Ch 13 Blood Of The Dragon

After leaving the dungeon I turned into my shadow form and floated myself to the Kings chamber.

I floated past the two kings guard at his door and slipped under it.

I moved deeper into the chamber and spotted King Viserys and the Queen sleeping on separate beds.

We continued dinner and Aegon kept asking me questions about how to tame a Dragon.....

"Tell me Brother, do you wish to tame one as well?" I asked while looking at the sniveling coward.

"Aegon, You can tame a dragon when you are Older." Father spoke 

Aegon grew angry 

"Why does he get to claim a Dragon and I don't, I'm Older than him!!!?" Aegon shouted.

{"Because I am the Blood of the Dragon!"} I spoke in High Valyrian but Aegon didn't understand most of it.

I scoffed.

{"Witness him...he doesn't even understand the language of our ancestors."} I spoke and everyone who understood looked between me and Aegon while comparing us.

{"Stop treating him like that Maegor.....He is still your elder brother!!!"} Father scolded me 

{"Yes.....you are right....but I am also right....he needs discipline if you hope to mold him into someone great....all I see now is a weak boy."} I responded while looking down at Aegon who was struggling to make out my words.

{"Sending the first Prince to squire would thoughen him up, he is still young but he would grow into it like Maegor."} Corlys spoke 

{"Are you calling my firstborn weak Corlys?"} The King asked angrily.

{"My King.....they are both the same age....one can best twenty of my knights on the training yard in one day...the other cannot best a drunken squire."} Corlys spoke firmly and Viserys nodded.

{"Perhaps both of you are right.....still, mabey we just need to get Aegon a Magical Milk Maid as well....I wonder if I can order one from Asshai....."} The King joked and we all laughed heartily while I kissed Hilde on the cheeks.

We continued eating and taking as slowly everyone loosened up except for Rhaenyra and Aegon.

I had given Harrold a strengthening potion....... his power and strength was five times what it used to be, his aging joints and sprained body rebuilt itself to be faster and stronger, he just needed to adjust to his newfound power.

My new moves taught by Corlys did little to beat this Swordmaster but they did help widen my attacks on Uncle Harrold.

He was pleasantly surprised by my new moves but quickly grew to defend against all of them easily especially after the Strengthening serum.

We battled hard for an hour of nonstop attacks, Parries, Blocks, and dodges as we danced around the training yard.

I noticed the entire Royal Family had arrived earlier and they sat while watching both of us spar.

King Viserys looked on in amazement at the speed and strength his son showed.....after catching Maegor with his wife, Viserys tended to ignore his second son and only spoke to him on few occasions.

He didn't hate Maegor, and better him fulfilling his wife's needs than some random man to bed the queen..... or so the King thought.

he couldn't Satisfy the queen after his impotence so he knew it'd happen eventually.

But now he looked at just how powerful Maegor really was and it made him think back to his son's words. {'Because I am the Blood of the Dragon'} and this was the first time Viserys truly saw what he meant.

After we sparred for an hour and a half I had won four times and lost twenty seven times.....an amazing feat since I restricted my Vampiric strength to his level....

When we had finished, Harrold brought me into a hug. "You have improved greatly, I'm so proud of you." Uncle Harrold Spoke.

"Only because I didn't want you to give me a hiding for slacking in my swordsmanship." I responded and he laughed out loud as we walked to the Royal family.

"Big Bwother you are Soooo strong!!!!" Haelena shouted and jumped into my arms.

"And you are Soooo cute." I responded and kissed her chubby cheeks before setting her down.

I then greeted my mother with a hug and she kissed my cheeks talking about how proud she was of me.

Then I turned to look at Aegon who scowled at me.

"Let's Practice little brother, how do you expect to carry Blackfyre if you don't know how to use a sword?" I asked Aegon.

"I know how to use a sword!!!" He screamed.

"Go on Aegon Practice With your brother, you are first born after all." Viserys spoke while looking at his sniveling runt..... Viserys actually asked the maesters if there was an issue with Aegon but they told him that he only looks inadequate compared to Maegor.....compared to kids his age Aegon was actually well developed.

He urged his son to go and spar so we did.

I strapped Aegon in everything necessary so he wouldn't be hurt and we began Practice.

Soon enough Hilde And Laena came back from the gardens to watch us as I trained the little Rat 

He was completely useless but he learned a few things in the few hours that we trained, the only issue was that he tried out too fast.

When we finally walked towards dinner I spoke with father. "He learns fine, his issue is that he tires out too fast, he needs to run more and build endurance." I told the King.

He nodded and ordered a dedicated trainer for Aegon, the Kingsguard don't always have free time and Harrold has an excuse because of My monstrous talent which would be wasted of somebody else trained me.

We reached the dining hall and I sat between my Women as they spoon fed me.

"Only babies get spoon fed Maegor." Rhaenyra said as if trying to insult me.

He didn't speak any further and we finished dinner.

When I got to just outside of her room I spotted Ser Erryk of the Kingsguard outside of her room alongside ten more Targeryen guards...seems after my harmless fun she needed to be better guarded.

Erryk and Arryk Cargyll are both members of the Kingsguard right now, Arryk loves me and thinks of me like a little brother, he doesn't guard me often but we always get along.

Erryk on the other hand is a Lap dog For Rhaenyra, he never liked me or my brother and it's easy to tell....in the future both brothers would end up on opposite sides, and it seemed that history would repeat itself.

I moved as a shadow past Erryk and the guards and into Rhaenyra's room.
