Don't cry

Xuan was walking in the market when he saw a man of 40-45 of age was beating a child of approximately 10 years old. The crowd was there surrounding them. He walked there to see why the man was beating the kid.

"Please uncle, spare me. I won't steal the food….Please forgive me," said the kid while tears were all over his face.

"You should thank me for giving you free food in the morning but you steal daily from here. Now I know you are that person who was stealing my money," said the man and this time he hit the kid with a stick.

Xuan looked around but no one was stepping ahead to save the kid. "Humans are so cruel….at least they should speak for this thing. Time to do something," thought Xuan in his mind.

"Stop it you oldie," shouted Xuan. The man stopped hitting the kid. Everyone shifted their gazes to Xuan who was in anger.

"Whom are you calling oldie?," asked the man and stepped towards Xuan.

"I guess there's only one oldie here," said Xuan glaring at the man.

"What?," mumbled the man and almost hit Xuan with the wooden stick when Xian grabbed the stick and pulled the stick from the man's hand. " I can do the same thing with you….you old jerk," said Xuan in anger. He threw the stick in the ground and went to the kid. Wiping his tears off he asked the kid if he's fine.

The old man picked the stick and walked towards Xuan to hit him.

"Brother," shouted the kid and pointed his finger to the man. Xuan turned back when the man hit his head with the stick. "You filthy brat….how dare you to call me an oldie," said the man angrily and was going to give Xuan and another blow when Xuan grabbed the stick from his hand.

He got up from the ground and grabbed the man's neck. Among the crowd someone called the police.

Xuan's power was returned and his eyes started turning purple. He threw the man in the air while his hand was still on his neck grabbing him firmly. "Ahhh...le...leave me", said the man but Xuan wasn't ready to let him go. He threw the man and he was almost going to hit the ground when the time stopped.

Xuan turned his face to see who did that and found two angels there. "You should know where you are stepping," yelled Xuan angrily.

Mingmei was working in the shooting set, checking the lighting when everything was stopped. She found that everyone around her was frozen. Yang Dao and Feng Lui came to her. "Did you do something?," asked Feng Lui.

"No," replied Mingmei.

"Young master you shouldn't hit a human. You will have to bear the consequences," said Angel Win Su.

"Now you will teach me what's wrong and what's right? Where were you three when this human was hitting the kid?," asked Xuan angrily.

"Angels and demons can't interfere between them," said Angel Li Tan.

Demon Nuwa and Qiao Juang came there. "Stop Xuan," said Qiao.

"Don't order me," said Xuan glaring at him and was going to turn on the time when Nuwa said, "Xuan it won't be good. You're here for some reason. So, just do your mission without coming into anyone's notice." Xuan turned to his normal self because of the pendant in the pocket.

The two angels and demons disappeared from there. Xuan saw that everything was turned to its normal self as if nothing had happened. "Ahhhhh…," Xuan winced in pain. He touched his forehead and saw the blood on his head. "I'll kill this human once I'll get my powers back," murmured Xuan and walked away from there.

"Ahh…Mingmei told me to come to her workplace as she will give me a treat today," murmured Xuan and looked at the sky. It was almost evening so he ran towards Mingmei's workplace and forgot about his injury.

Xuan was standing outside the agency gate waiting for Mingmei. He saw people were looking at him before leaving from there. He touched his face to ensure if there's anything on his face. He saw Mingmei coming out of the gate so he called for her loudly. Feng Lui and Yang Dao were looking at them from far.

"Do you think there's something going on between them?," asked Feng Lui.

"I'm not thinking what you're thinking," said Yang Dao. "Let's go. Xuan will take care of her now." They both disappeared from there.

Mingmei looked at Xuan and ran towards him with a worried look. She touched his forehead and asked, "where did you get this injury?"

"Ahhh….this. Long story… tell you later. First treat me a good dinner," said Xuan with a smile. Mingmei held his hand and took him inside with her.

"Why are we going inside? We've to go there Mingmei," said Xuan while walking with her. They got inside a room which was vacant. Mingmei made him sit on the sofa there and took out the first aid kit from the cabinet of a table placed on the right side of the sofa.

She sat beside him and cleaned Xuan's wound from a disinfectant. "Ahh...be gentle," said Xuan and closed his eyes.

"Why do you fight? Are you a kid? Look, your injury is so deep," asked Mingmei with a broken voice. Xuan opened his eyes and said, "Stop acting like a mother. It's because of that human. I'll kill him once my powers will be back."

Mingmei slapped him lightly at the shoulder and said, "you love to kill people. Stop indulging in fights." She then put a bandage on it. Xuan looked at him and said, "Why are you crying? It's not a big injury. When I was in the demon world I used to get many more injuries than this." He smiled saying this.

Mingmei turned back and wiped her tears from her face. Xian scratched his head with his index finger and then said, "Hey human girl, it's not a big deal. I can bear such injuries."

Mingmei turned to him and said, "you're in the human world where you have no powers. What if something happens to you?"

Xuan smiled and said, "What can happen to an invincible master? You shouldn't cry for such small things. I haven't eaten since this lunch so let's hurry to the restaurant where you are going to give me a treat." Mingmei smiled and said, "Let's go then." They both left for the restaurant from there.

They took a seat on the upper floor where usually less people go to dine at that restaurant. Mingmei ordered meals for them.

"Ahh your pendant is with me," said Xuan and took it out of the pocket.

"Why didn't you wear that?," asked Mingmei.

"I don't want to. I still feel that you need more protection than me. I can protect myself," said Xuan and handed the pendant to Mingmei. She got up from the chair and walked to him. Xuan looked at her with a surprising look. She put the pendant around Xuan's neck.

"If you consider me a good friend then you've to wear this always," said Mingmei.

"Why I always get defeated by you in the arguments?," asked Xuan with a smile.

"Because I'm your bride," said Mingmei, looking into Xuan's eyes. He started laughing hearing this and said, "No. Because you helped me in this realm that's why I listen to you else I don't listen to any woman except my mother."

Mingmei smiled hearing this and sat on her seat. Their meals reached there. Mingmei told him to eat.

"Ahhh….it's so yum," said Xuan while licking his lips. "We will come here daily," said Xuan.

"Ehh…I'm not a rich person," said Mingmei.

"I'll ask for money from Ming Si," said Xuan and smiled. They were enjoying their meals when Mingmei's ex boyfriend Wao Xiu stood before them with his girlfriend Bibi. "You found a boyfriend for you. Interesting. I was wondering who can be so lame to date you," said Wao Xiu and smiled along with Bibi.

Xuan looked at them and recalled it was the same guy from that day.

"Looks like the beatings of that day weren't enough for you," said Xuan with a smile. Mingmei looked at Xuan and told him not to say anything.

"Who are you? It looks like you're quite a rich man. I dated her for two years but she was just after my money. I want to advise you one thing that you shouldn't date such a cheap girl," said Wao Xiu. Xuan laughed and got up from his chair.

"You cheated her and now you're saying to stop seeing her. Apologize to her if you don't want to be killed by my hands," said Xuan angrily.

"Darling, let's go from here. You shouldn't help people," said Bibi, dragging Wao Xiu away from there.

"Idiot. I'll seriously kill him if he will appear in front of me from the next time," said Xuan and looked at Mingmei who was wiping off her tears. He sat on the chair and held her hand in his hands. "Don't cry because of such people," said Xuan.

"Let's go. I'm full," said Mingmei. She got up from her seat and walked down from there. Xuan glared at Wao Xiu and then ran after Mingmei. She paid the bills and walked out of the restaurant, waiting for Xuan.
