"Okay."

Hearing the calm reply from Ye Shi, everyone inside the room frowned involuntarily. Despite everything happening like they wanted, the composed look on Ye Shi's face and the emotionless voice in which he spoke made the elders seated around him feel as if something was wrong.

However despite how the situation turned a little awkward with Ye Shi accepting what they wanted without showing any signs of anger or humiliation, Ye Wuchen didn't stop the proceedings and continued them. In his mind the calm and composed look Ye Shi had was just an act he was putting on to hide the humiliation he was feeling.

"It's good that you've agreed. Now state any conditions you have before you leave the clan, as long as what you ask for isn't too much the clan will definitely fulfill it."

"There's no need for that. From the moment you told me to leave the clan, there was no longer any relation between me and the Ye clan. So there's no need for you to bribe me and make sure I don't tarnish the clan's reputation by speaking off what happened here." pausing for a while, Ye Shi continued speaking in the same tone as before, "If that is all, then I'll be leaving now."

Saying so Ye Shi stood up and began walking towards the door to leave the room.

"You don't have to act this arrogantly just to fulfill your ego. Ask for what you want, and then don't ever come back to the clan. Think of this as me giving face to your dead parents."

The one who spoke this time was Ye Feng, one of the clan elders, and also Ye Shi's uncle.

Listening to what Ye Feng said, the calm expression of Ye Shi's face disappeared and was replaced with disdain and his lips curved into a smile which was overflowing with arrogance. Turning around he looked at the faces of everyone in the room as if placing them in his memory after which he began speaking. This time however his voice was not calm, but was cold to the extreme.

Hearing Ye Wuchen mention that woman, the older males sitting inside the room visibly trembled, while the younger one's had perverted smiles on their faces.

Pausing for a while, Wuchen lightly sighed and shook his head, "Forget about it. With that bastards arragonce he will sooner or later get into enough trouble that even she will throw him away. Okay, now that we've sent him away, we can start making preperations for Yijun's marraige."
