53 Wei Wangxu!

In the morning Mingmei's sleep broke and she found Xuan was seated beside her, sleeping. His one hand was over her hand and the other near her head. A smile carved on her lips. She tried getting up when a jerk was felt by Xuan, immediately opening his eyes.

"Human," murmured Xuan and then made her sit by snaking his arm around her waist. Mingmei tightly grabbed his arms while Xuan put some pillows behind her back.

"How are you feeling?," asked Xuan and then tucked her hair strands behind her ears. Mingmei's cheeks turned red and she pushed him lightly. "Don't do this," murmured Mingmei. Xuan noticed that she's feeling strange with his closeness to her.

Mingmei then looked at him and said, "Please call back Ning Li for me. How will I do the chores? I mean…"

Xuan cut her words. "I understand. But I'm angry with her. She made a mistake so she should get punished for that," muttered Xuan.

"I told her to be in the car. Why are you getting angry at her when it was my mistake? Then shouldn't you punish me?," inquired Mingmei in her soft voice.

Xuan smirked and looked at her amusingly. "If I'll punish you then you will start hating this demon. Moreover, I am not a bad demon. As I said before, demons work with angels to maintain balance in the human realm. The only difference between a demon and Angel is that we demons punish humans in whatever way we like but angels can't do that," muttered Xuan.

"You're scaring me," murmured Mingmei and turned her face away.

"Okay, you need someone who can serve you and other than Ning Li I don't trust anyone that much. So for you I'll call her back but in future if you get hurt then I'll punish her ," stated Xuan.

Mingmei gazed at him and said, "it won't happen." Xuan smiled and then went out of the room. After 10 minutes he came inside with Ning Li. Seeing Ning Li, Mingmei got delighted.

Xuan walked out of Mingmei's room and went to the other where Ming Si and others were sleeping. He saw the three of them were sleeping soundly on the bed so he sat on the couch there and started thinking about Jiong.

"He's in that old mansion so today I'll go there to end him. That immortal drink I've to take back at any cost. But it feels like I've to spend more time here," thought Xuan in his mind. After thirty minutes, Ming Si's sleep broke because of his ringing phone.

Ming Si answered the call and then after sometime cut the call. "What happened?," asked Xuan.

"You can watch TV. Mingmei's brother is arrested and many other things," murmured Ming Si and then yawned.

A smile carved on Xuan's lips and he rushed out of the room. He sat on the couch in the living room and turned on the T.V. He couldn't find the news channel so he shouted Mingmei's name. Just then Mingmei came out of the washroom, freshening up and heard her name.

"Ning Li, help me take out," said Mingmei. Ning Li nodded and took her out. They reached the living room and saw Xuan was scrolling through the channels. Xuan's eyes fell on her, with a flash he appeared before her and then made her sit on the couch.

"Ahh I've to call the doctor too. Your wounds need dressing," muttered Xuan.

"But what happened?," asked Mingmei. Xuan calmed himself and said, "I want to see some news. Ming Si told me that news gives you a lot of information." Mingmei nodded and took the remote from him. She switched to channel 139.

"Tang Lao. This name is known to everyone in the city. He's promoted as a judge yesterday but last night in the early morning, the police investigated some hidden secrets behind his success. Ten years ago he gave money to qualify the exam for lawyer and not only did he extract money from many innocent people," stated the reporter.

"It's good. Such bad people need punishment," muttered Xuan and gestured to Ning Li to sit beside Mingmei.

"We are directly reporting from the house of Tang Lao where we found a lot of black money. The raid is going on and his wife, Mrs Jenny is also involved in a money laundering case. The younger brother, Weng Hao and his wife Li Bao Xi are also being investigated," said the other reporter.

Ming Si, Yang Dao and Feng Lui came there and enjoyed the show. But Mingmei was feeling the opposite. Tears fell from her eyes. They all looked at her when Xuan asked her why she was crying.

"That's my brothers. I don't believe he did such a thing," murmured Mingmei.

"He didn't use to study when he should," grunted Xuan. Mingmei looked at Xuan and asked, "how did you know this?"

"I read his mind, seeing his picture on the TV. He also used to torture you and his wife is worst. Your younger brother and his wife are no less. They all tortured you so why these tears?," asked Xuan.

Mingmei sobbed and wiped off her tears. "Don't cry," murmured Xuan and got up from the couch. He then carried her in his arms and took her inside the room.

Yangzi was roaming in the SJE head office. "I don't know where Gongzhu is. She didn't show herself for two days. Bingbing scolded me so much because we failed to save Mingmei. Her condition was really bad. I'm happy that the young master didn't scold me," murmured Yangzi when her eyes fell on Wei Wangxu.

A broad smile appeared on her lips. "Ahh!! He has so many fans but I'm his biggest fan. Oh, what's this? Is he trying to harm Wei Wangxu? Wei, just run from there," shouted Yangzi.

"No, he can't hear me. But I've to save him but angels can't interfere in human lives. Yangzi you've to do something before the man will harm him," thought Yangzi when she saw the man was almost going to hit Wei Wangxu.

Yangzi immediately appeared before Wei Wangxu and was visible to all the humans. The man had a knife in his hand and was going to stab Wei but Yangzi glared at him and then grabbed his hand firmly. The man screamed in pain. Yes, as an Angel she's more powerful than other normal beings.

Wei Wangxu looked at Yangzi and was startled that a girl had saved him. A chaos could be seen there after this incident. All the fans started shouting in fear. The bodyguards came forward and grabbed the man from his arms. Others made the fans calm. The manager of Wei Wangxu and a bodyguard took him out.

Wei Wangxu while going from there, was still looking at Yangzi who just saved him. "How dare you hurt my Wei Wangxu??," muttered Yangzi in anger, looking at the man.

"Ma'am! Let us handle him. You should also leave from here," said one of the bodyguards. Yangzi nodded and then looked back but Wei Wangxu was already gone from there. She walked away from there and then tried disappearing but she couldn't.

"What?," exclaimed Yangzi and looked at herself. "Why am I not able to disappear?," murmured Yangzi and again tried but it was in vain. Yangzi got worried because of this.
