The end of life

James is 29 year old. he is a Game designer living in a one bedroom apartment, he does his work at home so he doesn't have to leave his apartment as he is a shut in. James is sitting at his computer working on his game that is going to change the way people see multiplayer online role-playing games or MORPG for short. James is just fixing couple minor bugs before finishing up The game. James starts to feel a little hungry so he checks his mini fridge that he keeps next to his desk to see if he has any chicken noodles Left and to his disappointment finds no noodles left so he decides to go to supermarket which is only two streets from his apartment. James goes to close his door when he looks outside he see it is raining and grabs his raincoat. 10 minutes later James picks up his chicken noodle soup and pays, he leaves the store through the front door but just as he's going to the glass sliding

"You forgot your change sir"

James looks back and sees the cash register waving at him to collect his change. he walks back in

"thank you"

As James is collecting his change from doors open and a man in a Hoody walks in, as James turns around to leave The mysterious man pulls out a gun and points it at the register.

"Give me all the money you got"

"Okay okay here take it"

James is frozen as the exchange happens next to him, as the man goes to pick up the money off the floor by the cash register through. James suddenly feels the adrenaline run through him, James looks at the man as he is picking up the money as it seem very slow

"Is it just me or is Time moving very slow" James looks at the gun in the mans hand thinking he has the man off guard he runs at the man.

"what am I doing?"

"this is such a bad idea it's like my body is moving on it's own"

As James goes for the gun a fist out of nowhere it's him on the face making James fall to the ground blacking out.

James open his eyes to see a gun pointed out his head

" am I really going to die here but I was so close to finishing a game that was going to change the world"
