After Alex was done speculating on Wendy and Carla's progress, he remembered his own status and decided to check it.

'Honestly, don't know why I keep forgetting about this thing, probably because it don't do anything haha' Alex thought as he pulled up his status.

To see his progress in written form always made him smile, it was not necessary to look at his status to know he progressed but it did help show how much.

It also let him know when he needed to change how he used one of his skills, {Stealth} had once again reached a "bottleneck".

He didn't know when it had stopped increasing but figured he had got all the levels it could give him from only using the aura aspect of it.

{Rapid Regeneration} was also stagnating as he wasn't hurting himself these past few months.

'It probably only leveled after the nirvana incident' he thought to himself as he kept going through the page.

{Fel-Fire} also had a massive spike after the nirvana incident, but he hadn't used it much since then.

{Mana Manipulation} was also being as stubborn as ever but he couldn't complain.

The skill level never seemed to restrict him on what he could do so he cared little.

{Inventory} was not special and still just continued to rise with use.

He didn't use full {Metamorphosis} since nirvana but used his wings all the time while training in the sky with the girls.

All in all, he was happy with his progress.

'Officially joined the ranks of true S-class' Alex thought as he mentally fist pumped.

He was at that rank in both mana and body so is actual strength would probably be higher.

"I'm not actually sure how that aspect truly works as I don't have any reference or examples" Alex muttered under his breath.

Once done with his status he started looking around his cave home, it was beautifully decorated (thanks to Carla and Wendy of course) and had a very homely feel.

He knew they were nearing a time when they would have to leave it, he had planned to join Fairy Tail soon.

He wanted to start exploring the world again and knew it would be very dangerous for Wendy and Carla, so he wouldn't take them if he didn't have to.

He also wanted them to be safe and didn't want to have to worry about them on his travels.

Deciding it was time to have the talk about future plans with them he went to call them from the pool.

Carla and Wendy joined him about an hour later after they had cleaned up and changed, sitting down and taking a glass of tea he offered they waited patiently for him to start the conversation.

"Listen Girls, we need to discuss the future" Alex started.

Both girls tensed up at the unexpected seriousness in his voice.

"I know you girls aren't dumb and have probably already had discussions about the future amongst yourself. There isn't much life to be had in a cave after all" Alex said with a small chuckle.

"I Have taught you everything I can and you both have exceeded my expectations with your progress, but I think it is time to take the next step in our journeys.

My plan as of right now is to head to Magnolia and the magic guild there, Fairy Tail.

It is considered the strongest guild in Fiore and is said to treat its members like family" Alex said in a serious tone.

"There is no need to cry, I was planning on taking you both with me, if you wanted too that is" he said quickly as he noticed tears start forming in Wendy's eyes.

"Oh.. I thought you were going to abandon us" she said a little sheepishly.

"I would never do that willingly" Alex countered.

"If we do get accepted into the guild I cannot promise we will be able to take jobs together all the time, but you will always be able to rely on me" he followed up.

"What do you mean "if"? " Carla asked, "Is there a chance we will get turned away?".

"Of course" Alex answered, "from my knowledge there is some form of test and guilds don't just accept members without completing it".

"To think we could end up getting turned away" Wendy chimed in.

"That is very unlikely" Alex started, "I heard their master is a very caring old man who sees the members as his children, I cannot see him turn away someone like you. Especially not when you are as strong as you are" He said with a smile to the fidgeting young girl.

"You think I am strong?" Wendy asked shyly.

"Of course!" Alex replied cheerfully, "I'm willing to bet that with your magic it would put you closer to the top of their guild than the bottom. Dragon Slayer magic is really strong. You also haven't been slacking on your training" He said, praising the child.

For most of the conversation, Carla had remained silent.

She didn't appear to be surprised so Alex had figured she had probably seen this coming with her magic.

Giving the cat a glance, she nodded to him as if she knew what he was going to ask, confirming his suspicions.

The topic quickly changed from Fairy Tail to what they were going to pack for the trip.

Alex had told them to take whatever they wanted as they now both had storage items and could easily take everything.

He told them to leave their beds and stuff that made it a home in case they were ever in the area, they could camp here.

He also gave them an item that would always allow them to find it from anywhere and acted as the key to the entrance as well.

They were very happy with the gesture as they now always had a "home" they could return too if anything went wrong.

After they finished packing up their gear and locking up the cave they were about to head out when Alex remembered something "Hold up a second" he called out.

Pulling out two objects from his {Inventory} he offered them too them.

"This is a basic 'travel kit' I created for you a while back, but forgot to give them to you as it was never needed." Alex said.

"When placed on the ground and fed by your mana it will open up into a tent, the whole thing is regulated with magic so it should be comfortable in all weather conditions" He finished with a smile.

"Thank you soo much!" "Thank you" Wendy and Carla said respectively.

"Not a problem, keep them in your storage devices because unlike the storage device, these can be used by anyone with magic. I would hate for someone's greed to get you injured" He replied with a smile.

Making an object respond to only a single wizards magic was a lot more time consuming than he wanted to spend on a simple tent.

Though it was simple, the item was amazing. He had no doubt it could spark someone's greed.

The three headed towards Magnolia, Originally he wanted to go to Hargeon and ride the train but thought it would be faster to just fly.

Wendy was also very proficient in using her wind to move around at high speeds in the air with her boots and could even use it to fly on her own for a short time.

She had to rely on the boots to be able to keep up to Alex and Carla still, but knew she would eventually get good enough with her wind to keep up on her own.

They made really good time and quickly found the train tracks, instead of chancing it and getting lost they simply followed the tracks to Magnolia.

When the city came into view, they all stopped just to take in the sight.

It was beautiful with it somewhat medieval western looking buildings and flowers growing all over the place.

He could also see two buildings that towered over the rest, they were the Kardia Cathedral and FairyTail Guildhall.

There wasn't any guards walking down the roads or watching the entrance to the city and Alex figured it probably had to do with the fact that the city was home to Fairy Tail.

Wanting to eat someone else's cooking and not having any more Jewel, Alex told the girls they needed to find a magic shop to sell some things.

It was later in the day anyway so he figured they could get a room at a local inn and visit the guild tomorrow.

With a goal set and stomachs rumbling they set off into the city.
