Dein woke up from her sleep when her phone buzzed. With eyes still closed she searched for her phone on the side table. She blinked her eyes to clear her vision and read the message.

Unknown:

●Come to the company at 9 am sharp. Someone will teach you about the company policies and tour you around.

'Why am I not even surprised that he got my number?' Dein thought and got up. It's currently 7 am and she needs to get up to get ready.

She did her morning routine and wore a formal outfit, black skirt that reaches just an inch higher to her knee and has a three inches cut on the side showing a bit of skin. Dein never liked wearing stockings and just went with her toned bare legs.

Dein honestly loves dressing up but due to lack of money, she cannot impulsively just buy clothes that aren't needed, it's a waste of money.

Her top was a white blouse and long sleeves. She wore a white spaghetti strap inside because the cloth was thin. The blouse was a v-neck and showed her seductive collar bone.

The white color made her almost angelic, adding to the fact that she has a white porcelain skin which she got from her mother.

She paired the outfit with a black two inch high heels and that completes her overall look. She looked at her appearance and smiled in satisfaction. Her body had curves in the right places and her stomach and legs were toned.

Make-up is a must when it comes to work. With a little amount of powder and a red glossy tint, she's done. Her face is naturally smooth because she still takes care of her skin even with just some skin care products.

She grabbed her purse and put her important necessities inside before walking out of her small apartment. While walking, she took out her phone to search the location of the company but she heard a car beep making her gaze shift on its location.

The luxurious car's window opened revealing Lucas. Dein almost snorted at how cool he looked at that moment.

Dein went to the car and just sat in the front seat. Call it shameless but it's good to save money and it isn't like the man cares.

"Have you eaten breakfast?"

"Mmm." Dein answered with murmur.

They arrived at the Carlton building and Dein can't help but feel amazed at how huge it is. The building has fifty-one floors including the rooftop. The walls were made of mirrors which reflected the bright blue sky.

They entered and all of the employees bowed at Lucas as he passed them. Dein followed behind him and ensured a safe distance. They arrived at Lucas's office which is located at the 50st floor. The elevators were high qualities making the travel a lot faster.

Lucas' secretary greeted them as they entered his spacious office. His office was in complete gray color, his desk was at the center part of the room. There were shelves located at the corner along with two couches and a glass center table.

The other side of the room has a door which leads to his penthouse.

"This is Neid, my secretary. He will tour you around to let you familiarize the whole building." Lucas introduced and Neid waved his hands at Dein.

Neid wore a formal dark blue suit, he was good looking and had fair white skin. But what mostly caught Dein's attention is his small eyes, he has monolid eyes and because of this, his eyes closes whenever he smiles. Dein couldn't deny the man's cuteness.

"Hi! Dein right?" He asked and Dein nodded.

"Then shall we go?" He said and the both went to the elevator.

"The whole 50st floor only consists of Lucas' office and penthouse. So we're gonna start at the bottom." Dein noticed he called Lucas' informally, they must be close to each other.

"Anyway, how's it been with Lucas pfft- he must have annoyed you multiple times." Neid said chuckling.

"How'd you know?"

"Of course I know! He's been nervously asking me how to approach you." he bursted laughing "He's so smart but he can be really stupid when it comes to love." he said after laughing.

Dein noticed something from his words.

"Love…?" she uttered.

Neid looked at her "You don't know?" Dein felt confused. What does he mean?

"Know what?"

Neid shook his head with a smile "He didn't tell you, huh…" he shifted his gaze towards Dein"When he saw you in the alley...that guy fell in love with you. He doesn't know the term but based on what he said, it seems like he felt love at first sight." he said with a small smile.

Dein looked at him dumb-foundedly.

Neid chuckled at her reaction, he turned his gaze in front with a small smile "You couldn't believe it right?...Me too at first. But when I saw how agitated he was when he asked me for help, I knew that his feelings to you were true. It might be strange, but it's true." he glanced at Dein's reaction and shifted his gaze immediately.

Few seconds later and the elevator opened "Okay then, let's talk about this some other time and let's start."

Neid showed her the different departments and stated details about their functions and other details, Dein took them down on her phone and listened to his every word. Dein was a fast learner and has been first at her previous schools. She has a good memory and she understands complicated things easily, making people envious about her.

After a few hours, Dein can feel her feet hurting. Her shoes were only two inch tall but she wasn't used to wearing them. However, she doesn't want to cause any trouble on her first day. She hid the pain and just tried to stay calm and collected while walking until her feet felt numb.

"That was all and for your office. It was the room in front of Lucas, since you're his PA you need to stay as close to him as possible." Dein's eyes widened. No one told her she's gonna be his PA!

Neid noticed her expression and face palm "He didn't tell you did he..? Ugh! That guy." he groaned.

"I'm sorry Dein, he actually specifically asked you to be his PA." he said, sounding apologetic.

Dein sighed "It's fine."

"Okay then. I left Lucas' schedule on your desk. You should review them."

"Understood." Dein answered and Neid nodded then left.

Dein walked to the elevator and went to her office. Her office has see-through glasses and Lucas can clearly see her with the blinds open. She felt awkward.

However, her office is quite spacious. The left corner has shelves on the wall and there were two single couches with a small glass center table near the glass wall. Her table and chair were placed at the middle part of the room while on the right side was a gray wall with an abstract painting hanging to create a professional accent on it.

Dein sat on the chair and she was quite surprised at how comfortable it was. Her table is made of glass and the files Neid mentioned here cleanly placed on it.

She opened the files and started to familiarize herself unto them. She doesn't want people to criticize her that she only got to the company because of Lucas' interest in her. Dein wants to show what she got.
