1 Prologue

"Are you dumb or just too thick skinned?" Every word stings, but I still tried to understand as much as I could and listened to every word they spit out to my face. What else did I miss?

"People like you don't belong here, so get out now!" Being different from the other peers, a person like me can no longer step into what they call their world.

" You act as if you were all righteous? How can people judge others just because of what they see and not understanding at all?" Fairness for each and everyone, how come they justify one's worth through their criteria of who's good and not? Is it still right to call it fair in society?

As the summer of my teen year continues, I expected it to be brighter than the rays of the sunflower could face, looking forward to the dreams of my young self. Going to school, chatting with friends while we change our shoes, running upstairs so we will not be late. Sharing our snacks during breaks, watching the basketball game, enjoying the night bonfire. The first kiss in that one magical night of your excursion.

"Senior, I have always liked you, that's why I joined the student council!" It is now or never.

" Will you please accept these chocolates as I pour all my feelings into it!" With outstretched hands the chocolates that I baked together with my friends, my eyes looking down and avoiding the eyes of the man that I've always liked. I felt the little tug of the gift being taken from my hand which means he accepted it.

This is what every girl dreams and with great anticipation but then it all turns into a delusion.

"The chocolates are too bitter, are you sure you did not forget to add sugar?" I suddenly turned my head to the voice who spoke behind me. The small wrapper of one of the chocolates I baked in his hand.

"W-why did you?" It was the same bleached hair that is combed firmly, that pierced left eyebrow as well as that decorated ears, his sullen eyes that are the same color of the dawn. With his tall stature, everyone would always find themselves caught by his appeal.

"These chocolates, I'll accept these." Without any care he grabbed the rest of that pink paper bag and caught my hand.

"No wait! She's not…" I heard the man I am supposed to confess to, just what did you space out at?

"Whoever responded first will be the one to receive her confession! I confirmed it first so it is I whom she would be with!"

Why did he just stand still and let this delinquent eat the chocolates that are for him
