Invasion
Short Chapter

[Evan's POV]
It has been one and a half months since Alex's disappearance and we have all been worrying about him. The Avengers have completely fallen apart because of the so-called accords. Maybe Alex is right, I have grown soft. Mother separated me from Natasha and threw me into a room. She made me reflect on all my decisions as of late. Father had said that Alex would be fine, but we still couldn't have helped but be worried. The little ones and Artemis have also disappeared with him. I can only pray for their safety.
I was training in the room like usual until I suddenly heard the sound of Alarms. I tore down the door with my lightsaber. Just a week ago, I reached peak-stage Ascension realm and underwent my trials to receive the inheritance bestowed by the crafting godking, Hession Omikwon. Through him, I learnt the art of forging and crafting. After that, I was given many rare and extinct resources, such as a life energy crystal. An inspiration came to me and I broke a part of it to create my lightsaber. He said it was better than the one he made back then, and I'm still sure he is lying.
Anyways, the alarms rang as I pulled a soldier who was running past me to the side. "What's going on?"
"Sir, we have just been notified that all troops are to get to the ships"
I asked him a few other questions and he seemed just as clueless as me.
I ran towards the hangers before finding Natasha
"What's going on?" I quickly asked her
"An invasion force was found right on the borders of one of your mother's colonies" Natasha replied with clear confusion "You're an alien?"
"Depends on what you define alien. To species living in the stars, other species are considered aliens even humans" I replied before gitting on the Winter Prowler where Wanda was waiting for us.
"Where are Hela and Calypso?" I asked her
"Hela is still pregnant so Calypso volunteered to stay behind and watch her" Wanda answered
"oh..." I thought silently to myself hoping that Alex would be back soon
The ship took off a minute later and hundreds of pelicans came and go to load and unload troops.

[Far away near the Epsillion Star system]
Two fleets fought in an intense battle, lasers flew as spells blasted the shields of enemy ships. On one side you can immediately tell that they were the Chitauri with their augmented Leviathan species. The other side was a small fleet whose ships look like wooden boats. Two people were watching the battle from above.
"Lilly, we can't get involved with the affairs of the galaxy" Chaos tried to stop his wife from entering the battle. "There are rules that we primordials need to follow"
"I know" She stared at the battle below, watching her people slowly lose the battle and the planet
"We can't do anything, but Evan can" Chaos tried to ease her anger

[Onboard the Infinity]
We entered slip space as soon as we got everyone on board the Infinity. We only left a few frigates as the entire navy was mobilized.
"What's the situation?" I asked as soon as we got to the bridge
"We sent a few probes and stealth fighters out before entering slip space and we just received visual feedback" A woman whom I seem to find familiar said,
"Annabeth?" I asked
"Evan" She smiled
It was then that I noticed that there were quite a lot of familiar faces on our way here.
"Where's Percy? I asked
"He wanted to stay behind because of his mom" She shook her head in disappointment
I was silent and prayed for Percy when we get back.
"What's the situation now?" I asked, getting back on topic
She pulled up the pictures and indeed there is a battle happening up in space above the planet.
"How long until we arrive?" I asked
[Five minutes] Albert suddenly answered
"Good to see you again Albert" I smiled
[Good to see you too sir]
"How are the others?" I asked
[Cortana is still angry that Sir Alex disappeared on her, while the others are currently doing their jobs]
"Exiting slip space in 4 minutes" Someone shouted
I got on the comms and began issuing orders to the rest of the fleet. "Prepare for battle"
