Sylvana spoke with an interested look on her face. Hearing her Jack narrowed his eyes and looked at her mother as if saying, I am listening!!.

Seeing the look of interest on her son's face, Sylvana smiled internally And said.

"As you know the winner of the tournament, will get a chance to take whatever items they want, they could take from the treasury."

Seeing that he was listening to her very seriously she smiled and said.

"Our treasury holds items which have the power to even scare the strongest races, Our treasure holds many strong artifacts which once realized upon the world can cause great destruction.. Even then we let the winner take whatever item they want."

She leaned forward slowly, showing her lustrous curves, and spoke

"Do you know why that is..."

Right now she looked not more than a seductive succubus who was ready to jump on her target if the fact that she was human wasn't known to Jack. He would have thought that she was the queen of succubus.

And yeah Jack or I say Damon was the son of a demon and a human well that's a trait that was not common in the demon world, but the woman who was seen in front of her even though she was a human was respected by all demons. She had made her image so strong in the demon world all by herself and now is the acting Demon queen.

But right now Jack was thinking an entirely different thing...

' Wait if the treasury holds that strong artifact then why would let anyone take anything from there....'

Then as if he understood something, he saw his mother with shocked eyes.

"Yes, you guess this right. The things they take it's from the treasury are not the real treasure.."

That was very shocking for Jack, he didn't even say anything and just stared at her, with a look which said 'really then why are you telling me this'.

Seeing him look at her like that she smiled and shook her head, And said.

" Don't look at me like that, you don't think that we would give them the real deal, do you? And don't think we gave them. Some kind of cheap artifacts or something, even though we can't give them real artifacts, we give them the things which can certainly help them to grow, ok my baby.."

After thinking about that for a little while Jack understood that, This might seem like cheating to others but it was necessary to maintain peace after all we don't want to see people attacking each other with artifacts strong enough to destroy a whole country. Do we...

"Then what opportunity you are talking about mother..."

Even though Jack had a little idea what her mother was going to offer to her, he still decided to ask her.

And with a big smile on her, face Sylvana replied.

"If you were able to win this tournament and come first then, I the acting Demon Queen will give you access to the real treasury."

A truly tempting offer she just had offered to Jack and after knowing the true extent of the artifacts that were inside the treasury, It was an offer which was hard to decline for anyone even for Jack.

Sylvana, with a small smile on her mouth, saw her son with a great interested look. As she was waiting for his expression to change somehow. And knowing what her mother was thinking, he didn't give her the thing she wanted to see.

Seeing that she frowned but then shook her head.

"Tell me if you are going to take part in a sword competition then does that mean you are going to take part in a Magic tournament too? After all, magic is something which you like very much."

She spoke to Jack with a meaningful smile on her face.

" I will think about that mother..."

"Ohh is that so well that is ok, we still have time for the magic competition."

"Now I would have talked more with you but you see, your mother has more work to do. So we will talk again after you win the tournament. Ok, my dear."

"Yes mother, then if you excuse me.."

With a smile on his face, Jack left her room and walked towards his room to take some rest and plan his future course of action.

It was the day of the competition, and everyone in the DEMON EMPIRE was looking forward to this day, Participants from all over the demon continent had come here to take part in this event. And everyone no matter whether Noble or Commoners has gathered in the capital of the demon Empire.
