EPISODE 5: THE CURSE OF LIFE

INSIDE, IN THE BEDROOM OF YŪTO AND AIKO-DAY

YŪTO (15)

Aaaaaaa. {yawn}

(Time passed and aiko became an eighteen-year-old girl (18) and yūto a fifteen-year-old girl (15) younger and taller than aiko, as in the Japanese village she has the best reputation. At dawn, yūto with a yawn dresses and goes to wash, where he is washed he looks in the mirror and takes in his hand a small pair of scissors. (Yūto begins to advance toward the table. Mother smiles when she sees him)

INDOOR, DINING ROOM INSIDE THE HOUSE-DAY

MOTHER

Come and eat with us yūto.

(Yūto responds with a smile)

YŪTO

Good Morning, mom. thank you.

(And sits down to eat. So there eating the morning meal, aiko looks at him with a smile persistently, yūto turns and looks at aiko. Aiko makes out that nothing is wrong while yūto looks at her with curiosity)

YŪTO

Something wrong, aiko?

(Aiko with a smile on her lips responds)

AIKO

Nothing, nothing, heheee.

(And he laughs mock laughter. Then when yūto comes back to continue eating, aiko with her two fingers tapping them with each other asks him)

AIKO

Yūto, you look very handsome today.

(Yūto smiles and with his eyes closed, answers)

YŪTO

Thanks aiko, but not as much as you.

(Aiko passes her left arm around yuto's neck and approaches his ear saying)

AIKO

Well, well...

(Yūto turns towards aiko with a look of Wonder)

YŪTO

What is it?

AIKO

Come on, Come on, you little brother tell me why you cut your hair?

(Yūto as he eats his morning meal answers)

YŪTO

I wanted to make a little change, that's all.

(Aiko again says in a sly tone)

AIKO

You don't fool me yūto, tell me the truth. You like none of the village, don't you?

(Yūto straightway spits the food he is chewing into his mouth. So with red face and in panic he shakes his hands in the negative)

YŪTO

No, no! What are you talking about, aiko, are you okay?!

AIKO

(Yūto gets up from the table to leave)

YŪTO

(While yūto tries to drive away aiko yells)

YŪTO

I had no reason to cut my hair! I just wanted to make a little change over myself, nothing's going on! LET GO OF ME AIKO, TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF ME AND DON'T STOP ME! I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR WORK, YOU KNOW?!

(Aiko continues to be held by yūto's leg)

AIKO

(Yūto keeps shouting at aiko to leave him but in vain. The mother who has been looking at them for some time smiles and continues to eat her morning meal with her eyes closed)

(The mother beckons with her hand for yūto to approach her as she tells him in a calm voice)

(Aiko and yūto suddenly calm down. Aiko leaves him and yūto says approaching the mother)

(As yūto approaches the mother, the mother Winks her eye beckoning him to leave. Yūto smiles and passes the mother running. Aiko meanwhile is stunned and then runs behind yūto. But the mother prevents her by tripping, aiko falls and furious cries)

AIKO

YŪTO! COME BACK! WE'RE NOT DONE YET, I'LL WAIT FOR YOU BACK!

(YŪTO running looking behind him with a smile and shouting)

YŪTO

THANKS MOM, I'LL OWE YOU.

(The mother smiles farewell to yūto, while aiko tries to get up. Yūto as he leaves stretches out his hand greeting mother and aiko, mother with a smile says)

MOTHER

(Aiko gets up from the floor and says with horrified gaze to the mother approaching her menacingly)

AIKO

Mother, it's time for your punishment hehe heehehee.

(The mother looks at aiko and with fear in her gaze starts to move backwards. Then again says aiko approaching the mother with Demon Gaze)

AIKO

Now yūto is not here to save you from your fate. So I can punish you any way I want.

(Mother thinks with sweat on her face)

MOTHER

I hadn't thought of that. Damn, I'm scared, I'm very scared, yūto where are you?

