1 Come set us free!!!

"Leave me alone, don't come closer!!!" Elena screamed as she moved backward slowly until her back came in contact with a hard surface. She was surrounded by thick bushes and tall trees.

"Come set us free!!!", a group consisting of 14 people shouted at once. They were all dressed in a red hoodie robes with strips of the black line from the top to the brim on each side. She couldn't see their face, they looked scary.

" I don't know what you're talking about!!!" She screamed even more.

"Come set us free!!!, you already belong to us!!!" they shouted in unison and started laughing.

"I don't belong to you and will never," she shouted.

"You lie!!!" a single voice echoed through the forest.

The other members gave way for him to come through giving Elena a clearer view to see who it was or what it was. His whole robe was covered with blood, he looked like the supreme. "You must come and set us free, it's your destiny!!!" he thundered and held Elena in the throat.

"Let me go!!!" She said weakly as she struggled for her life. "Please," she said almost giving up the ghost and that was when she opened her eyes to discover she was lying on a comfortable bed and a well-furnished and decorated room.

"It was a dream," she said as she sat upright panting as she touched her neck but it was all clear. This was the first time she was having such a nightmare. She wondered what the man meant by it was her destiny to set them free. Who were they? What did they want from her? she wondered. She was only an innocent girl who knew nothing but to study and pass her exams.

She stood up from her bed, went to the bathroom, and washed her face. She looked into the mirror in front of her and there was a mark on her neck that drew her attention. "When did this appear?" she asked herself as she touched the upper part of her neck.

She washed her face again, and when she looked at that same part of her neck the mark was gone. She wondered if she was hallucinating or if it was real. She wiped her face with a towel and went back to her room.

She went to sit on a well-furnished chair and a reading table in front of it, which was directly opposite her bed. She put on her headset to listen to music, which was one of her favorite hobbies. She didn't want to go back to sleep, she had an hour left before her waking time. It was 5 am but she seldom woke up at 6 am. Music was the only thing that could keep her awake in the meantime.

Elena Joyce Adams is the only child of her parents, Mr. Clifford Adams and Mrs. Juliet Adams. Her mother grew up in a government orphanage and she had no parents. According to what Mrs. Juliet was told her dad died in an accident before she was giving birth and her mom died immediately after she gave birth to her. She met her husband in college while studying medicine and they got married after college.

After an hour, Elena started to get prepared for school. She was transferring to a new school for her last year at high school. The transfer was compulsory for her cause they relocated.

She was going to be starting the well-known Dynasty Elite High (DEH). The school is a prestigious one, one of its kind in the whole country, it was unique.

Elena wasn't happy about the transfer but there was nothing she could do about it. She came out of her room as soon as she was done preparing for school and she headed towards the dining area.

As usual, her parents were already sitting while discussing. "Good morning dad, mom," she said as she sat down.

"How was your night?" they chorused suddenly making her remember the nightmare.

"Er...good," she said as she was disturbed by the nightmare.

Her parents noticed her disturbed face. "Honey, is everything alright?" her mum asked. "I'm fine" she answered.

"You know you can tell us anything," her dad said.

"Just worried about my first day at school" she lied.

"You'll be fine" her mum assured her.

"It's going to be okay and we're sorry you had to leave your previous school," her dad said. "It's fine, I'll adapt," she said smiling but not a genuine one.

"Get your things ready we'll be leaving in an hour," her mum said and she nodded.

One fact about DEH was that it is owned by the government but was treated as and run like a private school and sometimes regarded as a private school. Elena had heard so much about the school, she hoped she had a peaceful final year cause that's what she wanted.

Breakfast was served which consist of fried eggs, bread, and tea. Elena heaves as she picked up her teaspoon and turns the tea then the spoon fell as she was about to keep it on the tray. As she bent down to pick it she saw a drop of blood fall to the ground.
