An unnatural warmth spread within her stomach as she moaned in delightful pleasure with small droplets of tears forming in her eyes.
The tears seemed to be of pleasure as her face depicted, she seemed to be going through some sort of extremely euphoric feeling.
She felt her legs getting weak as she fell and soon lost consciousness.

Her name was Evelyn. Her mother never mentioned her second name so she didn't know.
She had decided to use her bloodline power on her mother.
Coming to this decision was not easy for her at all.
She knew as a human, something like this was highly corrupted and insane, insulting, and whatever evil she could think of.
But the demon side of her was more emotionless and more rational which argued against the human self about the use of such morales if she could not survive.
The human side knew it was right but still stubbornly refused to abide.
Ultimately Evelyn was now a demon, so she came to this decision. It was far better than letting her mother's body dissipate and merge with Hell instead.
But Evelyn was unsure if her power could devour other demons, she didn't expect her power to be so strong to be able to devour a demon.
Even [Gluttony] magic could not devour a demon.
If she had such a strong bloodline, she wouldn't have been in slums rotting with her mother surviving and fighting for food.
She did not know the consequence of it herself but to survive, she needed to take risks in her life if she wished to get stronger.

Evelyn woke up with cloudy eyes she sat slowly on her bed where she fell and observed her surroundings.
Luckily, it looks like no one broke in while he was unconscious, or she wouldn't be here now.
She got up and felt the changes in her body.
She felt energized, she felt satisfied.
Her hunger was so satisfied that she was feeling as if she had overeaten somehow.
But more important than that, was what she got.
[Spirit Magic]
She got access to spirit magic, the magic that belonged to her mother, and the family to which she originally was born.
She got many memories unknown to her, most of them related to how to use spirit magic.
How to train mana?
Proper meditation methods and flow control…
The level of knowledge was basic but the spirit magic knowledge was at least on the intermediate level.
There were three basic levels of magic understanding: low, intermediate, and advanced.
Further magic understanding would make the demon a master in that magic.
It seems every time she devoured demon, she would be able to devour that demon's magic which should be special to his kind, even if Evelyn was of a different kind, she could use it.
Along with that, she would also receive a partial amount of memories of the demon she devoured.
In her mother's memory, she got to catch a glimpse of the faces of her sister and father for a moment as well.
But that was not it.
The most powerful thing she got was,
[Principal Spirit bloodline]
She got the bloodline of her mother!
A demon can never be born with multiple bloodlines ever.
It has never been recorded to see a demon with more than one bloodline.
Two bloodlines can never co-exist as they are always different on a very fundamental level, to begin with, so merging them is also impossible.
A demon is distinguished based on his/her bloodline which also determines his/her strength and potential.
A demon born with an excellent bloodline is bound to become strong in the future if some effort is put into training it.
A demon with a certain bloodline can access all the skills related to that particular bloodline.
That's also why there were so many distinguished noble households in the netherworld, each of them in charge of some duty or other to supervise or control.
There was never a family with the power to do all tasks alone.
Even the demon king is not an exception to this.
But she, of all demons, was capable was achieving such a feat with her power.
Now she understands why her mother had no clue about her bloodline power.
She doubted anyone had ever seen such a powerful bloodline ability.
She imagined if the demons got to know of her abilities.
She would be either instantly killed by the high-ranking or noble demons as a threat or abnormality or be studied while being dissected at unspeakable parts to know more about her bloodline.
The other possible scenario would be that she would be captured by greedy noble demons to finally become a baby-producing machine.
These nobles' demons have prestigious bloodlines as they say and are always in search of ways to further improve their bloodline and Evelyn with such a mysterious and potent bloodline would become a perfect mate to breed with.
She would truly become a breeding cattle for them
Shiver!
She shivered imagining her cruel fate if that were to happen.
She instantly made a vow to her inner self to never reveal her true bloodline to anyone ever.
She could now easily hide her bloodline power [Devour] as she could just devour a bunch of bloodlines and alternatively switch between them.
But a thing she noticed about her power [Devour] was that it could not devour the demon if the gap of strength between Evelyn and the demon is too huge.
Evelyn's mother was not that strong of a demon, to begin with, and she was also suffering from a terrible disease so Evelyn was able to devour her.
Evelyn was not shocked at all knowing this as she was expecting a such thing.
Besides gaining her mother's bloodline and magic, she improved a lot in her mana reserve and physical strength.
Her mana level had increased a lot and so did her physical strength.
