Fengli City!

Feng Hei Lang peeked out from behind the tree she was standing. Ahead, was a stone wall border to Fengli City. She asked Kang Lei and Kirei, "How do we get past the border?"

Kirei picked up something from his pocket and brought it out. "You simply have to pay a small fee." He was holding five silver coins in his hand. "This much should be enough."

Kang Lei frowned. "Aren't they going to ask for identity papers or something? Or do they let everyone just walk in?"

Kirei pulled out a few gold coins. "They shouldn't check if it is this much."

Feng Hei Lang nodded. "This should be enough to buy our way in. I doubt the guards would dare check our identities if we give them this much."

She quickly stood up from behind the tree. "C'mon. Let's head towards the stone wall." Both of them pulled their cloak down and started walking into the line which people were entering Fengli city from.

Kirei stood in front of them since he had the money. Soon enough, the guards moved to them. "State your name and business. You must also pay the fee of one silver!"

He placed the five silver coins into the guard's hand, and then started stacking a gold coin onto them.

The guard's eyes widened and then he said, "You may enter." Kang Lei and Feng Hei Lang quickly entered the city with Kirei.

The city had brick houses with horses pulling carriages throughout the streets. In the center of the city, there was a fountain, and behind it there was large castle.

Feng Hei Lang gasped as she looked around her. People were bustling around, carrying things and working. There were even some noble ladies in frilly dresses and carrying fans.

Kirei pointed to a shop in the corner. "We can get the herbs there." The shop read: "Xanvia's Fresh Medicinal Herbs."

Feng Hei Lang nodded and pulled down the hood of her cloak even lowed. "Let's go."

As they pushed open the door to the shop, instantly someone was sent crashing into her. Feng Hei Lang crashed along the ground with a man on top of her. She gasped and coughed out a bit of blood. 'WHO THE HELL DID THAT?!'

She pushed the man off of her and got to her feet. The man stood up and waved his hands angrily to the store. "You dare push me out?! I said I wanted all the velia herbs you have!"

A man came out from the store. "As I said, those herbs are for VIP clients! I cannot just give them to you for free! Leave!"

The people around the street started whispering.

"Reilly is at it again...Trying to get free herbs."

"Xanvia should just ban him from his store..."

Reilly walked right up to Xanvia and gripped him by the collar. "Just give them to me! I need them!"

Xanvia whacked him away with the broom in his hand. "No! Unless you can pay for them, leave!"

Feng Hei Lang sighed when she saw this scene unfolding. 'How dumb can they be? This man thinks he can get a herb for free!'

Kirei suddenly intervened between them. "Excuse me, are you Xanvia, the store owner?"

Xanvia tapped his broom on the ground. "Yes I am. What do you want?"

Kirei held out a hand full of gold coins. "I'll take ten stalks of velia herbs, fifty yenir leaves, and twenty-five stems of elevier fruit."

Xanvia immediately dipped his head. "Right away, esteemed customer!" He ran into the store to grab the herbs that Kirei requested.

Reilly on the ground gritted his teeth. "You dare intervene!" He grabbed a long twig from the ground and energy swirled around it. The people around them started running away.

"Oh no! Reilly is using his spiritual energy again!"

A red aura started forming around the twig as he brought it towards Kirei.

Feng Hei Lang reached out a hand and shouted, "Kirei!" However, there was nothing to worry about. Kirei merely dodged it and said, "Please leave. I do not want to hurt you."

Reilly laughed. "As if you can! I'm at third stage Qi Condensation Realm!" He swung the twig down once more.

Kirei dodged it again and hit it right in the center, snapping it into two. Reilly gasped and dropped the broken stick. "What-? That shouldn't be possible! Are you that much stronger than me?" He started running away. "I'll be back!"

Xanvia exited the store carrying a bag of herbs. "Oh? Reilly left. Thank you for getting rid of him, esteemed customer! I can recommend you an inn to stay for the night if you would like."

Feng Hei Lang took the bag from his hands. "Thank you, would you tell us the inn?" He nodded. "Straight down the street. It's a popular one at a good price, though I'm sure that you don't have to worry about prices."

She smiled. "Thank you." She quickly beckoned to Kang Lei and Kirei. "Come. Let's find a place to stay tonight."

They nodded. Kirei took out more money from within his cloak. "I think I have enough." Kang Lei nudged him. "How much money do you even keep in there? I think you have enough to buy this entire city!"

Feng Hei Lang laughed. "Well, we'll rest tonight and then quickly head out to get the wolf tomorrow!"

Kirei nodded. "Yes, we can head out tomorrow."

She ran to the front of the inn. "Come on, Kirei and Kang Lei! We'll be done with Fengli city soon!"
