Tiger cub

Shen, his hair billowing gently in the breeze, turns to the system and inquires, "Hey system, what's the reward I got from naming Lilith?"

[The Demon Emperor received Flames of Erebus]

"Are the Flames of Erebus... any good?" Shen asks the system, his curiosity piqued by this unfamiliar power.

[Technique: Flames of Erebus]

[Grade: Legendary (Upgradeable)]

[Comprehension: Basic]

[Explanation: A potent and unending inferno granting mastery over fire and destruction. Command flames that never extinguish, capable of incinerating anything in their path. Gain the power to forge weapons of pure flame and summon fiery entities to serve you.]

Shen smirks at the panel. Maybe staying here isn't so bad after all. Lilith leans against the sect's main gates in the distance, her seductive clothes fluttering in the wind as she waves to Shen. Shen tenses his muscles and propels himself off the pristine marble tiles, reaching the main sect gate almost instantly and stopping next to Lilith.

"You almost looked cool, my Emperor," Lilith says slyly, then walks down the path out of the sect.

"Damn it... one day I'll make your jaw drop, believe me!" Shen declares loudly, with conviction. Lilith turns her head, smiling seductively.

"I'll look forward to it then, my Emperor," Lilith replies, turning her gaze ahead and slowing her pace to match Shen's.

[Three hours later...]

Shen and Lilith walk through the woods, Shen appearing somewhat annoyed as he leaps above the trees, scanning the barren landscape for any signs of life. His sour expression deepens upon finding nothing—no villages, bandits, or even demon monsters. Not a single insect disturbs the silence. Shen lands back on the ground, visibly frustrated.

"Is something wrong, my Emperor?" Lilith inquires, noticing Shen's discontent.

"There's nothing here! How am I supposed to find any talented demons when there's not a living thing for miles?" Shen vents his frustration. The reward, granting the ability to cultivate, seemed heavenly. After all, a cultivator can flatten mountains, boil seas, and overturn heavens.

"Well... perhaps it's my aura," Lilith suggests in a slightly seductive voice, meeting Shen's gaze. She immediately reduces her aura release to that of a mid-Golden Core cultivator.

"Done, my Emperor," Lilith happily says, hugging Shen's arm and pressing against him. Shen blushes slightly, unsure of how to handle the situation, but one thing is clear: coming here was definitely worth it.

Suddenly, a thunderous roar echoes from the distant mountains, sending shockwaves through the area. Shen and Lilith remain unaffected, but the surrounding trees bend and break.

"Well, that was unexpected..." Shen remarks, taken aback by the sudden roar. He turns to Lilith. "Should we do something about that?"

"That insignificant little creature dares to attack my Emperor!" Lilith exclaims, extending her hand toward the source of the roar. A small tiger silhouette hurtles towards Lilith's outstretched hand. Lilith grabs the tiger cub by the neck, expressing anger. "So, a mere cub dares..." But before she can harm the cub, Shen gently places his hand on her shoulder.

"Let the tiger cub go," Shen says gently but with a stern gaze, causing Lilith to gently release the cub. A notification pops up in front of Shen.

[Name: Tiger Cub]

[Gender: Male]

[Age: 1]

[Physique: Thunderous Roar Physique]

[Bloodline: Malevolent Demonic Bloodline]

[Body Cultivation: Mortal]

[Cultivation: Mortal]

[Talent: Early Heavenly]

[Backstory: This little tiger cub was one of the last tiger demons on the mountain. Its price increased due to constant hunting. After finding its mother's remains, it awakened the Thunderous Roar Physique and roared in the direction of the Demon Emperor.]

Shen crouched beside the tiger cub, holding it gently and allowing the warmth of the Flames of Erebus to comfort the crying creature. After a while, when the cub fell asleep in his arms, Shen rose, glancing at Lilith with teary eyes. "Looks like we found a talented little cub," he whispered, emotion tinging his voice.

Observing the scene, Lilith, feeling a twinge of jealousy, quickly brushed it off. They both began their walk back to the sect, Shen carefully cradling the slumbering tiger cub in his arms.

"By the way, Lilith, what should we name the sect?" Shen asked, his voice soft.

As Lilith gazed at the fiery colors of the sunset, a smirk played on her lips. "Malevolence Cult!" she suggested. But Shen, looking at the crimson-stained skies, proposed, "Perhaps something more fitting for a demon empire... how about Demon Palace?"

"If you desire a grand name, then Dread Sovereignty Palace," Lilith countered, her smile embodying a true Demon. Shen felt his heart quicken at the sight of Lilith's malevolent grin but managed to compose himself. "Well, it's certainly grand enough," he replied.

[Three hours later...]

Approaching the sect, they noticed the grand gates now bore the sign 'Dread Sovereignty Palace' in large, imposing letters. A red pop-up appeared before Shen, this time not startling him.

[Congratulations, host, for naming your sect 'Dread Sovereignty Palace'.]

[Reward: One sect demonic beast choice card]

Delighted, Shen pondered aloud, "So, does the Law of Naming apply to literally anything?"

[The Demon Emperor should explore 'The Law of Naming' on his own]

Shen looked unamused at the system's reply. "Gee, thanks for the help, I guess," he muttered sarcastically.

He led the sleeping tiger cub into his abode, gently placing it on the bed, covering it with a blanket, and murmuring soothing words. Meanwhile, Lilith sat outside, attempting to draw in Qi but abruptly stopping due to the overwhelming power she almost absorbed. Confounded, she noticed the incomprehensible arrays and mystical jewels imbued in the sect's structure.

As Shen emerged from his abode, dressed casually in modern attire, he noticed Lilith seemingly distressed. "You okay, Lilith?" he inquired, puzzled by her unusual demeanor.

With a hint of embarrassment, Lilith looked at Shen, regaining composure and adopting her seductive tone. "If it isn't my emperor, would you like your reward now?" she cooed.

"Absolutely!" Shen responded enthusiastically, thinking that such a moment might not arise again. Before he could finish his thought, Lilith planted a rosy-lipped kiss on Shen's cheek, leaving him surprised and a little wistful as she walked away to her abode. "Goodnight, my emperor," she called out before departing.

Shen stood there, stunned by the unexpected gesture, feeling a mix of happiness and a tinge of regret at the lack of further progress between him and Lilith...