AIKO

(The friend again drinks a sip of saké (酒))

FRIEND

Becoming a demon hunter is not the simplest thing, yūto. (While walking she hears crying from a woman and a man trying to stop her)

OUTDOOR SPACE, BETWEEN THE ENTRANCE OF THE FOREST AND THE VILLAGE-AFTERNOON TO EVENING

(While YŪTO is about to dive into the dark forest, the man prevents him by stretching out his left hand in front of yūto. Then with a look of concern she answers him)

(Yūto lowering the man's hand saying with head held high)

YŪTO

(Yūto continues to run through the forest while it is getting dark for good)

(The shadow ignores him and moves away)

YŪTO

OUTDOOR SPACE, IN THE FOREST IN A CLEARING TO-NIGHT

I finally found you. It's Dangerous Here, Come on, let's go back to the village.

(So he approaches the girl and when she goes to grab the shoulder, it disappears. Yūto is surprised and anxious)

YŪTO

HUH?! What just happened? What's up?

(A demon appears behind yūto and makes a move with his long, pointed claws to kill him. Yūto turns his head and sees only the claws of the demon, he does not have time to defend himself. So the demon stabs him in the chest and then kicks him. Yūto from the kick received by the Demon is annihilated and strikes against a trunk of a tree, then falls down to the ground. yūto stands up with a few scratches on his face and blood dripping from his chest, then faces the demon. He is a demon with only a white color horn on his head, red color the irises of his eyes and black color has the (White) of the eye, black color is also his hair)

DEMON

Too late, hunter.

(The demon laughs fiendishly with his hands dripping blood. Yūto thinks with horror at his sight)

YŪTO

(The pupils of yūto's eyes twinkle, and he looks at the hands of this demon dripping blood. Yūto Bony, sweat dripping from his frightened gaze)

DEMON

(The demon sneers and licks his claws saying again)

DEMON

How can you act like you've seen something that scares you so much? Like you saw a ghost or a demon in front of you, hahahahahahaha!

(He laughs fiendishly again. Yūto takes a few steps back startled)

YŪTO

Did you... did you eat the girl?

DEMON

Hahahahahahaha yes! Mmm, I confess that the taste of her flesh and blood was very sweet, very delicious. But now it's your turn!

(The Demon makes up some shadows and appears behind YŪTO. YŪTO starts running through the forest scared)

DEMON

(The shadows follow yūto, but yūto knows how to use his fire. He destroys them in a surprising way by making little leaps and striking the shadows in the air with both his feet, and also with his hands. After a few minutes of fighting, yūto stops fighting the shadows and thinks)

YŪTO

He's strong. These shadows do all the work for him.

(After each attack of shadows appears behind them and injures him)

YŪTO

How can I beat him?

(Blood drips from yūto's face because of the scratches the Demon has made on him. Then the demon stops fighting)

DEMON

I'm surprised at your potential.

DEMON

But no matter how many shadows you destroy, I'll be here to create new ones!

(And he makes some very quick movements with his fingers, then rests his hand on the ground creating other shadows. Yūto avoids, surprisingly repels the attacks of the shadows and reciprocates them. Some time after, the shadows become more and more and yūto with tremendous effort tries to destroy them. But in vain the shadows have encircled him. It's all over! No, nothing's over yet!

(yūto yells)

YŪTO

FIRE CYCLE, AAH!

(He leans his hands on the ground and raises his feet, and with force twists his arms and his feet that put out the purple fire. (So the shadows attack again. Yūto destroys them and gets very close to hitting the demon, but the Demon is fast and yūto no longer has strength to continue. Then the demon passes to his claws through the belly of yūto. Yūto spurting blood from his mouth falls down to the ground and above him the demon laughs fiendishly)

DEMON

Too bad you won't see the people from your village burned and eaten. Oops, I missed it, because now it's happening! Hahahahahahaha!

(Yūto with the little power he has raises his head towards and looks at the demon)

YŪTO

Lies! That's not gonna happen!

DEMON

My innocent boy, you will see it in a moment where you are going. It's time to meet them.

