13 A new start?

When the morning has arrived my eyes were slowly opening and I could see clearly again. Fumiko was touching my nose gently as if she was testing how much time this method needed to wake me up from my sweet sleep.

''So you finally woke up, Fudo.'' She whispered making a sweet smile as she stuck her body closer to mine.

The light of the early day was shining upon her beautiful hair and she was more splendid than ever.

''Apparently...'' I mumbled as any half-asleep person would do.

''Did you have a fun time last night?'' She asked giggling.

I tried as much to not blush but in the end, I still blushed a bit since she impresses me that much with her presence around me that I could hardly resist reacting in any way.

''As if you don't know.'' I admitted and kissed her cheek.

''W-Well... I had fun too, a long time has passed since we last did such a thing.'' She replied back, now she was the one blushing.

''I am very glad to hear that.'' I said smiling.

Arisen from my bed, I went to the kitchen so I can make some coffee, this part of the day was most soothing from any other and it helped me calm a bit while enjoying drinking a coffee and reading a book if it happened for me to be alone which was most of the times.

''Wait for me a bit.'' I said in a tired voice.

''Will do.'' Replied Fumiko waving her hand.

When I got back with the coffee she was sitting on the bed and the coverlet was changed, everything now being arranged.

''You should've let me do it.'' I complained handing her a cup of coffee.

''But I was quite bored so I had to do something...'' Fumiko said pouting.

''Okay then.'' I said with my eyes closed and then opened them up so I can sit properly beisde her on the bed.

Now, sitting on the bed I was once again regretting getting up from in the first place. Fumiko smelled the coffee and took a few sips, it seemed like she was enjoying it.

''So, are you excited to study at this academy?'' She asked taking her cup of coffee into both of her hands.

''I guess so, it's something new for me.'' I replied turning my head to the window to look at the sunlight that was shining upon the window of my room.

I could feel that for the few seconds I was staring at the window she was looking. But little did I know, she started talking right after she probably thought I was noticing her.

''Ehh, nothing else to be excited about? For example... hmm... like meeting new people and making new friends?' Fumiko whined.

''Those are also things to be looking forward to but I just didn't think of them first, haha.'' I admitted touching my neck with my right hand while leaning farther from her since she seemed to be pretty loud about this.

''Fudo-kun, you're always so forgetful.'' She stated while laughing as if it was something very funny.

''Haha...'' I laughed rolling my eyes.

''Anyway, you should get ready, it's the first day so you shouldn't be late.'' Fumiko said.

''Wait, you aren't coming with me?'' I asked confused.

''I have some things to fulfill.'' Fumiko said getting up from the bed, intending that she wanted to go change clothes so that she can also begin the day.

I also got ready and soon enough I was in front of the academy I was supposed to attend for a certain amount of time.

The academy was surrounded by some huge walls and when I had to enter it, the gatekeeper was standing right at the entrance and he was verifying the identity cards of the students that wanted to get through the academy.

It took some time until the line before I entered, probably around 5 minutes or so, even though there were only about 15 kids before me he also had to check if they had some restricted objects in the academy's area on them.

''Please show me your identity card.'' He said with a tired and hoarse voice.

''Sure.'' I replied giving him the identity card Fumiko gave me after telling me the location of this place.

He then checked if I had anything on me, luckily I stocked every weapon I have in the inventory built in my system so I kind of broke the laws of this school from the first day, actually, that's an understatement, I broke the laws of this school the moment I stepped in it for the first time.

But, before entering through the gates I took a glimpse at his badge, ''Malphas'' was written on it.

Now, after stepping into the grounds of this academy I was now seeing students talking, eating, and some, even arguing.

The sky was blue and clear during this stunning day. I got my eyes down from the sky to see more of this academy I was supposed to attend, it seemed that there were 3 main buildings, the one in the middle looking almost like a castle, the west building looking like a church while the one in the east was looking more like reinforcement building, probably a place where training took place but also a deposit for whatever they were keeping there.

''Haha, I am glad to hear that you are doing so well.'' A girl declared with a large smile to another girl who seemed to be her friend.

Stepping in the main building I was hearing a lot of voices but as I was going deeper into the crowd I felt a strange feeling, something that has not happened in a long time, I was feeling isolated, or, rather alone while being surrounded by people, everything was lively while I was walking through the main hall as if I wasn't really living in the real world, perhaps this is why I don't usually go in places where there are tremendous crowds.
