Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy tail or any of the characters from the series except my own MC. This is just a fan-fic I'm doing for fun to kill some time. Might have some romance in the story, however there will be no harem and no lemons. So sorry in advance if that's what you're looking for. P.s. I don't own the image or anything related to WOW and will remove it if I am required to do so.

The Capital

Arriving at the E-Fairy-Tail building didn't garner the shock Alex was hoping for. All the members of the guild were just waiting patiently for them to land. 'Damn. Mira musta told them all it was us and what to expect. Oh well.' Alex thought with slight amusement. He had hoped to see them all in confusion, running around panicking and wondering if they were going to be attacked.

"Flying sure is a beautiful and fun way to travel", Lucy Ashley said to herself. She had been marveling at the landscape of her world since they took off.

"I know right! me and my little buddy fly all the time. Nothing beats it!" Natsu said happily. He and Gajeel were busy playing 'shot for shot' in the back. (A/N. 'Shot for Shot' is a game played by idiots where they willingly punch each other in the same spot over and over. It usually requires you to hit the same arm, usually the shoulder, and use that same arm to do the punching. Whoever can last the longest, wins.)

"Yeah, yeah! Keep rubbing it in Salamander. One day I'll have my own cat and it will be way faster than yours!" Gajeel said, right before 'accidentally' missing Natsu's shoulder and punching him in the face. "Cheater!" Natsu yelled as they devolved into a small brawl.

"I know what you mean. The view from the sky is one of my favorite things in the world. There are so many natural wonders to see", Wendy said to Lucy A.

"Would be a little better if it was a LITTLE QUIETER!" Lucy Heartfilia said, shouting the last at Natsu and Gajeel.

Alex had been expertly ignoring them all. If you looked closely you could see small objects in his ears. He was listening to a 'hard rock' playlist he had added to his music player. It helped pass the time while keeping his sanity alive. Spending too much time cramped in a vehicle with multiple dragon-slayers was always a recipe for disaster.

As they were coming in to land, Alex quickly made a small PA system within the plane. "Attention folks, this is your Captain speaking. We have reached our destination. If you glance out the left side of the vehicle you will see a group of 'super-fans' waiting to greet you. Must be nice to be famous! If you could all leave the vehicle in an orderly fashion we can assure no injuries on this trip. Thankyou for flying 'Air-Alexander', we hope to see you again in the future!" he said over the PA.

Everyone was silently staring at Alex as if he had gone insane. He simply smiled at them and Wendy's laughter broke the silence, followed by all the others. They quickly left the plane to go greet E-Fairytail.

The group chatted for a little while. Lucy Ashley told her guild of the Royal Captains being defeated and tried to get them to rally with earth-land fairy tail in their assault of the capital. Alex was quick to shut her down though, telling her they could try to assist the regular folks around the city but his group was going to be going in quietly. The easiest way to eliminate civilian casualties was to take out only those involved.

They argued about it for a little while, but eventually accepted that Alex wasn't going to budge on this. They said their goodbyes and Alex's group loaded back up, this time taking Lisanna with them. As they flew towards the capital, Alex created two 'airplane headsets' so he and Mira could chat quietly and listen to music without being interrupted by the bickering children in the back. The flight was a pleasant thing and they discussed the landscape as well as the plan of attack against the capital.

Alex told her they would be going in under his stealth domain and there was multiple things they needed to find before acting. According to his pillaged memories, from the captains, the majority of the guild was trapped in a lacrima on one of the floating islands. They had also broken a big piece off of it, that was their first target. Alex told her how Dragon-slayer magic was apparently special in this world and was the key to changing the lacrima back into people. He hadn't gotten this from the captains, but couldn't exactly tell them their world was a story.

From their vantage in the sky, Alex could see both the giant lacrima and Extalia floating above the capital. He studied the two islands carefully from a distance before setting his sights on the capital itself. It was a fortress made of dark stone, multiple walls surrounded a towering keep with watch towers placed throughout the city. The walls and city were tiered, rising in elevation until it reached the keep in the center of the city. The palace towered so high above the rest of the city that it seemed unassailable.

"This ruler sure thinks highly of himself doesn't he?" Alex muttered to Mira. She only nodded. Mira had gone quiet when Alex pointed out the two islands that made up their friends and the Exceeds. She already knew of the crown's plan to smash both islands together and seeing it in person made it seem more real.

