The mysterious man Part I

The doctor seemed taken aback. I laughed it off and let the nurse check the IV line. There were no excuses. I did not know if I could get to know him better. This man was to my liking, and it would be good if we could build a friendship like I had with other men before him.

The only sticking point was that he might be at a slight advantage, but that would depend on his actions and to what extent he could satisfy me.

But we probably could not do anything for now. I was still severely injured.

“Let’s just say we’ll let you rest first. If anything happens, please call me.”

“Thank you.” I smiled at the doctor and nodded to him as a good-bye. I was left alone with him. I still did not know who this mysterious man was.

But I liked him so much.

“Do you want me to stay and watch over you?”

“It’s up to you,” I said that even though I wanted to keep him here. “If you’re not busy, keep me company for a while. I don’t have any relatives. I don’t know who to call.”
