Ch 30:Uppermoon 6

I stare at the window that Tanjiro just left. Apparently, he had to talk with a female called Koinatsu.

'I can sense a demon close by.'

I look at Tanjiro as he approaches me.

"You can smell it can't you? That sweet smell."

He widens his eyes before looking in the direction of where he came from. We made our way over to see the female being wrapped up in a cloth but no blood, indicating that she wasn't killed.

"Uppermoon 6.."I stare at her ever so familiar facial features.

"My my if it isn't Haru."She seems happy to see me after 8 years apart.

'I don't want to kill her, She's like an older sister to me same with her brother..' I narrow my eyes with conflict.

I look at her with conflict as Tanjiro made the first move.

"Let her go!"He yells.

"Who do you think you're talking to?"Veins pop up on her face and neck as she glares at him before striking him, making him be blasted backwards into another building.

"Tanjiro!"I look back to see him in the destroyed roof tiles.

I face her, drawing my blade.

"Haru."Her eyes narrowed at me.

"You killed too many people already Daki."

I back up as she launches a blow at me.

Tanjiro places his box containing Nezuko down as he draws his blade for the fight.

"Tanjiro you should change your breathing style, "I whisper to him as he steps back from attacking.

He attacked with Water breathing, Fourth Form:Striking Tide:Chaos, Slashing at the cloth used to attack.

"Water breathing doesn't suit your body, Your sword is chipped already."

"Ah.."He looks at his Katana.

"I believe you can do it Tanjiro, Those months of hard work training with me and the others will definitely help you do this."

"Ready? Let's do this, Just let Rengoku would say."

"Set your heart blaze!"

"Hinokimo Kagura, Scorching Crimson Mirror!"

"Lava breathing,Sixth Form:Obsidian Flame!"

We charge at her with our moves, him as the first attack. Her cloth then gets cut as she looks at him, shocked that his sword stance has gotten sharper.

"Don't forget about me!"

My Flame lashes at her before she could counterattack me. She steps back with my flames spreading at a quick rate.

"Flame Walt!"Tanjiro then closes the gap and swung his blade downwards at her.

She dodges in the nick of time before striking back at him. Her cloth would stab his neck but it appeared as an after-image, allowing him to reappear behind her to attack once more, only to be blocked with her cloth.

He gets slam back into the ground as she defends herself.

"Tanjiro!"

"Lava breathing,Third Form:Molten lava dome."

The dome covers her in a flash, restricting her movements as she struggles to break the dome.

"Tanjiro are you okay?"I ran towards him when Daki was busy with the dome.

I place my hand on his back, a small piece of pink flames surround his core, then continuing to spread to his lungs.

"It feels like I could perform multiple fire breathing techniques at once!"He exclaims as he got up with no backlash from using two techniques at the same time.

~Meanwhile with Inosuke and Hoshiko~

She watches in amazement as Inosuke went through a small hole by twisting his limps to fit.

"Man what a handy skill to have."She stares at the hole in wonder.

Inosuke pov:

"Pattern cloth? No, These are living beings..'

A voice interrupts his thoughts.

"What do you think you're doing in someone else's storehouse?"

"What the heck is with his worm?"He internally yells.

Hoshiko Pov:

'I can hear fighting and... yelling?'

"Just how do I get down there?.."I mumble to myself.

"Ah got it!'I smack my closed fist onto my palm.

I take out a silver-black power from my pouch.

"just a little sprinkle should do..."I let a small amount of the power flow out of the container.

"Now to light it up!"I grin.

Back to Inosuke Pov:

"Crap! So I have to fight this thing while protecting the humans!"

The cloth went straight for the girls that were behind me. It was then the ceiling came crashing down with a loud 'Boom' noise.

The girl who was paired up with me then followed suit and came in time to protect the humans with two other females.

"Maggot sash, huh?Couldn't have said it better myself!"

"That thing is so gross. You are right.I'm telling Tengen-sama!"

"Good to see that Mr Tengen's Wives are alive and well."Hoshiko landed next to them after slashing the cloth apart.

"Go for it Inosuke, we will back you up."The girl drew her blade to reveal a light colour with dark grey circles.

Hoshiko Pov:

'This demon is really tricky as it continues to push girls into attacking range whenever we would attack.'

A flash of electricity ran past me and went for the weak points of the cloth.

'Was this Zenitsu that Haru-san talked about?'