He brought the plane down well outside of the capital and with none of his usual antics. They had to focus as lives were on the line.

"Okay!" Alex said, getting everyone's attention. "We will be going in under my stealth domain. That means you need to stay close and not try running off to do your own thing. Looking at you Natsu and Happy!" Alex said, singling out the troublemakers. "There is a piece of the lacrima in the main square of the second level in the city. That will be our first target before we make our way into the palace. Once we get whoever is in the lacrima back out and up to speed we will attack the palace. You all will cause havoc and act as a distraction. I will find this thing called 'the dragon chain cannon'. It is apparently vital to their plans and I'm going to destroy it. Once it's destroyed we can either make our way to the big lacrima to free the rest of the guild or find a spell system called 'Anima'. It was what brought us all into this world, so it might be able to send us back", Alex explained. He hadn't let Natsu protest and needed them all to understand the seriousness of the situation.

Seeing the solemn but determined looks of his friends, Alex smiled. He wrapped them up in his domain and they made their way towards the gates of the city. They could all see each other so they wouldn't get separated and Alex had given each of them one of the earpieces that he and Mira had used before so they could communicate.

It took some time for a group their size to make it into the inner city without running into anyone, but they eventually stood before a big lacrima. Everyone but Alex thought it would be holding multiple tens of the members of the guild based on it's size alone and they thought he was crazy when he said he could only sense the magic of Erza and Gray. He warned them that things might get a little chaotic when the lacrima disappeared and to be on guard.

Walking up to the lacrima, Alex put his hands on it before sending a pulse of magic through it. After analyzing it for a few moments he undid the magic keeping it a lacrima. It shone brightly, startling everyone that had come out to view it and scaring the guards. The lacrima then shrunk into the bodies of two people, greatly confusing the masses that had no idea how the lacrimas were made. When the two bodies stood up, they looked around at the crowd in confusion before disappearing from view.

"Yo!"Alex, Natsu, and Gajeel greeted them at the same time. The group moved off to the side and observed the chaos as they caught Erza and Gray up to speed. Like he had expected, the two were furious. They instantly agreed to his plan, not even caring that they would essentially just be a distraction.

When they got to the palace, Alex made sure to tell everyone the kind of resistance they should expect from the remaining guards and captains. He even told them their descriptions and the types of abilities they had. Though this led him to telling of the captains he and Mira had already beaten before 'mind raping' them for the information. Alex asked Mira if she wanted to join him on his search but she declined. She wanted to be part of the chaos while watching Lisanna's back. Alex smiled and gave her a quick kiss before he headed off in the direction he knew the cannon and one other threat to be.

When he had dropped his domain, chaos erupted in the castle and it all started with a roar of fury from Natsu. They had been set upon right away by the palace guards. It only took the guards a couple seconds to realize they were monstrously outmatched and quickly sought the assistance of the remaining captains. The atmosphere in the palace was tense, the opponents were very powerful with strange magic. To make matters worse for the royal guards, two of their captains were long past due to return to the capital, their fates unknown.

Alex first made his way to the vault that 'Dorma Anim' was kept in. Alex wanted to steal this mecha that was completely immune to every magic except dragon-slayer magic. He wanted to study it and see if he could replicate the material used, but most importantly, he didn't want the crazy king to use it. The guy was so full of himself that he didn't even consider the damage he was causing to his own city and civilians when he was dropping the floating islands on them as they lost their magic.

He found the vault and broke in easily enough. Having a mental map of the place from his stolen memories made navigating the palace a simple thing. Entering the vault was also easy, instead of trying to go through the solid steel door that was guarded, he simply tunneled a hole through one of the walls that was out of view from the guards. From there, he made short work of the chains holding the sealed metallic 'egg' and stored it in his {Inventory}.

Done with this vault, he made his way toward the lab of the creepy little scientist. While it wasn't the place where the dragon cannon was located, it was where the energy gathered for it was collected. If he could destroy the magic formation it would completely render the cannon inoperable. He wouldn't even need to try finding the key or breaking into the room. "Smarter, not harder", he mumbled as he ran. Alex could hear the chaos his friends were causing through the palace and before he knew it he was sporting a wide manic smile.

I am back! As promised, the story hasn't been dropped. I have lost a little motivation for this story, but not enough to stop. I did start a multi-verse bogus story as a way to keep myself motivated to write, but it's incredibly violent and not at all 'family friendly', so I doubt it will be posted. Anyways!

Enjoy.
