Sieging Sorcerers

I

Nazeir and the four brothers arrived at mid-night Keln. As they got off the wagon, a group of spearheaded soldiers came and faced Nazeir.

"General! We thought you were an intruder."

"Where is Tabot?"

"In the tent with General Jurko."

"Jurko is here?"

"He just came. About two hours ago, forced march his way with his soldiers."

Nazeir immediately ran leaving the four brothers to the soldiers of the Spearhead. He ran up the hill toward the large bright tent. When he reached the top, Nazeir was greeted by two soldiers guarding Tabot. They gave way for the inquisitor , and there he saw Tabot and Jurko discussing.

"Tabot!" Nazeir called the scientist.

"Damn it, Nazeir. We've been looking for you all day. Where have you been? We have some bad news-"

"And I have worse news," Nazeir stopped Tabot from speaking. "Another thing to hold on to. I found out where the sorcerers is. And another green crystal!"

Tabot directly faced Nazeir with a face that is itching for an answer.

"Where!?"

"There's a pretty big defensive castle. I can feel their magic. There are several sorcerers in that place, and there are thousands of soldiers there. An army I need, I need people to help me."

Tabot glanced at Jurko, he thought of something.

"Jurko and you are going there. I'm sending three-quarters of our soldiers. You'd better bring the rocks back to me."

"As you wish, Tabot."

Jurko walked to Nazeir.

"Shall we go now?"

"But your soldiers just forced their way here."

"We're bringing another soldier, purple cloak," Jurko looked at the Tabot. "Can we take them?"

Jurko thought for a while, he closed his eyes and tried to think of the consequences.

"Fine, take them."

From outside the tent there were shouts of joy, Jurko and Nazeir were alerted. Then the screams fell silent as the inquisitors stared behind the tent's divider where two guarding soldiers were outside in glee.

"Thank you, Tabot," said Nazeir.

The two men came out of the scientist's tent, they looked at the two guard soldiers who had a big smile on their lips. Nazeir smiled too, and put one hand on the soldier's shoulder.

"Call the others," he said.

The soldier immediately ran with his comrade, alerting the guard regiment that they would fight. Jurko walked alone preparing his soldiers, and Nazeir gathered an army of guards.

He walked into a camp area which was filled with purple-cloaked guard in shining armor as light reflected off their cold steel armor. The men in the tent were lined up, Nazeir calculated that there were probably two hundred men ready for battle.

The inquisitor saw the captain of the guard, a man with short black hair. His bright white skin was a little dark because of the sun that had lit up his body.

"General Nazeir," he greeted facing his body to the inquisitor. "The soldiers are ready to go double time."

"Can't stand the fierceness of the battlefield?"

From behind the line a soldier's voice answered.

"The blood of the sorcerer and the northerner will be on my sword," said a soldier in the line who raised his sword.

"Your soldiers are delighted, Tullius."

"More than the general thought," he shared with delight at the upcoming battle. "So, when are we going to march?"

"Prepare your soldiers first, Tullius. We'll be waiting for Jurko with his soldiers."

"How many people are we going to bring?"

"Enough. I think seven or eight hundred."

"One purple cloak for dozens of northern soldiers. We are ready for war, we thirst for the thrill to come."

Nazeir nodded in agreement. Tullius prepared his soldiers, then led the soldiers down the road waiting for Jurko and his soldiers.

Soon Jurko followed with his four hundred soldiers. Some of them are sleepy but endure the disturbing feelings. The two inquisitors were ready with their soldiers, then the whistle sounded.

"Forward March!" cried Tullius.

The sound of one foot stepping at the same time resounded loudly. All the soldiers immediately walked towards the sorcerer's castle. The soldiers on board carried torches to light the way, and banners that wrote their company names.

In the morning they arrived in front of the sorcerer's castle, and it seemed that they had seen the arrival of the Spearhead army. The security had been made even tighter, and the castle looked more like a fortress. On the roof of the building were four sorcerers awaiting the arrival of the Spearhead soldiers.

Nazeir and the rest of the Spearheads rested near the castle. A small group of soldiers were exchanging fire with an army of sorcerers. They built a small ballista and hurled a fiery barrel at the sorcerer's castle.

In return, the sorcerers cast their fireball magic. Even though the two throws from the Spearhead and the sorcerer didn't hit each other, the vast field of grass burst into flames. The fire devoured all the grass that was close to each other, and finally all the grassland was covered with a blazing fire. Nazeir and all his soldiers could feel the great fire burning hot because their camp was so close to the burning place.

Knowing that the fire was about to approach them, Nazeir finally ordered all of the Spearhead's soldiers to prepare.

