CHAPTER 35

So Ra ran after Dae Hyun as he walked down the stairs from the rooftop.

"I'm really sorry sir, I can't lose my job please." She pleaded as she held a tiny fragment of his shirt in fear that he would sack her for her outrageous accusations. Dae Hyun would have loved to sack her since she irritated him a lot but he had to keep the mask of an Angel on in frony of everyone.

"I won't but let this be a warning that the next time you think of accusing me or anyone else based on your instincts, I won't think twice before getting you a sack letter." Dae Hyun said with a serious expression as he walked out on her, leaving her with a deeply bowed head in apology and thanks.

Min Hye noticed Dae Hyun walking in a few minutes late to his office as he gave her a charming smile and she returned it with a small one as she pondered on what made him lag on his early check ins because he was always punctual and earlier than her.

Dae Hyun was in his office preparing the invites for the guests list on the opening of their new branch two weeks from then, when a thought popped in his head and a grin tore through his face. He added Yoo Na's name in the guests list for the party, she would definitely have no doubt about him as she would never guess that the real culprit would be trying to get close to her or even go as far as helping her catch him which was ironic but fun.

Dae Hyun and Min Hye spent the night in his house as he made dinner for her like a dutiful husband and she admired everything about him as usual especially how he was good at switching sides from good to bad and vice versa. They ate and chatted a bit over dinner about unnecessary things, with Dae Hyun avoiding the real talk with her. "Why did you come in late at the office?" Min Hye blurted out curiously as they both sat on the couch.

"What?" Dae Hyun stared at her for a minute as if he was reading her. He admired the fact that she noticed even the smallest details of things he did.

"I'm just curious that's all." She stated as she averted her gaze from his, looking uninterested.

"So Ra texted me to meet her on the rooftop." Dae Hyun said with lack of focus on the topic as his smoky grey eyes locked with hers.

"Why did you go?" She asked with brows twisted in pure jealousy as she stared at him with slightly widened eyes.

"She was throwing baseless accusations at me." Dae Hyun replied and her jealousy filled face turned into an alarmed one.

"About your hobby?!" She asked with a wary look on her face but he didn't seem in the least worried which meant that it wasn't as serious as she thought it was.

"I've already taken care of it, so don't worry love." Dae Hyun said as he cupped her cheeks, lightly stroking it with his thumb.

"Ahh..I see..But what was it about?" She asked still but he placed his thumb on her soft lips as he said,

"Let's forget about it." He said and she didn't say another word as she locked gaze with desire swirling in his grey eyes. "It's fine then." She said as she moved closer to him. She wasn't bothered by the fact that he couldn't reproduce since she never really thought of having a kid.

"Aren't you bothered?" Dae Hyun asked even though he knew she wasn't.

"I never really got excited on the thought of being a mother one day." She said as she got off the bed and stood in front of him naked while Dae Hyun lifted his chin upwards to view her flawless naked body.
