23 Guild Members

When Alex left the Council tower he wasted no time and leapt into the air, he made quick time back to Magnolia and flew straight to the guildhall.

He wasn't worried about people panicking as they were quite used to the eccentricities of wizards here.

They have seen all sorts of strange magics over the years.

Arriving back at the guild hall he was met with an over excited Wendy who came running out and tried tackling him in a hug.

"How did it go!" she called out, still excited.

Looking up Alex saw Carla floating towards them so he spoke to both at the same time.

"Everything went very well, I was never in any trouble and they even tried making me a 'Wizard Saint' " Alex said in an amused tone.

"WOW! I always knew you were strong, but to think they would make you a wizard saint! That is quite impressive" Carla said in an awed tone, she was clearly impressed.

The conversation did not escape the eavesdropping guild members and a very loud boy's shout could be heard

"You're strong enough to be a wizard saint!? Do you think you could beat Gramps!? Let's fight!" He shouted out all at once.

Turning his head he was met with a pink haired young man with a white scaly looking scarf around his neck.

He currently had his hand covered in fire and was jumping towards Alex with the clear intention to fight.

Alex didn't react as he could see a Giant palm descending from the top floor, he knew it would reach Natsu before he reached him.

Watching Natsu get squashed like a bug was a very amusing sight and Alex couldn't help but chuckle.

Wendy was instantly concerned but calmed down when the master spoke up. "Looks like everything went well, please come to my office Alexander".

"Yes Master Makarov" Alex replied before heading up the stairs.

Entering the office, Makarov gestured to the chair in front and asked Alex to go through his meeting with the council.

He was shocked to hear they tried making him a 'Wizard Saint' and straight up laughed at his refusal.

Makarov didn't ask why he refused, he didn't need too.

If he was in Alex's position he would have done the same.

After they were done their meeting Makarov led Alex back down stairs.

"Where do you want your guild mark, and in what color?" He asked as they got to the bar.

Picking up a magical stamp he turned to Alex.

"Left shoulder should be fine, and in green" was Alex's casual reply.

The process was quick and Makarov welcomed him before clearing his throat and drawing everyone's attention to him.

"Listen up you hooligans!" Makarov started. "We are welcoming three new members to the guild today, please give a warm Fairy Tail welcome, to Alexander, Wendy and Carla!" Makarov said in a loud cheerful voice.

There was a loud collective cheer as the guild members welcomed them to the guild.

"Now! Let's PARTY!!" Makarov shouted, quickly turning the guild hall into chaos.

As everyone started cheering and drinking, a few people approached the trio.

"Welcome to the guild officially this time Alexander, I'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier when we met. My name is Mirajane Strauss, please call me Mira" said the beautiful white haired girl.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Mira, I am Alexander Black, please call me Alex. This his my little sister Wendy Marvel and her partner Carla" Alex said, introducing the 3 of them.

He had no doubts that Wendy and Carla had already been introduced but it still felt right to do it officially.

"My name is Macao Conbolt and this smoking joker next to me is Wakaba Mine" Said an older dark haired man with a long white trench coat as he introduced himself and his companion.

"Heya!" Wakaba said as a greeting, he was an older man as well with an odd hairstyle, he had a big smile that seemed permanent and was smoking a cigarette.

"And I'm Natsu, this is my partner Happy" Natsu said loudly while introducing a little blue cat.

"Pretty..." was the only reply they got out of Happy. He was staring openly at Carla with a slightly dazed look.

"Heh, looks like you got an admirer Carla" Alex said with a smirk. "Hmph! He is an uncultured tom-cat" Carla said turning away from Happy.

"Alex! Fight me!" Natsu shouted after introductions were done.

"And why should I do that?" Alex asked with an amused smile.

"Because I heard you beat Laxus, and I want to see how strong you are!" Natsu replied.

"Can you beat Laxus?" Alex asked, already knowing the answer.

This brought Natsu up short but it didn't last long.

"Not yet, But one day I will! And until then I'll beat you!" Natsu replied with his usual battle maniac grin.

"I'll tell you what. If you can beat Wendy here in a show of pure magic power, I will give you your fight" Alex said with a small smile.

His words had brought the entire guild to silence as there was more people listening in to their conversation than he had thought.

"Are you sure about that? Natsu is ranked in the top 10 of the guild" Mira asked slightly worried for Wendy, but also intrigued.

"Yes I am sure, It will simply be a show of power and not a fight. Wendy is mostly a support wizard after all" Alex replied still smiling.

He knew Wendy had way more magic then she did in the canon and thought she had a good chance of beating Natsu in a show of power.

He very much doubted she could actually beat him in a fight though as Natsu was a lost cause battle maniac, with way more experience.

"What kind of magic does Wendy use?" Macao asked.

Wendy turned to Alex and he nodded to her, "I use healing and support magic. Actually I am a Sky Dragon Slayer!" Wendy said happily.

Silence...

The entire guild was completely silent, you couldn't even hear anyone breath.

"Did I say something wrong?" Wendy asked in a small voice.

As if a damn had been broke the guild erupted into cheers and exclamations of 'we have another one' and 'That's Awesome!'.

Natsu who had been unnaturally quiet since Alex challenged him to fight Wendy finally snapped out of it.

He started barraging Wendy with questions about dragons and how she learned her magic.

It took a while for the guild to calm back down after figuring out Wendy's magic type and to finish with their questions too her.

Alex just let it all happen and watched in amusement off too the side with Mira.

He had no intention of stopping the members from interacting with Wendy and in fact wanted to encourage it.

