25 Chapter 25: Mobilization (bonus 1/5)

Upon hearing Whistler's praise, Trask nodded proudly. His creations were always exquisite.

Apart from his particular obsession with mutants, Trask was reliable in other areas.

Excitedly, Whistler turned to Andrew and said, "Boss, quickly send me back to Earth. I can't wait to kill vampires, and by the way, I also want to save Blade."

"No rush, you need some training first. As for Blade, he's not dead."

Andrew snapped his fingers, and a curtain of light appeared. Within the curtain, Blade was suspended in mid-air, covered in wounds, looking extremely battered.

"Those bastards."

Whistler cursed, but Andrew shook his head and addressed the curtain, "Blade, if you're willing to give me your soul after death, I will save you and send a very powerful assistant to help you."

Andrew's voice resounded in Blade's mind. He was initially stunned but quickly responded decisively, "No problem. I'm willing to sacrifice everything as long as I can kill vampires."

The blade was a half-vampire, with a soul existing within his body.

"Contract complete. Wait and see, you won't regret this deal."

Andrew nodded in satisfaction, while Whistler laughed, "Boss, you might have suffered a loss this time. Blade is a half-vampire and can live for several hundred years. Wait, the assistant you just mentioned, it wouldn't be me, right?"

"You think he's the one profiting, but you don't know that the demon king never loses."

Andrew said, "I don't care about your souls. I only care about one thing: eradicating vampires. Whistler, this will be the shared mission for you and Blade. You will become my messengers, killing vampires on my behalf."

Whistler's metallic face was filled with a smile as he replied, "With great pleasure."

"Very well, go and train. Master the cyborg body as soon as possible."

Andrew nodded and headed towards Howard's research base. He asked, "Is the artificial intelligence not ready yet?"

Howard replied, "No, but don't worry. I've created a basic intelligence that can control robots to save people. It won't hinder your affairs."

Andrew said, "That will do. Just remember to add firewalls so that no one can hack into it. Your son is not a well-behaved person."

Howard chuckled, "Don't worry, in the Stark family, only the father hits the son, not the other way around."

...

At night, in a vampire gathering place in New York, vampire leader Deacon Frost shouted loudly, "We are the noble bloodline. Humans are merely our food. Only the decayed Vampire Council would negotiate with humans."

"Now, the council has been overthrown, and there is nothing to stop us. I declare that the revelry has officially begun. From now on, there are no restraints, no limitations. Do whatever you want."

"Blood feast!"

"Blood feast!"

Vampires in all the gathering points in New York simultaneously roared. Then, they rushed out of the gathering points, beginning their hunt for delicious prey, indulging in complete revelry.

Humans were merely their food.

"Let's go to the altar."

Deacon spoke to the elite vampires behind him. The vampires nodded and followed Deacon, driving towards the ancient altar.

On the way, a chubby vampire held a device and said to Deacon, "Someone is tracking us."

"Everything is within his expectations."

Deacon who now can be identified as fake said disdainfully. His task, like other vampires, was to help the real Deacon distract the attention and energy of humans.

Once Deacon achieved blood godhood, he would lead the vampire race to completely defeat humans and establish a vampire kingdom.

...

Meanwhile, in the New York City sewer in the Manhattan district, Dr. Lizard in his human form pointed to the vials in the corner and said to the dozens of fellow creatures in front of him, "Take these vials to the streets and turn others into our kind."

These dozens of creatures were the people living in the sewer. They were impoverished, forced to live in the sewers, and even worse off than beggars. Dr. Lizard discovered them and used the vials to turn them into his kind.

"Yes, leader."

The lizardmen nodded in agreement, filled with excitement as they left with their potions. They aimed to establish a lizard kingdom, a realm where everyone was equal and devoid of any shortcomings.

Long live the lizardmen!

Once all the lizardmen had departed, Dr. Lizard, carrying a backpack, emerged from the sewer. He was heading back to Osborn Industries, where a device awaited him. This device had the power to generate a fog of medicine that would envelop the entire city, transforming New York into Lizard City.

...

At the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson, the editor-in-chief, roared into the phone, "Peter Parker, have you arrived? Hurry up! I received some information that there will be a major news story tonight."

"I'm coming right away, I promise."

Spider-Man swung between buildings while shouting. He felt frustrated that he had to work overtime for temporary pay, just like the regular employees. Jameson was truly a vampire.

"Hurry up, or beware, I'll fire you."

Unsatisfied, Jameson hung up the phone. At that moment, a cameraman beside him pointed to a nearby alley and shouted, "Boss, something's happening!"

Jameson quickly turned his head and saw a man pinning a woman against the wall in the alley. It seemed like he was attempting to assault her.

"Just an assault, nothing major."

Jameson said as he lack any interest. But then, the man suddenly looked up, and in the light, his mouth was covered in blood, revealing his distinct fangs.

"A vampire! Start live broadcasting immediately!"

Rather than being alarmed, Jameson was thrilled. He shouted immediately, and then addressed the camera, "This is the Bugle TV station. There has been a lot of debate online about vampires lately. Now, I'll show you whether vampires really exist."

Jameson signaled the cameraman to focus on the scene. The man was aggressively sucking the woman's neck. Just as Jameson was about to say something, the two individuals turned toward them in terror. In the next second, they were tackled by another vampire behind them, and then both vampires eagerly began drinking their blood.

This scene was captured by the camera, and viewers in front of their televisions were extremely shocked. Was this real or just a special effect for a show? Meanwhile, similar attacks were occurring throughout New York City, and many people uploaded videos online, rapidly spreading the panic. Although the audience was skeptical, fear was gradually spreading.

Inside the New York branch of S.H.I.E.L.D., Iron Man stared at the various calamities unfolding on the screens and angrily exclaimed, "Why aren't we taking action? What are you waiting for?"

"We're waiting for approval from the World Security Council. With our capabilities, we could have eliminated the vampires long ago. We haven't acted because the higher-ups didn't agree."

Agent Coulson looked at Nick Fury, who was currently in a meeting with the council, and said, "Now, they have no choice but to agree."

Iron Man frowned and asked, "Did you deliberately create the current situation?"
