8 The Seven Sins Continent.
World setting! Spoilers: you can skip this chapter as it has so much information.
World PETNOUS was a big world as it housed cultivators at every cultivation realm apart from the primordials that decided to ascend after the ascension into the primordial realm.
But that is not necessary since everyone would choose to ascend. At least, that's what most people think.
It had eight publicly known continents and eight primary races, and every race occupied its respective continent; that's not to say that there were only eight races, no.
Still, this didn't mean that other races shouldn't go to other continents; anyone could go to any continent as long they could.
Anyway, the Demons, as the main race, occupied one of the most giant continents, the Demon continent, its actual name being the Seven Sins continent. It had a lot of different types of demons and a high population of nearly 9 billion; it could go as far as 1000 million kilometers.
But still, the demons weren't big enough to occupy all of the Seven Sins Continent!
Due to their high numbers, demons that are born a day were more than that died a day. So, its population was still growing.
With its high population, the demon continent would require a strong leader, not only in strength but mentally too, which it didn't lack.
The demon continent was ruled by the Seven Sins families, which ruled particular domains, unlike what one would think. Among the seven families, a leader had to be chosen that would rule above the other six families and the demon continent at large.
But what were the conditions to be selected??
In a race known for its aggressive and violent nature, the main condition was, of course, strength above that of the other family leaders. However still, since the leader couldn't rule alone, the strength of the family they ruled had to be put into consideration.
Then, the order would follow from the second strongest family to the lowest. Each family would then have three other pillars that helped govern the domain they ruled. Each domain was how the domain leader pleased, and the Emperor or Empress would interfere as long as nothing threatened the peace or the well-being of the demons in and outside the said domain.
Then, as an Empire, there was bound to be some inside and outside threats that would antagonize the peace of the continent, so to confront that issue, a Supreme Commander would have to be selected among the three pillars of seven families, which followed the same concept of strength, but that didn't mean the selected shouldn't be of the same family as the continent ruler, strength was a law in the demon continent.
Currently, the demon continent is ruled by the lust family under Lilith Asmodeus. She is the strongest of them all, and with her prowess, she could take on all other Sin rulers at once. Then, A question would arise: what was the cultivation base of the Empress and the sin rulers??
The position of the Supreme Commander still went to the Lust family as they had the most powerful man who could fight a Sin family ruler and escape with minimal injuries.
Most speculate she once stepped into the legendary Seven Star realm. As of now, she was a Half Primordial since two thousand years ago, but that didn't explain why she was so strong and left the question about the cultivation of the Empress unanswered.
As for the Six Sins families, they were all Three Star realm cultivators apart from the Pride family ruler as she had attained the Half Primordial Realm, which made her pride soar to even planning a coup, putting her in a high position in 'The New Petnous order.'

The Seven Sins families...
Pride.
The pride family was under Lucie Morningstar, daughter of Lucifer Morningstar, son of Damon Morningstar. Carrell Dew of the Dew family was the next after Lucie and was the Pride general; he was a demon that tempts people with a hardness of the heart, not yielding, a strong pillar of Pride.
After Carrell, there came Elgon Egot of the Egot family, the Internal and external affairs minister of Pride. He's a Prince of Ego and Confidence; he's a very scheming and cunning man. Who came last under Pride was Ricochet Dawson of the Dawson family, the economy minister and the advisor of Lucifer. He's the Prince of self-respect, regard, and self-esteem.

Gluttony
Garrett Beelzebub is the leader of the gluttony family. The Gluttony family was the second most prosperous family after Lust.
Aamon Bellion was the first, just next to their leader. He was one of the few demons with a life element; he governed farming and food production; most of the food in the demon continent is from the gluttony family, and they have the most enormous domain in the Seven Sins continent.
The next is Baal Clement, a three-headed demon with a man, a dog, and a fox head; he's also the gluttony general and the prince of rapacity and avarice.

Greed
Batton Mammon leads the greedy family; the greedy family has been seen on several occasions provoking gluttony. Some say it's because of the similarities of the two sins.
Oeillient Mammon, son of Batton, is the first of the three, the treasurer and the Prince of Dominions. He preaches breaking the vow of poverty and excessiveness.
Verrineu Mammon, the little brother of Batton, is the army general and leader of the greedy spy network, representing impatience and selfishness.
Third is Mayyon Mammon, the brains also the youngest brother of Batton; he's the advisor of Batton, Prince of unsatisfaction and manipulation.

Envy
Dastan Leviathan, a serpent demon, is the leader of the envy domain. Dastan wasn't too far from the sin he represents as he has been living in madness to get anything that he admires; it was due to this that he joined the N.P.O to satisfy his greed for more.
Elvis Leviathan, son of Dastan, is the Prince Jealous and hatred, the second in command of greed.
Baster Leviathan, brother of Dastan, the advisor and treasurer of greed, is the Prince of resentment
And last, Aminah Satie was adopted by Dastan when she was young; she's the general of greed.

Wrath
The leader of the wrath is Satan Wrathnie, the most short-tempered man in PETNOUS. He's a very ambitious man like Lucie, and they can be called rivals. The first on his council is Oliviel Detto of the Detto family, a fiend demon who tempts people with cruelty and mercilessness and is the general of Wrath.
Next to him is Soneillon Damien, prince of hate, the economy minister.
Lastly is Beth, who preaches committing homicide, blasphemy, and quarrelsome; she's an advisor and personal assistant to Satan.

Sloth.
Coming next is the most peaceful but dangerous family, which few people consider this factor, The sloth sin family led by McCarthy Belphegorr and the little sister of Beelzebub, a demon with the bloodline of the legendary twelve-tailed fox, known for their ice and illusions. The most number of demons in the sloth were all women, a ratio of 1:6.
Among those few male demons, there was one with a high position in the sloth domain;
Luvart, a male fox demon and the second in command after McCarthy, is the Prince of slacking; he can possess others with his mind powers and illusions to do his binding.
Astaroth, the preacher of laziness, idleness, and inactivity, the close assistant of McCarthy Belphegorr, was next to the leader herself in terms of laziness and slacking.
The last is Abaddon, the sower of mischief and ensnaring, also the one who cares for the well-being of the sloth demons.

Lust
Coming last is the lust family led by Lilith Asmodeus and the Empress of the Demons. Like other sin families, she also has three subordinates helping her in ruling both the lust and demons; most of the demons in the lust domain were incubus and succubus.
1-Verrarie Lustnie, an incubus who attempts men against vows of obedience and faithfulness, is a mighty demon and very handsome, which was expected with the incubi.
2-Roseir, a succubus that preaches against sexual purity and single partner, a close friend of Lilith, is the advisor and personal assistant of Lilith—also head of the shadows, the spy network of the Lust family.
3- Dracula, a vampire and the general of lust. And a supreme commander of the demon continent, the most feared man in the Seven Sins continent.