(The demon tries to finish him by passing his claws through his head. At that moment yūto thinks of the promise he made to his sister, and in his mind come all the good times he spent with her. He thinks about the incident with the dog, the acquaintance with itachi, the walks they took by the river, when he saved aiko from the Demon, the hug that aiko gave him, this morning when aiko wanted to know why she got a haircut and finally the two fingers of the two children come together and promise that they will protect each other. Yūto closes his eyes, thinks)

YŪTO

All this isn't true, it's just that the Demon is trying to make me bend. But I will not bend. Why, why…

(And then a picture of aiko appears Who Laughs sweetly with her eyes closed as she says)

AIKO

(When yūto opens his eyes, his eyes change color and turn white. Meanwhile where the Demon goes to pass his claws through yūto's head, yūto catches his hand stopping him. The Demon is startled)

DEMON

(The Demon gets nervous and sweat starts rolling down his face. At the same time yūto stands up and with lowered head says:)

(He kicks the demon and tears out his hand. The Demon is launched meters away. Then yuto with the foot that surrounds him the purple fire spurts towards the demon and strikes him sending him away again meters away. The demon with blood and bruises on his face laughs. As he gets up he answers)

DEMON

You'll pay, you don't know who you're dealing with, you idiot! You don't know what power I possess. Well, you'll find out soon enough!

(Shadows start flying from the ground but yūto cool moves towards the demon fearing nothing. Yūto is filled with the purple fire on his hands and feet, whatever shadow approaches him makes an attack to kill him, but yūto repels her blows and destroys her. This sometimes happens until he stops a few meters near the demon and with his head raised, covered with blood and bruises says ironically)

YŪTO

Is that all you can do?

(The Demon is startled and steps back in fear while dripping sweat from his face. On this occasion he creates so many shadows that they attack yūto. Yūto stands still, does not move, and the shadows cover him like a tsunami. Yūto is covered by so many shadows that nothing is seen, only black shadows are seen. The demon smiles briefly saying relieved)

DEMON

You're an amateur. I did it, I beat you, you stupid useless worm. Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

(And he wipes the sweat on his forehead. Then the demon steps to flee but yūto's purple fire is seen and after a while the shadows melt and burn. Then yūto is seen doing the fire cycle move. The Demon is frightened by talking to himself)

DEMON

Damn it he's strong, what do I do to kill him, what?! No matter what I do, he's gonna find a way out, slipping like an eel. There's no escape, he's a monster! A DEMON!

DEMON

Impossible! I've never seen such power. Need to update-

(And where the demon thinks, yūto shoots like lightning and cuts off his head. Blood spurts out of the demon's body. Yūto throws aside his head while the body slowly evaporates in the form of dust. Yūto comes back, his white eyes returning to their normal purple color. The demon says with blood and bruises on his face, and at the same time evaporates)

DEMON

Hahahahaha you may have killed me, but I got you something more valuable

which you can't replace Hahahahahahahahahaha.

(Yūto nervously sweats and without a second thought starts running towards the village. Then the voice of the Demon is heard saying)

DEMON

Yes! Yes! YEAH, RUN, RUN! RUN, LITTLE HUNTER, RUN TO SEE THE HELL I CREATED HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

(As he runs towards the village, yūto thinks)

YŪTO

Surely that demon must have lied. He can't have attacked the village, since he's been with me all this time fighting. He was with me, he was with me, no, no, no he can't!

(While he gets very close to the village and sees nothing he cries)

YŪTO

I'm here! I came back mom, aiko-

(But Everything has been burned and bloodied. Yūto walks to his house unable to believe that everything around him has been destroyed. Not a single survivor. We see images like: people without heads, without arms, without legs, without heads and blood everywhere. After a short walk he arrives at his house and sees his mother and sister bloodied on the floor of the House. Mother is still breathing and yūto with anxiety responds. Then starts playing a beautiful, kinetic piano melody in backround)

OUTSIDE, IN THE YARD OF THE HOUSE - THE SUN RISES

YŪTO

Mother! I'll make you save yourself.

(Yūto upset attempts to lift her, but the mother does not want so responds with a smile on her lips)

MOTHER

Leave me yūto, it is certain that I will die. There is no way out of this, do not try unfairly. Let me die in peace.

(Yūto with tears in his eyes embraces the mother)

YŪTO

(Yūto with tears in his eyes grasps the mother's hand)
