CHAPTER 81

Yoo Na and Cha Eun were supposed to meet on a Saturday to talk to Jisoo. Cha Eun waited at the cafe for Yoo Na and Jisoo, they were both late which was weird because they always kept to the time.

Cha Eun phoned Yoo Na and Jisoo as they were supposed to meet in the morning but time was running fast as the clouds had turned grey with blanket of dark clouds above the sky.

"Where could they possibly be?" Cha Eun murmured to himself as he phoned her but every time he did, her phone would ring but there was no reply at the other end, he tried a few more tines and when it turned out to be futile he abruptly got up with worry etched on his face.

'I'll go to their place, maybe her parents will know where she is." Cha Eun thought inwardly as he left in his car to Yoo Na's house first.

"She's not here, maybe she's at her part time work but her work shift starts in the evening." Mrs Oh informed him when he came asking her about Yoo Na's whereabouts.

Cha Eun drove to her workplace to look for her but she was absent. Cha Eun's jaws ticked in anger and frustration, he wondered where she could possibly be but his instincts told him there was something wrong.

His next stop was Jisoo's house and he drove there to be informed by her grandmother that she wasn't at home.

"She told me she'd be going to see her friends." Her grandmother told him and his face suddenly turned grave.

Cha Eun clenched his fists tightly on the steering wheel as he drove on the road with a deep frown etched on every corner of his face, no one needed to tell him that they were both in danger, they couldn't both disappear at the same time with no information on their whereabouts, it was highly suspicious and he'd get to the bottom of it.

Dae Hyun saw Cha Eun's figure walking into his office towards him with a grave look on his face, he seemed utterly worried and impatient but he didn't need to ask why as he already heard the unnerving situation he was in from the bug he planted in his wristwatch.

"Why do you look so sour, what's wrong? Is it your Father?" Dae Hyun queried with an oblivious look on his face, acting as though he was curious to know the reason behind the boy's sour mood.

He saw the boy's fist tightened in great frustration and anger before he spoke.

"I can't find either of my friends, we were supposed to meet up today but both of them disappeared, I tried contacting them but it's useless, there's no reply from the both of them." Cha Eun said in a panicked tone as his jaws ticked even more.

Dae Hyun's brows furrowed together in displeasure as he heard him speak, making it seem as though he cared when in reality, he didn't.

"Surely it can't be a coincidence, someone must have abducted them both but..do you know of anyone who hates them that much?" Even though he didn't like being disturbed, the current situation was in his favour as he could now easily find out who hated Yoo Na enough to want her dead or abducted which would naturally lead it's way to knowing his blackmailer.

"Shit! It's In Ra, I should have known." Cha Eun would have suspected his father but the old man didn't know Jisoo but In Ra was the perfect culprit as she hated them both, not to mention they were friends.

The name made way into Dae Hyun's head, gluing itself into his dark mind. He suddenly regretted burning the profile information of the students, her profile would have been there but it was an Elite's school and her parents were definitely wealthy if she could abduct the girls so easily, so he would just have to google about her, it wasn't so hard.

"Who is she?" Dae Hyun queried.

"Her father own the school and he's a businessman too. Mr Do." Cha Eun informed him without having to force it out of him.

He was acquainted with Mr Do of Blue corporations, but he would never had thought his daughter would try to blackmail him or want someone dead, he was more astonished by how she knew of Yoo Na's suspicion of him as the killer, he wondered what more she had knowledge of.

"I'll tell the logistics team to run a quick check on all the CCTV cameras near their residences from this morning, we'll be able to know who or where they were abducted from and where they were both abducted to." Cha Eun felt relieved hearing him as he sighed heavily in utter relief.

"Ahh Thank you so much Dae Hyun." He was in immense gratitude that he had someone like Dae Hyun in his life who was so helpful during rough times like that.

They both went to the logistics office and Cha Eun gave them their residence location so they could start checking the CCTV cameras near the areas.

His eyes peered through the screen as the logistics started running the data on both locations, they checked the CCTV near the area as their residence didn't have CCTV as a result of the poor area with poor development.

They checked the CCTV near the road that had more better development and infrastructures, she was walking through an empty path when they saw a black van halt abruptly in front of her and before they could process what was happening, two bulky men in an all black outfit with masks erupted out of the van and suddenly pulled her harshly into it with swift movements not giving her a chance to run and the van immediately disappeared from sight.

"We should call the police, they were both kidnapped!" Cha Eun exclaimed in a panicked state as worry etched on his face, even the logistics were slightly troubled at what they had witnessed from the footage played, they thought it was a good idea to phone the police and inform them.

"No." Dae Hyun's reply left them in a sate of shock and confusion and everyone's attention fell on him.

"The police would take more time in getting to them, you do know they follow protocols and their so called protocols takes up a lot of time, who knows what might happen to them before then, it's better if we go ourselves, it'll be much faster." Dae Hyun suggested with a logical reasoning and Cha Eun nodded his head in affirmation, the logistics equally thought it was a smart suggestion.

"But..isn't that more risky? The abductors looked like professionals." Cha Eun pointed out, it wasn't that he was scared, he didn't want to make it worse.

"We don't have a choice or do you want to leave it to the police?" Dae Hyun questioned and he immediately shook his head in negation, he was ready to take the risk if it meant they would be out of danger sooner than later and the skies had darkened even more as nighttime quickly arrived, making him more uncomfortable knowing the girls were out there unsafe. With In Ra being behind it, there was no limit to what she would do to them, the thought of In Ra doing something extremely inhospitable made him highly uncomfortable, making his nerves wrack.

They focused their attention back on the screen as they followed the van with the CCTV cameras implanted on the road sides as it was a more developed area. Cha Eun's eyes didn't leave the screen as he watched the van move while praying inwardly that they weren't hurt badly.

The van moved into a less developed area like an abandoned area and they could no longer follow the van as no CCTV was placed in the abandoned area but it was enough to tell them where the girls were held hostage.
