Feng Hei Lang gasped. "Wow...that's beautiful!"
Xue smirked. "Of course it is! It is flexible, deadly, and beautiful at the same time! It would be very helpful for anyone to have this skill! Attach a thread to the dagger, and I'll show you how to control it."
Feng Hei Lang used [Shadow Manipulation] to attach a dark thread. She lifted a hand up to move the dagger, but it just clattered to the ground. "Uh...Master! How do you keep the momentum of it moving through the air?"
Xue laughed at her attempt. "You can't just use hand and arm movements! You also need to use some spiritual energy! Close your eyes and try to feel it circulating in your body. It replenishes over time, so don't worry about using too much."
Feng Hei Lang closed her eyes and felt a cold stream going through her body. It circled all the way from her toes to her head. 'It's quite refreshing...' A beep awoke her from her session.

Feng Hei Lang pulled up her stat window and looked at the spiritual energy part.

She frowned at the small number. 'Hmm...I think it increases by drinking the blood or eating the flesh of foxes and humans. I think this is where the demon fox part comes in...' Feng Hei Lang sighed.
Xue annoyedly poked her. "Student Hei Lang! Did you feel it or not? If you did, try moving the dagger with it!"
Feng Hei Lang nodded. "Yes, Master."
She used her arm to move the dagger forward, but this time, she tried pushing the cold stream energy out of herself. Instantly, the room became dark and an explosion sounded.
Feng Hei Lang screamed in surprise. "AHHHH!"
Xue immediately wrapped her arms around her and put up a barrier. A few moments afterwards, the darkness faded.
The office came back in view again, and everything was shattered. Papers were everywhere, the bookshelf fell onto the floor, and his desk was cut in half.
Exactly at that moment, Headmaster Zhong Qiu entered, carrying a cup of tea. He saw the mess in his office, and dropped the cup, his jaw hitting the ground.

Feng Hei Lang dipped her head down, looking at the floor. 'I'm so DEAD!'
Headmaster Zhong Qiu and Xue was busy repairing and cleaning everything up on the floor. They finally finished and they both sighed. Xue frowned. "Just how in the world did you get your spiritual energy out?"
Feng Hei Lang checked her spiritual energy stat.
[Spiritual Energy: 54/200]
She shrunk down towards the ground even farther. "I...I pushed it out. Like I was shoving something."
Headmaster Zhong Qiu rubbed the bridge of his nose. "No wonder...Don't ever do that again. When you push out spiritual energy like that, it causes an explosion. You must do it carefully! Master, did you not teach her?"
Xue looked away and whistled. "I just wanted to see how she would do! Well, try again, this time, only bring out a little bit. Treat it like a bowl. You don't want to splash it all out. Take an eyedropper and form a thin line of it to help move the dagger."
Feng Hei Lang brought the dagger out in front of her and started moving it once more. 'I just need to take a small bit of my spiritual energy out...' She focused and tried to take a tiny bit of it out. Conjuring it in front of her, a small orb of black appeared in front of her.
Xue facepalmed and whacked her on the back of the head with the fan. Immediately, the orb exploded again.

Feng Hei Lang was once again looking down at the floor with Headmaster Zhong Qiu and Xue glaring at her.
Xue looked like she was going to explode. "I didn't say manifest the spiritual energy! How are you supposed to push the dagger like that? Treat it like telekinesis! It's also very dangerous to bring that much out in a physical form! It could explode like it did just now! And your control over spiritual energy is very weak! Come back after strengthening it!"
Headmaster Zhong Qiu nodded. "I agree. Student Hei Lang, please come back to my office once you strengthen your spiritual energy control."
Feng Hei Lang sighed. "Master, how do I strengthen it?"
Xue frowned. "Try to bring out a little of it, and keep it by your side in a physical form. Hold it there while attending class. It would help you learn how to control it, whilst doing other things. Now go on out, shoo shoo! I have things to discuss with Student Zhong Qiu!"
Feng Hei Lang bowed. "Yes, Master. Goodbye Headmaster Zhong Qiu."
She quickly exited the room and sighed again. 'Okay, just manifest a tiny bit and hold it there.' Feng Hei Lang brought out a small drop of spiritual energy and swirled it around her finger. 'I just need to hold it there and hopefully not have it explode.'
Feng Hei Lang walked out of the tower and it exploded, creating a small poof of black smoke. She sighed and created it once more. 'Argh! It's so distracting!' She started walking towards the dorms when it exploded once more.
Feng Hei Lang gritted her teeth and formed another one. A fox in human form walked past her, hitting her arm. It exploded once more.
The boy looked back and dipped his head. "My apologies."
She almost exploded the new spiritual energy ball when he talked to her. 'OH MY GAWD! It's Kirei! What is he doing here?!'
Feng Hei Lang dipped her head. "No, it's okay. I wasn't looking where I was going. It was my fault."
Kirei nodded and then started walking towards the office building, heading away from her.
