"Yes and also, a cultivator and a magic user is the same. It just depends on how people prefers to call themselves"

"Eh? Really now?"

"Of course, Why would I lie to you? I'm a priest after all!" Ed said looking proud with his head held high and John even thought that he saw Ed's nose grew longer like Pinocchio.

"Che!" John clicked his tongue and thought "Is this guy really a priest? More a thug instead".

"Now, now. Don't look at me like that. Let me properly introduce myself again. I'm Ed, Ed Acosta, a Copper Rank Exorcist, 1st Rank Novice Realm and a Warrior Priest of the Gaia Church. I've been a member for a year and a half now".

"This place is the Gaia Church and you're a priest here!? I thought it was just one of those common church!" John was astounded when he heard this is actually a branch of the Church of Gaia.

Gaia Temple is one of the five factions or groups that were created due to the existence of the Exorcist Association and the Gaia Church which its affiliated with is an ancient that were founded even before all the existing and famous Religions today, in simple terms, it's the oldest church in existence. It's members are pretty much where people whose occupation in real life are priest mostly from the Gaia Church itself and exorcisms is their side jobs but it was John's first time hearing about the Warrior Priest as Faere never mentioned about it before.

There are also other groups within the association like the, Sword Temple with mostly Warriors/Martial Cultivators as their members. The Demon Slayers, which is the smallest group among them consisting of only members who gained the Demon Slayer Title, the Witch's Union where different kind of witches from around the world as members and there's the Monk Temple, where all members are consisted of Monks who follows the teachings of Buddha. Of course, these members are all especially invited by the Association and just because someone is a witch or a martial cultivator doesn't mean, they are gonna be able to join the Association and because one of the most important requirements is by having a righteous heart and strong willpower to protect themselves from the beguilements of Evil, so not just every d*ck and harry can join in.

"Wait..you're only at Copper Rank and from what I've heard only members who are Silver Ranks are qualified to join them even when you guys are members of the same church, you are still not qualified join the group unless..." John looked at the guy from head to toe and seriously thought "Don't tell me this priest here used some connections to join them?"

It's because John still remembered the talked between him and Faere before "There are people in the Association that you should always look out for, the Gaia Group, Sword Temple, Monk Temple, Witch's Union and the Demon Slayers. As I've had mentioned before, all members are all "good people" but what I meant by that is that they have never committed any crimes like murdering innocent people before".

"Wait, you're saying they have killed people before?"

"Of course, being an exorcist doesn't mean you won't encounter people who has evil intentions towards you, who would want to kill you for your things. Alright enough about this, you just need to know that you must avoid offending this people, they won't kill you but they would at least make it hard for you to do your missions especially when you unfortunately teams up with some of them when your rank is high enough".

Back at the present….

Ed instead smiled "Alright, it seems you don't know much of the inner workings of the Association and as your Senior of one year ahead of you, I ought to tell you these things. In the Association, there are two ways to join. One is a recommendation from an existing member or a personal from invitation".

John was about to say something when Ed immediately cut him off while shaking his finger at John said "Uh Uh, Let me finish first and then you can ask later"

"A recommendation is when someone like you or me recommends someone to the Association and then after that, the Association will send someone to inspect that person, if he/she is worth it to be nurtured and they bring that person back to the HQ to be inspected by the Heart Crystal, if they have a righteous heart and a strong willpower and at the same time it would also determine what path they should take in Arcane Arts.

John nodded in agreement as also heard about the Heart Crystal and the Arcane Arts, which people calls all things magical in the world.

"99% of recommendations always fails and if they do pass they will start as trainees at the headquarters for a year, following members like us who would go perform exorcisms, they practically acts like our assistants. I too had an assistant three months ago and he finally became an official exorcist but sadly he can only become one of those ordinary exorcist who can only use basic magic. He's from a small church by the way".

"While! Invitations are used by Silver Ranks and Higher. Silver Ranks has one Invitation Quota, Gold has two, Platinum has three with Legends having 10. It's an instant to becoming a member if someone is lucky enough to get their attention, sadly these people use it for their own family members so yeah...it's really rare that they would waste it on a outsider." Ed said and he stopped talking as he gulped down an entire glass of the lemon juice.

"Ahhh...so that's about it"

"So..any questions?" Ed asked.

"So, how did you become a member of the Gaia Temple?" John asked again as he didn't hear Ed mentioning about it.

"Ohh, forgot about that. It's because of my teacher being the Leader of the Temple and at the same time the 7th Elder of the Association. There are Nine Elders who are Platinum Ranks with the Hall Master being the only Legend Rank Exorcist. I heard she's already a 5th Rank Witch Saint, only a step away to becoming a Transcender!" Ed yelled in excitement because a Transcender have never appeared for a very long time now and someone is already near to becoming one!

John's eyes bulged in shocked, not expecting someone is already at the Saint Realm! And it took a long time for him to process it before his eyes became calm and looked at Ed and said "Now then, why don't we talk about the mission this time?"

"Exactly! I was just thinking about it!" Ed smiled joyfully.
