Human.

Once again, I woke up to an unfamiliar space. I already knew whatever dream I had with my mother was nothing more than a near-death hallucination.

But it didn't fail to disappoint me, sitting up, I could feel every fiber of pain in my body, it even got excruciating.

A blonde haired demigod noticed my presence and rushed by my side, "Don't move-.."Eric spoked swiftly as if he was used to this type of work.

Just like he said I laid back down as my eyes faced the ceiling, "When the Cyclop back then hit you, you.. For some reason, got hurt, you lost a ton of blood, but when I checked the wounds it had disappeared, you still feel pain right?"Eric asked, observing me closely.

I nodded quietly, does this mean I was slowly turning into a human equivalent? My body strangely stiffened, giving me a huge headache as I grunted softly.

"I couldn't find any ambrosia, so I put some normal bandages instead.. And that I didn't want to risk the human-like wounds to get any worse with God-eaten substances."The blonde demigod explained as he sat on the chair next to my bed.

I could feel my throat nearly aching, I was unable to speak, perhaps the hit really did take a blow on me.

I couldn't think of anything but how the cyclop's hit had affected me, then suddenly a loud thud came through the door with two worried friends.

"Kylar are you alright?-"The blue haired demigod spoke with a soft but worrisome voice, Ray stood next to him, but he looked as guilty as Ace was.

I could careless with how much they care for me at this point, because if you're going to ruin Olympus what's the point?

"Eric, can we have a bit of a moment?"Ray asked with a guilty smile, but right when Eric left agreeing to what Ray said.

Ray showed a more cunning expression, Ray always had split his work time and impression time, quite two faced i'd say.

Ray came close to me displaying me his utheria, with the news turned on, specifically about the attack in Meria HIgh.

"Don't worry, the media says that you were just passing by."The green haired demigod reassured me. I sighed in relief, but a part of me felt like it wasn't the relief I needed.

"Just passed by and I just coincidentally got hit by the Cyclop on the rooftop?"I responded with heavy suspicion, ah yes.. My throat definitely still felt sore, but I could get some words out.

The always needed suspicion, Ace walked closer to me, "Are you alright though?" Me? Alright? Impossible.

But I nodded anyway, Ace took off a soft sigh as he backed away a bit, "I agree with your suspicion, someone must've been covering up some of your tracks.. I think that I have a hint, but I'm not sure."The blue haired demigod admitted.

I listened to the demigod's words, but I was more focused on my condition, looking down at my hand, I folded my fingers.

I could feel the clear sign, I was weakening, I was still pretty strong but only i could know when i grow weak.

The little slithers of power began to fade away, slowly but surely, my power could last only for a few years.. And then I'll be completely human.

Well, you know what they say, fake it till you make it.

"Ace, swear loyalty to me."I spoke with a stern voice despite my throat which was breaking down, Ace didn't seem to have hesitated.

A firm expression stood on the demigod, "As Ace Aphelion, I swear to all of the seas that I will declare absolute loyalty to you."Ace unrelentingly said, it's as if he has said something like it before.

It came a bit off to me, the fact that he was willing to pledge loyalty to me, despite our barely to no conversations.

Once Ace pledged that a small earthquake happened, it must've been the sign where the loyalty was accepted.

"Okay okay, enough with the pledges, Ace and I will go get dinner for you.."Ray said with a bored frown as he pulled Ace by the collar of his shirt, to his direction.

Ray, with that more positive personality, it's not debatable that I prefer him like that more.

Maybe I just hate it when someone lies to me.. I watched as Ray pulled Ace away and left the hospital room.

I laid my head back on the pillow as I looked up at the ceiling, so this is it.

Revenge.

I just need to quicken up this plan and I'll be on my way to freedom, freedom from this hellish life.
