Trap

Shin ran fast as he did parkour to the roof of the building. Shin put his hand on his leg breathing hard.

"We're almost there, Shin-chan."

"Let me take a break..."

"You can use magic, Shin-chan. Why you don't?"

"Ah, I forgot."

A medium sized circle on his head as light enveloped his body. He felt good, his heart beat also calm. Shin crouched down as he look at the even inside.

"Here they are!"

A man in businessman suit appeared looking at a mercenary, Robert Crass with a rifle on his back. Robert crass had A shirt with jacket and leather armor enchanted with a lot of magic incantation. He had greedy face when meet the man.

"Mr Kwong! Nice to meet you! I'm very glad to meet Mr. Kwong! I heard that you're interested in our service in making unstable cube!"

"It's okay, Robert. I'm know that unstable cube also can do something."

"Of course moreover... We have some uninvited guest in this place, is that right.. Phoenix!?"

Robert raised his hand and grasped air. The amout of mercenary appearing is more than a platoon. Shin had surprised face. He never thought the intel about enemies is this misleading. The mercenaries covered the building morethan forty, overpowering the platoon and Phoenix.

"Shit. Open fire!!!"

Phoenix shouted. The platoon open fired, they got twenty. There were still 80 mercenaries. Shin had tense face, he glad his intuition is paid off. He pressed the communicator.

"Erys, is there anyone use Invi-M3?"

"No, Shin-chan. There is none."

"Better get warm up first."

Shin did few exercise before crouch back. He ready his incantation, he need to ready the big one, the accurate and powerful spell. His gauntlet's hole glow on his back of his hand. He grinned.

"This gonna be a big surprise!"

Shin continued incantation and all his gauntlets which have five holes had magic circle inside it. This gauntlet not only for close combat but also keeping magic in ready so they can be used.

Phoenix and the platoon fired the mercenaries. Even they been overhelmed , they were not many injured. They can be considered on C-rank mercenaries. The PL reported to Phoenix,

"Miss Phoenix, we can't hold out. We are almost out of ammo! Moreover, we got five person injured!"

"Guh..."

"Miss Phoenix!"

"Ready to retreat. Have your friend ready!"

"B-but..."

"Miss Phoenix, look!!!"

Shin in air in freestyle falling, he had a grin as a glow on his gauntlets missing one. He shouted with all his might,

"Homing Arrow Rain!!!"

The extra big circle appeared before they released another dozens of small circle. Big circle was about 2.5 metres diameter. There were also symbol of Shin, Dragon around four symbol as insignia. The small circles released an arrow before disappear. It's speed could be said as fast as bullet, massacre a lot of mercenaries.

As Shin landed on the ground, An Electric shockwaves threw everyone away. Robert protected Mr Kwong. He had grim expression,

"What's going on, Robert?"

"That's the rumoured surface make fun of, Delivery Man Joker. I can say his rank is S. If I say I can win, It will not without big sacrifice. Hell, even fighting this guy is dread every Delivery Man,even the mercenaries are S rank."

"What make this Delivery Man that scary?"

"He have all aptitude on magic and can chant it with only keyword."

"You mean..."

"Yes, He is Hybrid Human. Half high human and half human."

"Is that worse!?"

"Yes, it seems so. That already dangerous without..."

*Dogu*

A bullet hit Robert's leg. Shin unholster his blaster.

"Fuck, It's hurt. Run, Mr Kwong. Our transaction almost complete!"

"Earth prison!"

Mr Kwong trapped inside the Earth Prison. Robert who saw this agitated, He shouted as he can,

"Fire, YOUR ASSHOLE!!!"

The mercenaries open fired. Shin rolled to side cover from the barrage of fire. He holstered his guns. Phoenix and the platoon appeared next to her.

"DM Jok...."

"Phoenix, this is not the time to talk ready your weapon. This gonna be bad if we didn't get Robert and Mr Kwong. Back me up!"

Shin said then rushed to the place. The PL wanted to argue but phoenix stopped him. Even though it looks reckless, he never the one who not prepare, even that impossible fight.

"Back up DM Joker. This is the only chance to stop and know their dealing!"

"Yes, maam! Your guys unholster your gun!!!"

The platoon and Phoenix started to fight back. Shin at same time, sped while dodged the bullet expertly. He parkoured over few wooden box. He found Mr Kwong struggled to get away from his magic. Shin smashed open the prison. A bullet fired, Shin turned around and block it with his gauntlet but the force from the gun was totally out of his expectation.

"Custom gun!?"

Robert went near Mr Kwong as Shin took few step away from Robert. Shin had serious expression. Robert sweating while struggling to stand up holding his blade.

"Listen, Mr Kwong. I heard from the information just now, we already have transaction. Your company held the unstable cube. They already arrived there, run away now!"

"Y-yes!"

Mr Kwong ran away from the building, Shin couldn't do anything. Robert rushed at Shin, as Shin dodged to side and deal a blow, Robert shot at the gauntlet but it was ineffective. Robert also slashed at Shin. Shin blocked it with another hand. Robert glared at Shin, Shin grin.

"Time Break!"

The time turned slow. Shin felt his body feel light but he felt his mana was draining like crazy. Shin launched ten series of mix of jab, hook and uppercut.

"Time out."

The time returned to normal but the effect was fast that Robert can't feel anything but pain before flew to the air hitting the wall. Shin's fell to ground. He felt tired as hell, he always thought it was easy to use time magic but it was opposite of it. Robert already faint from the combo. Phoenix and platoon got it covered and defeated all of them. While at it, Shin took every thing he can in space magic. It was easy thanks to him making the mechanism for it, It's size around 2 metres cubic. He got a lot of haul.

Phoenix, or rather Alice went to Shin.

"Thank you, DM Joker. If not for you..."

"Talk to me tomorrow for completion mission. I will charge you based on what I promise."

Shin coldly went away from Alice. Even though, Alice tried to talk nice to him, she is the reason why he didn't believe anyone anymore other than Erys. Only client could talk to him. Or male mercenary.

Shin touched his communicator,

"Erys, what is our dinner tonight?"