"What kind of magic do you practice Alex?" Mira asked him quietly.

"I use Slayer magic as my primary magic but I have a few other magic types also" he replied.

He didn't have any reason to hide his magics or lie if he truly wanted to see Fairy Tail as his family.

"You're a Dragon Slayer too!?" Mira asked, so surprised that she got the attention of the entire guild.

Alex looked around the again silent guildhall before chuckling softly and saying "No, I am different type of slayer. My magic is called Demon Slayer magic" He said to the whole guild.

"Never heard of Demon slayer magic" Someone in the crowd spoke out.

"It is almost exactly like Dragon Slayer magic except it is designed to kill beings of Darkness and Demons instead of dragons" Alex replied to the area the voice came from.

"What element do you use?" Natsu asked excitedly.

"I am a Fire Demon slayer" Alex said simply. "Lets See whos flame is more powerful! Dragon or Demon!" came the predictable response from Natsu.

"I will tell you straight up that mine is stronger, I can easily eat your flames but you won't be able to eat mine" Alex said with a smirk.

"Now I'm all fired UP!" Natsu shouted, he didn't believe Alex at all.

Instead of waiting for a response from Alex, Natsu attacked.

Alex easily avoided Natsu's attack and smacked the back of his head using just physical strength.

Natsu had over extended his punch and was off balance when Alex hit him, the attack smashed him into the ground even breaking some of the floor boards.

The rest of the guild members just laughed at this, they all heard of or seen Alex's fight with Laxus and knew he was strong.

"I already told you Natsu, If you wanna fight me you have to beat Wendy first" Alex said with a smirk.

"But I don't wanna fight!" Wendy piped up giving Alex puppy eyes.

Alex just chuckles with the rest of the guild at her antics and told her it wasn't an actual fight, it would just be the show of strength they talked about earlier.

Everyone moved out to the back of the guild onto the Lake beach so they could do their demonstration.

Even the master moved outside too watch, he was clearly very interested to see what this new Dragon slayer could do.

Natsu was just getting more fired up at the thought of a challenge and was practically vibrating.

Wendy was still a little unsure but if Alex had faith in her, she would give her all.

"You can do it child" Carla said supporting her.

"Go Natsu! You can do this" Happy cheered, supporting Natsu.

"Thanks little buddy, I'm All Fired UP!" Natsu said with a giant smile.

"Alright, the rules are very simple" Alex started.

"You both will get 20 seconds to charge all the magic you can into a breath attack and release it over the lake. The rest of us will be judges with the Master having the final say" He finished.

"If your attacks are close in strength, we will do more than 1 round. You will each take turns, the best 2 out of 3 will be victorious." Makarov said over the crowd, he too was getting right into this little competition.

"I'll go first!" Natsu shouted as he ran to the edge of the lake.

When the 20 seconds was almost up, everyone could feel the magic radiating off Natsu.

Alex was inwardly impressed but knew Wendy could match him.

"Fire Dragon ROAR!" Natsu called out as his magic was unleashed.

His attack was spectacular and exactly what Alex was expecting, there was a round of applause as Natsu walked back to the group.

"Now it's your turn Wendy!" Natsu said happily, he was clearly excited to be competing with someone.

"Uh.. Um Okay" Wendy said nervously as she took his spot.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll do great!" Natsu called to her, they may be competing but she was a member of the guild and a fellow Dragon Slayer he had faith in her despite not knowing her for long.

"Thank you!" Wendy said happily, Natsu's words clearly having an affect.

When Wendy charged her power and was reaching the 20 second mark, everyone but Alex and Carla were stunned.

This little girl actually had the same magic power as Natsu!

One of the strongest members of the guild.

"Sky Dragon ROAR!" Wendy yelled out over the water.

From where Makarov, Mira and Alex were standing both attacks looked and felt the same as powerful.

"What have you been feeding that girl to make her so strong?" Makarov asked in good humor.

"Haha, It was her own hard work that got her this far" Alex replied proudly.

"She is very impressive!" Mira commented honestly.

The master called out that they had to do it 2 more times as it was too close to tell.

After the third time they still didn't have a winner so Natsu just challenged her to a fight.

Alex quickly intervened when Wendy didn't want to fight.

He told Natsu that he had to become stronger before Alex would fight him seriously.

Natsu didn't like that and again tried to hit Alex, earning him a mouthful of sand this time instead of floorboards.

"What's that pink hared freak yelling about this time!?" an annoyed voice came from the guild.

"WHO'D YOU CALL A FREAK? YOU STRIPPER!!" Natsu yelled before running at the half naked boy that came out of the guild.

They quickly started a brawl while calling each other lame insults.

Everyone started laughing at the duo and Mira walked up to Alex, Wendy and Carla.

"That is Gray Fullbuster, He is an Ice-Make Wizard and also one of the stronger mages in the guild. Him and Natsu have a rivalry so this is very common" She said with a small chuckle.

"Why isn't he wearing clothes?" Carla asked.

"Is he some kind of pervert?" Wendy asked innocently.

Mira started chuckling harder so Alex answered "It probably has more to do with his magic than being a perv. But you never know" He said with a smirk.

"I'm not a pervert!" Gray yelled having heard the conversation.

"Could have fooled me, ya pervy flasher!" Natsu yelled, starting the fight all over again.

"If the guild is always like this, its going to be exhausting!" Carla said as she sighed tiredly.

"Yeah, but at least it won't be boring!" Wendy said with a smile as they started to move back into the guild hall.

"It never is!" Mira said in agreement.