All the soldiers stood tall, lined up in formation. Nazeir divided the soldier into three armies. Jurko's soldiers charged from the front, and the purple cloak soldiers charged from the sides with Jurko and Nazeir as the commander.

There is one path they can use, when the other path is blocked by the hot fire. The soldiers raised their shields, preparing for the arrows to be shot. Nazeir stood behind the soldier who raised his shield with Jurko. They marched slowly to keep their formation tight.

When arrows began to shower them, Nazeir told the soldiers to stay strong, sometimes calling them by name. When it was close to the great gate of the fort, Nazeir shouted to his soldiers.

The man could feel the tension and the thrill of his soldiers wanting to fight those people. Their hands were already shaking waiting to swing them at the army of sorcerers who were showering arrows. In front of the castle door, they could see hundreds of soldiers waiting for the arrival of the Spearhead soldiers.

Nazeir saw his soldiers starting to snort in exhaustion. He needed to get them back to the way they were before. The inquisitor needs to give encouragement.

Before Nazeir could speak, an arrow went through a gap and hit his chest. He felt a jolt as the arrow hit his outer armor. He dropped one foot on the ground, he grunted in anger as he stood back up. He shouted loudly giving a word of encouragement.

"We have raised the veil of hell! made the sorcerers run from their hideout. Let's show them what demons really are! Don't stop until your sword is covered with their blood. A cornered rat with no way out. Attack!"

After Nazeir pumped the entire army's blood with his words, Tullius blew his whistle and instantly the entire Spearhead army charged and clashed with the sorcerer's army.

They shouted in their scuffles, scraping the iron of the sword with the enemy's shield. The two sides want each other's blood, and the Spearheads give their own blood. The spearhead soldiers were thirsty for blood, when their stomachs were stabbed; they rose again and stabbed back at their enemies like soldiers rising from the dead.

Jurko patted Nazeir's back, he pointed to an opening in the skids of the narrow battlefield.

"Forward, Nazeir!" shouted Jurko.

Nazeir and the hundred purple cloak warriors immediately dashed to the side of the completely unguarded fort. Unfortunately, there was no entrance for them to use, forcing Nazeir to make one.

As the purple cloak soldiers waited for Nazeir to make an entrance, the archer soldiers began to rain down on them. A soldier leapt forward from the formation, covering the head of Nazeir who was being aimed at by an archer.

The inquisitor was surprised to hear the sound of arrows hitting the soldier's shield, he turned around and saw the man raising his shield to protect Nazeir from arrows.

Nazeir immediately sped up, he made an explosive symbol on the wall. When the symbol was drawn, everyone took a few steps back. Nazeir snapped his fingers, and the wall exploded towards the inside of the castle. Accidentally, Nazeir made half of the building collapse.

All the soldiers ran away from the collapsing part of the building, and Nazeir had no idea what he had just done.

"Shit, I guess I was wrong-"

Then on the other side of the castle there was an explosion. Jurko just tore down the castle on his part.

With no alternative, Nazeir and his soldiers stormed into the rubble of the building. They shouted, whistle blown. They were met with hundreds of bodies of soldiers trapped under the rubble. The soldiers trampled their bodies, not knowing that they were the bodies of the soldiers they were supposed to fight.

The Spearhead soldiers lunged at the sorcerer's soldiers that were inside the building. Nazeir could see the people were confused as to how they had come. All the sorcerer's soldiers inside the building panicked, as well as the sorcerer's soldiers outside seeing their comrades being attacked from behind. everyone immediately fled from the front of the battlefield.

They ran into the building, looking for safety and new breathing space. The Spearhead Soldiers charging from the front door chased their way in, and the battle in the cramped castle was suffocating.

When he was fighting with some of the soldiers, Nazeir felt goosebumps on his neck. He sensed magic, far below where he was. The inquisitor killed the two soldiers, the latter of which he slammed to the floor. Nazeir has an explosion symbol next to his head. The man shouted, Nazeir shouted knowing they could die. A huge explosion rang out, making a small hole enough for Nazeir to fall into it.

Nazeir falls from a great height. The inquisitor wore the soldier's body like a shield when he landed in the underground place. The man sprained his leg, he grunts in pain. Nazeir sit down and twisted his ankle until he couldn't feel the pain. He could feel a chill in his ankles, the mutation getting to work.

Nazeir started walking steadily, he saw this round room which was wide and had very high ceiling, which is the floor where he fell from. He didn't know where he was, but he knew where the sorcerers was. He saw a thick wooden door.

The inquisitor pushed the enormous door open, revealing the contents behind it. It was in a green crystal deposit bunker. Nazeir walked around the room, saw hundreds of green crystals still fused in the quarried stone neatly arranged in long rows.

