A bracelet of Love

Mingmei got two days off because the shooting got cancelled because of some reason. Seeing her at the home Xuan asked her, " What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at work?"

"I got two days off," replied Mingmei and walked towards the kitchen. Xuan looked at her and said, "Well I'm going out. If any strange thing happens then call my name. I'll appear." Before Mingmei could have a nod to him, Xuan get disappeared from there.

Mingmei was cutting the vegetables. Many thoughts were going inside her mind about Xuan.

"Is he angry at me because of yesterday's incident? But why is he angry? The old woman had told me that he will adore me a lot. But he's also turning his face away from me like the other closed ones do to me. But at least he's taking care of me. He's with me, that's the biggest thing I got from him."

While she was thinking all this her index finger got a bit from the knife and blood started oozing out from that. She put her finger inside her mouth to stop the bleeding and then walked towards her room. She took out the bandage from the cabinet, was going to put it on her finger when she felt that her house door fell open. She put the bandage on the table and walked out of her room.

She didn't even step out of the room properly when someone grabbed her hand tightly and she screamed her lungs out. The demon pulled her finger towards his mouth and sniffed at her finger.

"Your blood is making me insane," muttered the demon with a smirk. Mingmei thought to call Xuan but then thought it could be a trap for him. She hit him with her other hand but it didn't affect him. He sucked at her finger and drank the blood flowing through her veins. Mingmei started screaming when the demon sucked the blood.

He released her and said, "other demons can be here to suck your blood but I won't share such a precious thing with any other demons," muttered the demon. Mingmei understood what he was going to do next so she hit him hard with a flower vase and ran outside from there. She almost opened the door when the demon grabbed her by her hair.

"Ahhhhh," screamed Mingmei and hit at his hands. "You filthy human," shouted the demon and threw her. She fell on the floor and her elbows and arms got hurt. She started crying while the demon was smiling at her. He went near her with lightning speed. Cupping her face he said, "it won't hurt at all."

He was going to rip her finger to suck her blood when a gust of wind was felt. The demon stood up and numbed to see Xuan, the young master. Xuan looked at Mingmei who was in a dilapidated state.

"Young ma..mas...master," stammered the demon. Xuan grabbed the neck of the demon and said, "How dare you touch my bride?".

"Plea...please forgive me..," said the demon with an utter fear. Xuan gave a slight laugh and then called Nuwa there. Nuwa immediately appeared there. Xuan threw the demon and he fell with a strong force on the floor. Xuan looked at Nuwa who understood his expression and grabbed the demon, disappearing from there.

Xuan turned to Mingmei and then looked at her. She didn't look at him when he pulled her face towards him. Mingmei lowered her eyes and said, "it's fine. You don't need to worry." Xuan didn't say anything and carried her in his strong arms. He put her on the bed in her room and sat beside her.

"Where's the medical kit?," asked Xuan.

"I'll do it myself," said Mingmei.

Xuan looked around her room and found the medical kit which was placed on the table. He went to the table and brought that kit with him. He started cleaning her wounds from the disinfectant. He has the grim look on his face. When he was done cleaning he put the bandage on them.

He looked at her finger which was bleeding too much. He touched her finger and it started healing. Mingmei was surprised to see this. "Thanks," whispered Mingmei.

"Why didn't you call me?," asked Xuan looking at her with an angry look.

"I was...was...going to but…," mumbled Mingmei.

"You aren't a normal human. You should be careful of this. I told you clearly to call me but it seemed you took yesterday's talks to another level. Our future isn't known. I was just telling you my opinion that if such a thing happens I won't care for you because in the demon world my family is awaiting me. What if he was the masked demon? You won't call me then?," said Xian looking into her eyes.

"I'm sorry. I won't do this ever again," said Mingmei with lowered eyes. She then got curious and asked, "How did you find that I'm in danger?"

"I didn't go far from here, so I got that demon's scent," said Xuan. Yang Dao and Feng Lui appeared there. They looked at Mingmei. "You both stay with her till the evening. I'm going out," saying this Xuan disappeared from there.

"Mingmei are you okay?," asked Yang Dao and sat on the chair there.

"Yes, I'm fine. Xuan saved me," said Mingmei with a smile.

"That demon hurted you badly," said Feng Lui, looking at her arms. "Where was Xuan?," asked Yang Dao.

"He was outside so I thought not to call him that's why I got injured badly but it's fine now. He healed my finger with his magic," said Mingmei and smiled. Yang Dao looked at Mingmei and got worried.

Xuan was laid down on the couch in Fei Ming Si's house. "Her scent is strong. I should stay away from her," said Xuan.

Ming Si was seated at the opposite side of Xuan on the couch. "Her scent is making you insane. But you were outside the city, you still got her scent," said Fei Ming Si.

Xuan got up and said, "father has told me this earlier but I don't want to be with her every time."

"Then don't be. Yang Dao and Feng Lui love to stay there," said Ming Si and laid his head back on the couch.

"Then I will stay here. It's more comfortable here. Okay then I should go. I've got some information about them. I want to leave this human realm as soon as possible ," said Xuan.

"I'll also come," said Ming Si and they both disappeared from there.

They reached inside an isolated house. Ming Si looked around and said, "it seemed that they were here for quite a long period." Xuan nodded and checked the things there. Ming Si went to the second floor to check the rooms while Xuan checked the first floor.

He checked the rooms there but didn't find anything. His eyes fell on the room which was far south so he went inside the room. The room was completely dark but he saw a dim light coming from the table there. He walked there and found a wooden box on the table. There was a bracelet inside the box which was of gold and was glowing. He touched the bracelet and it embraced around his hand. He immediately touched his hand and felt a pain inside his heart.

He fell back and held his chest. The pain kept on increasing so he started screaming. Hearing his scream, Fei Ming Si came there. He rushed to him and asked him, "What happened?"

"Ahhh..my heart it's paining," said Xuan. His pain kept on increasing as if he would die of that pain. Ming Si looked at the bracelet in Xuan's hand and tried pulling it but it didn't come out. After a while the pain vanished.

"This bracelet. Why did you wear this?," asked Ming Si.

"I didn't. I just touched it," said Xuan holding his chest.

"Xuan, it must be a trap. Why did you touch this?," asked Ming Si with a worried look. Xuan sat on the chair there and said, "I thought to check the thing that why it was glowing. I never thought it would give me such immense pain."

"Xuan, I think it's something bad. We have to ask about this from someone," muttered Fei Ming Si with a worried look.

"Whom should I ask?," asked Xuan.

"There's someone who can help us," said Xuan and grabbed Xuan's arm, vanishing from there. They arrived at the demon place where a senior demon fellow checks the activities of all the demons sent to the human world to work.

Seeing the young master, the senior demon, Linyang bowed his head. Xuan told him it's not needed. Linyang told them to have a seat. They both sat on the sofa.

"What happened that you have to come here?," asked Linyang looking at Xuan Hao and Ming Si.

"Linyang, check this bracelet," said Xuan showing him his left hand. Linyang came near him and looked at the bracelet. After analyzing it he said, "Young master, there's magic done on this bracelet which was banned years ago in the demonic realm as it forces the person to fall in love with a person even if he refuses."

"What?," mumbled Xuan.
