26 Ch 25:Mugen Train

~A week later~

I watch from my patio as the children run around the estate as it was the time for morning exercise.

"Caw! You have been summoned to the compound by Oyakata-sama!"

"All right..Let them know I will be there soon."I got up, not before giving a glance to Mako as he nods.

I make my way towards the compound to be greeted by the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku and Tanjiro's friends.

We all have been summoned as we wait patiently for Ubuyashiki Kagaya to arrive.

"I see everyone is lively today."

We turn our attention to him as he sits down, we immediately went ahead to bow to pay our respects to him.

"Today I wanted to ask Haru-san to accompany Kyojuro-san, Tanjiro-kun and his friends on the mission I assigned to."

"Very well Oyakata-sama."I slightly nod my head to his request.

He dismisses us as we make our way to the exit.

"Hopefully this won't take long."I stretch my limps as we walk together to the train station.

Apparently, the train station was in a rather advanced town as they have things I haven't seen before.

"So this is a train?"I study the massive steel transport.

"Yep! I will go get our tickets, do wait here!"Kyojuro then walks away to buy them.

I sigh as I had to babysit these three boys as the boar head kept shouting at the train. I can feel the stares at us as they continue to make a racket among themselves.

"Will you shush?!"I wack his head as I see black clothing in the corner of my eye.

'Police?'

"Quick hide your katanas!'I whisper to them.

I had already hidden mine, wrapped up in cloth as I didn't wait to attract unwanted attention.

"What seems to be going on here?"One of them spoke in a stern voice.

"Oh, nothing, it's just that my siblings are too excited as they are finally going back to our hometown on a train after so long. And you know how they are when they haven't seen a train before!"I gave a sweet, cheerful tone as I ruffle Tanjiro's hair.

"Oh I see, do make sure they don't make any more disturbances."They walk away as I sigh in relief.

"Could you two be any louder?"I turn and speak in an annoyed tone.

It was then Kyojuro came back with our tickets.

We boarded the train, choosing our seats as Kyojuro ordered lots of bento sets before we left.

"Umai!"

I sigh as I rest my head near the windows as the yellow-red male keeps shouting 'Umai!' after every bite.

I began to zone out as the train travelled into the green plains.

Not before long, I was starting to fall asleep.

'Strange, I had a full 8-hour sleep. Why am I so sleepy?...'

I slowly drift off as the four males continue to talk to each other.

I open my eyes as the cold wind hits my body. I walk about, before looking down to see that it was snowy.

'Where am I?..'

I felt uneasy as I continue to walk through the thick snow, stopping at a familiar smell I hated.

"Demon ash.."I mumble.

I quickly make my way over to see a male with his katana drawn.

'Such a vibrant orange colour..'I study his blade before he turns around to look at me.

He quickly dashes at me, not prepared I held my arms up to block any force but it never came.

I look around to see that he disappeared from my sight, looking behind me I saw him running away.

'What the...'

I decided to follow him as he continues to dash through the snow to stop at a cave.

"No...Sora!.."He calls out.

Silence.

"Sora?... It sounds familiar..."I look at his clothing, his deep red haori covering his body as his head was down.

Another tall red hair male came along and place his hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

It was then I can take a good look at him when he turned around to face the red hair male.

'No...Is this...Father?'My eyes widened as I remember a picture of him and my mother in the notebook that Akaza gave me.

'So... who is this new person? and why do they look so similar to Tanjiro-kun?..'

"Whatever, I got to get out of this. This has to be a dream right?.."

'How do I...'I look around to see if I could use anything to help me until my sight fell onto my katana.

"If this is a dream and I need to wake up...then all I need to do is die right?"I draw my blade as I stare at it.

'Here goes nothing..'I gulp as I place the sharp blade at my neck.

I forcefully push the blade as it connects my neck, blood spurting to cover the icy snow.

I quickly open my eyes and panted as I touch my neck.

'I was right then..'

I look around to see everyone asleep in their seats.

"Kyojuro-san?"I shake his shoulders but there was no answer from him.

I open the window to see that the train was still going. I decided to climb through the window and onto the train roof.

"Water breathing,Twelfth Form:Water bubble."I pointed my katana at the train carts, water soon covering the inter walls to protect the passengers inside from any harm.

This was a defensive form as water would cover any surface, however not restricting airflow to anything within the bubble as it protects from any strikes as the attacks would bounce off the bubbly surface.

I did that for the rest of the train before making haste to the first cart.

"Lower moon 1..."

I face him as he reveals himself on the train.

"Ah, I see I have the pleasure of meeting the rumoured Haru-san."

"Lava breathing,Second Form:Magma Chamber Pierce.'

I rush towards him in a blink of an eye, sheathing my blade as I walk towards the train compartment.

"Did you think you killed me?"

I flinch at his voice as I turn around to see him merge with the train.

'Gosh, that ability is annoying.'

The train began forming demon flesh as it starts to attack me.

'When will they wake up!'I slash at the flesh closing in on me as I make my way towards the centre of the train.

"Water breathing,First Form,Water Surface Slash!"

I turn around to see Tanjiro awake as he cuts through the flesh that was about to hit me.

I also look about to see Inosuke awake and about as they both work together to bring the train down.

I nod at Tanjiro as I make my way to Kyojuro who was now awake and was protecting the people in the compartments.

"Glad to see you're up."He finishes cutting up the demon who was attacking.

"Back at you."

It was that I could hear Tanjiro perform a Sun breathing technique.

"Hinokami Kagura,Clear Blue Sky!"

The train was then blown off the tracks as Kyojuro and I rush to save the passengers.

'Lava breathing,Third Form:Molten Lava Dome.'

Multiple small domes began to form around the passengers as it protects them from any injuries.

Although I flunked back to the wall as the train crashes, the air leaving my body as my body hits the walls.

'Ugh..' I regain consciousness as I shakily stood up with blood running down my face.

'Seems like I got pierced by something when I got flunked back..'I ran over a small hole near my stomach as it heals.

I make my way out of the train compartments to see two figures in the distance.

'This smell...could it be?'

I wipe the blood as it drips down my cheek.

"Tanjiro-kun!"I spot his haori and ran towards him.

"Haru-san!You have to help him!"He points at the two who was now battling.

I nod as I drew my blade.

"Lava breathing,Fifth Form:Rising Lava Spikes."

As the two was about to clash, they had to back off once they saw the bright red in the ground between them.

"Uppermoon 3.."I pant to catch my breath, the blood loss was visible from the wound.

"Kyojuro-san, please let me fight with you."

"Are you sure? You're quite injured!"He rushes over to me.

"I'm positive."

"Haru. You know I won't fight you."His eyes narrowed at me.

"Ha I know, which is why I am the best fit to fight you."I grin at him as my mask had a slight crack.