"How many do they have?" he muttered.

"More than you think."

All the sorcerers that Nazeir met were now in the same room as him. They walked out of the dark corner of the room, surrounding the lone Nazeir. Nazeir pulled out his sword, ready for a sudden attack.

"I see you're alive after fighting brother Hefastus. I'm starting to think that you are full of surprises."

"Who the hell are you? Come and start meddling in our troubles?"

"How did you find us."

The inquisitor was being asked questions by the sorcerers, and he just pulled out his scimitar while staring at them.

"The slayer of Sorcerers."

Nazeir raised his sword and began to face all the sorcerers. He charged at a sorcerer with his abnormal speed, every sorcerers was surprised by the inquisitor's abilities.

Nazeir slit the man's throat with his sword, head rolling on the floor of death. All the sorcerers started casting their magic, trying to hit Nazeir. A flying rock hit Nazeir, sending him flying to the end of the room. The sorcerers held back their magic when they saw the inquisitor lying motionless behind the boulder.

"Is he dead or passed out?"

"I do not know..."

"Shit. What did we just see!?"

"I don't know. But it looks unusual, as if he..."

The sorcerer looked at Nazeir who stood back up. This time, he pounded his chest right in the heart. They began to be wary of the inquisitor. His unknown behavior started to make every sorcerers feel anxious. Nazeir began to stop hitting his chest and returned to gripping his sword tightly.

The sorcerers began to attack Nazeir with their magic, and someone tried to approach him. Nazeir set his sights on the sorcerer who was approaching him. And everything started to crumble from there.

One by one Nazeir attacked and was hit by attacks from the sorcerers. He sometimes gets knocked down to his feet, but he gets back standing. His head began to sweat profusely with blood.

Seeing Nazeir's demens-worthy appearance, the sorcerers stopped attacking and ran away from him. They were executed one by one by the creature covered in blood. And in the end, a sorcerer was trapped in a dark corner of the room. With no way out, he prostrated himself begging Nazeir for mercy.

The inquisitor lifted him with his hands around his neck, choking him in the air with both hands. He stared deeply at the sorcerer, making her die of fright.

"Where's the last one?" asked Nazeir glaring sarcastically.

"He marched away!"

"Where to!" Nazeir tightened his choke.

"Keln! The mines. He's about to strike back at that place."

Nazeir realized, Tabot was there with his little army. He lifted the man higher, in suffocation unable to breathe.

"Take me there, sorcerer!"

II

Nazeir exits the portal, seeing the mine in battle. He ran to the place where the battle was, and found out that he was behind the line of sorcerer's army.

Harkon was behind the fighting soldiers, throwing flints of magic at the line of Nazeir soldiers.

Full of anger, the inquisitor began to sweat profusely with blood. In his hands was the head of the sorcerer he last killed, he threw the head high in the sky, and landed beside the sorcerer. Harkon turned his head to the inquisitor who was unharmed but covered in blood. The sorceress was horrified at the sight of his comrade's severed head and began to send his guardsmen to attack the inquisitor .

Five soldiers in full armor came to confront Nazeir. The inquisitor fought with them all at once. Unbeknownst to the soldier, the inquisitor drew the symbols attached to their armor using only his finger. Nazeir snapped his fingers and an explosion severed the soldiers' bodies.

Harkon saw it, immediately ran and opened a portal. Nazeir chased him right behind the sorcerer.

Harkon brought Nazeir jumping from one place to another through portals. The sorcerer took them both to a city street that Nazeir did not know. Nazeir ran after him and started to approach the person.

And again, Harkon teleported them to a new place. The inquisitor saw ice glaciers on either side. They were in the north from the north. Walking in the blizzard, Nazeir stained the white snow with his blood.

Harkon was exhausted and filled with fear. Not to die, but to the inquisitor. Nazeir stood in front of Harkon who was dragging his body. The sorcerer finally gave in, looking at the inquisitor with fear.

"What are you?" he cries in fear.

"Your kind killed my people. Bringing calamity to the innocent. I am the end of you. Death in a form. And this is the end of my inquisition."

Nazeir stuck a dagger in his stomach and dragged him into a sea of ice. Nazeir slit the man's stomach open and his entrails came out of his body. Hrakon wept in pain before the inquisitor threw half of his body into the sea.

It's done, the inquisition is done.

The bloodied Nazeir wandered aimlessly in the blizzard. He walked along the land, waiting until he found something or died trying. In the end, the pain in his heart returned.

Nazeir shouted at the unfilled ice plain. The sky was dark, and so was his vision. Nazeir was still conscious, but he couldn't move his body. He felt something soft, and hot at the same time.

The inquisitor fell unconscious.
