Chapter 16

Zero's POV

Death led the way out of the kitchen and then to the same spot I was standing before everything began. The center of the halls.

When I got there Death disappeared and I could see that his hall has turned to normal and there was a green tick above it. Same thing with the first hall I entered. The White and Black halls were cleared. Now... Two more left.

What is left to do is to choose which one. I have two more days to finish this or I am in big trouble.

I stood there, waiting for something to call out to me and tell me which path to choose. Nothing came but a wave of the hit from the red hall which is what pulled me to it. The sound of burning flames and the heavy smell of sweat is pouring strongly out of the hall. No wonder I am Lucifer's son.

I start to walk towards the red hall and stop at the entrance. There was a stop sign.

I look around and find nothing suspicious so I moved on. The hall, as expected, was red but as I walked further it started to reshape and change color. After a while I still walk into the hall but slowly it became bigger and bigger and soon the hall itself changed material. From concrete to iron. It also changed color to dark gray. As I kept walking, putting my hand on the next sword I am about to use, I saw another door.

I stop and put my hand on the handle and pulled it down but the door didn't budge.

Suddenly, there was a siren and a red light showed up ,above my head, out of the wall. A red emergency lamp was placed there.

Suddenly, A computer-like voice sounded through the walls of the hall which became a room. I think.

"Warning! Warning! An intruder has come! Everyone get to positions!" The computer voice yelled then disappeared.

I waited for the door to open but nothing. A couple of minutes later I was still waiting but I was out of patience.

"THAT'S IT!" I yelled before kicking the door open and enter a huge space with.... Minions?

My mouth was hanging open in shock. "What the hell is this?" I asked, surprised of this hall's behavior. "What am I suppose to do here? Just walk out of the door and leave?" I asked myself.

They were partying. Those small, yellow, banana lovers were having a party and singing. Literally.

Until their boss came. He stopped the party, temporary, and borrowed two minions but that didn't stop them from partying.

I walked further into the lab and a couple of minions bumped into me. I even stepped on one or two. They were so small.

As I walk through each and each one of them, they, the minions, smiled at me. Some even hugged me then continued with their partying until everything is burnt by the hit of the flames. The same flames which pulled me into this place.

The minions started the melt and the laboratory lost its shape. It was all scrambled down and melted. The lab started to reshape itself to a bigger shape and dark gray color has returned to the color which was covering it before. Red.

I tried to hold back a scream and tears as the faces of the sweet and happy creatures were melted. Their blood was yellow and their skin started to- Wait! Do minions have blood in the first place? I mean... it's an animation.. Then everything disappeared and the hall was back to it's real shape but the color red is still covering it.

"Death had taught you well" A deep and manly voice said calmly from somewhere.

"What do you mean?" I asked, curious but also interested to find the demon's location.

"Didn't he work with illusions with you?" He asked as I found his location.

"Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. come down and find out" I provoked.

"I will do just that but first-" His voice whispered in my ear. I turn sharply but too late to dodge his attack. In an instant I found myself laying on the floor with blood dropping from my mouth. My hand held tightly to the wound in my stomach. "-You should be the one to find out"

"To find out what?" I asked with gritted teeth.

"How pathetic and weak you really are" He said before his head grew bigger then exploded together with his body and instantly something else, something more dangerous, came out of it.

"A-Akuma?" I haven't seen those in a long time. I thought they were gone for good but I guess they all went to hell. "Which level are you?" I asked.

Now you wonder why the hack should I care about his level. I'll tell you why because there are at least 5 different Akuma and they all differ in strength. (Akuma= Demons in Japanese. From the anime: D-Gray Man. If you watched it than you know what I am talking about) Each level is stronger than the one before it. I have to know because the level 5 Akuma is too strong for me.

"Level 3" It answered.

"I am wasting time here. Let's finish this" I said before standing up with a sigh.

"Not so fast!" He yelled before he flew towards me. Before he reached me I put my arm in front of his head and stop him with one finger on his forehead. Like a child.

He gasped then tried to fly back. Tried.. But I didn't let him as I grabbed those weird cobwebs- wings or whatever and tear them apart.

The Akuma screamed in pain and fell to the floor. I drew the Demon-Slayer out (The Sword Billow) and cut his head off.

The hall brightened up and cleared itself. The bloody color was gone and instead the color yellow was covering it.

"You have 3 minutes before the self destruction" The computer voice yelled again and I sprint out of the hall. When I came out the hall disappeared completely like he wasn't there in the first place..

"Weird" I said before my world became dark and I fell to the arms of a man.

"Good job son." Lucifer's voice whispered as I fell deep into darkness.

My body felt like it was floating in the air, in a long and dark tunnel until I saw light not to far from me.

I arrived to the entrance and saw a hall. The last hall. The gray hall.

"Welcome to the gray hall." A voice echoed through the long tunnel and immediately I went through the light and fell to the solid ground.

I tried to stand up but I couldn't move.

I tilt my head slowly, because of the ache, and saw blood from my left side. It feels like my rips are broken and the wound in my stomach hasn't healed either.

My vision became blurry and black spots appeared in my blurry vision.

Before I black-out I saw white shoes in front of my face then someone patted me in the head.

"Welcome, my prince" The soft voice said before my world fell to darkness and my body felt numb.
