Karium Maselli awoke from his sleep and he finds himself still sitting on the bank of the Dismont River, leaning to a tree, but... the Princess was nowhere to be seen.

He didn't even know how he fell asleep but it seemed to be quite late now.

The Prince get back on his feet and glanced around his surroundings, looking for the problematic Avarian Princess. However, it was futile.

Then one of the soldiers whom he arranged for the Princess's safety came to him and bowed. "Your Highness, the Princess left with her guard a while ago. She said she has something to do and also told us not to wake you up because you're tired. She said she will see you at the ball."

She was the one who was tired, not him.

She had something to do? It made Prince Karium wondered what it would be. However, his surroundings that had started to become dark forbid him from thinking further. "Let's return to the palace. It's late."