I look at his yellow haori with triangles as he finished his attacks. Another flash of midnight blue electricity then appeared beside me as the cloth tried to attack me as I was thinking to myself.

"Please don't let your guard down Hoshiko."Satsuka looks back at me as she sheathes her katana.

It was followed up by a louder 'Boom' than before from a different area above us.

'Is that...Mr Tengen?'The smoke clears up to reveal him wielding two large blades

"Sorry for being late."

"Time to put on a real flamboyant show."He grins.

"Heyyyyy Bastard God Of Festivities!! The maggot sash disappeared into the holes and escaped!!"Inosukes yells from far.

Tengen goes on to snap back, resulting in a verbal fight between them.

"We really should head to Haru-san now..."I broke up the fight by coming in between them and jumping out of the hole to join Haru.

The group soon follows after me with Mr Tengen in the lead.

I just sigh at their childish behaviour before looking back at the path.

My Pov:

We watch as a different sash went back into her body. Tanjiro went ahead to attack, leading to her disappear and reappear on a roof.

"Her appearance changed.."Tanjiro mumbles as he stares at her.

It has then a male voice calls out to us from behind. He goes on about not to argue in front of other people's stores.

"How annoying."Daki releases a death look at him before attacking the buildings in a rapid motion.

Tanjiro leapt forward to protect the man as the slash attacks hit his body.

Multiple screams from the buildings filled the air as parts of the building comes crashing down.

I look at the blood staining the bricks and the dirt ground before looking at Tanjiro who took the attack mostly for the older male.

"Tanjiro, I will be leaving you in charge of taking her down. Leave the civilians to me."I walk towards the man and took his other hand which wasn't affected.

He nods at me as his injuries were already healing from the leftover flames from me.

I took out multiple syringes to inject the people injured. I quickly gather up the people to an isolated area to help their pain.

"This will slow down the body from bleeding out, stay still."

I wrap up the male from earlier as his hand continued to bleed out.

"Hiro-san!"A female cries out as she holds on to a passed out male.

'He lost a lot of blood from his arm..'

"Move please."I place my hand onto his back to let a pink flame into his body to heal his arm from losing any more blood.

I sigh as his body goes into a stable condition.

'Just where is are those two...Although it seems like Nezuko is moving about..'

I finish up healing most of their injuries before moving back to the fight.

I leap from the rooftop to see Tanjiro and Uzui in a room of a building talking to each other before Uzui looks back to Daki.

Then Nezuko slams Tanjiro backwards, resulting in them falling from the second level. He was singing a lullaby to her, making her cry and fall asleep.

I watch with curiosity as she resorts to kid form.

It was then Daki and Uzui's loud conversation from the upper floor to catch my attention from the sight.

'This presence...It's Gyutaro isn't it?'I narrow my eyes at the sight of him talking to Daki as she cries.

A sickle comes crashing out of the house, catching Tanjiro's attention before the other boys come along.

"Satsuka and Hoshiko, glad to see both of you unharmed."They both appear behind me.

"Go ahead and clear the area of people while I cover for you."

They hum in response before rushing to help Uzui cover for the people inside.

"I see we have the two siblings out for the fight."I walk towards Uzui, looking at them as they cover for each other.

"Our dear Haru has arrived for us."Her tone had a bit of mockery in it as she stares at me.

"You may have taken care of me for 12 years but that doesn't change the fact you killed a lot of people."I snap back as I drew my blade.

"Shall we Uzui-san?"We close the gap, attacking them with simple slashes before moving to breathing techniques.

They close in on each other as we block their attacks, Uzui went ahead to use his custom gun power on Daki as I faced Gyutaro.

'Lava breathing,Fifth Form:Rising Lava Spikes.'

His body gets pierced by the jagged rocks as it continues to rise to the sky, smashing through the roof.

"Uzui-san, Your body is lagging. Did you get hit from his poison?"I glance at his body, although it seems normal on the outside, his breathing is becoming unsteady as times goes on.

"You got sharp eyes Haru."He closes his eyes as the trio comes into the battle.

I place my hand on his back to release a green flame into his core to get rid of the poison.

"Oi oi, Don't think you will win this."He got out from the spikes, his body recovering from the holes made.

His facial expression shows he was enraged as Daki went over to his side. I bit my bottom lip as I look at them.

'I got to do what I am needed for.'

"Shall we split up boys? Uzui with me."We went separate ways as Daki went to fight on the rooftop.
