I slip inside as the waiter led to our table.

"So what are you guys having?..."I look up from the menu.

"30 bowls of ramen!"

"30—?"I choke on air when he spoke to the server.

"30 plates of dango please.."

'Mitsuri-san?!?'

"Umm just a bowl of ramen for me please.."I look at the two shining brightly as the server nervously took their orders.

"You guys can really finish all that?"I ask as I place my arm up to rest my head on.

"Yep!"The two reply in sync.

I sigh as the first wave of food comes in.

I watch in amazement with my bowl of ramen as the food got eaten up with no problems.

"Wow..you weren't kidding when you said yes.."I swallow my noodles as the server brought in their last wave.

"Umai!"

Rengoku would always say that after a bite.

"You two sure are energetic.."I drink up the last of my soup.

They both were laughing as we paid for lunch.

"So what do you guys do for fun around here?"I look at the shops that were set up.

"Oh we usually go back to the base after lunch but we can wander around for a bit if you want?"

"Oh no that's fine, you two can go back without me."

"Okay! See you Haru-san!"The duo waves at me before leaving.
