1 Distorted World

Nothing in this world is permanent, whether it be childhood, adulthood, lifestyle, surroundings, people and above all , our life.

The world is very materialistic and temporary in every way. People always wish to be happy and for that happiness they would try and do anything.

Harry, a 12 year old boy, who lives in a small town which isn't too backward and is from a upper middle class family. He was pampered and loved by everyone around him. He was the best in his school and his calm and quiet character was famous among all his friends and relatives. He was always there for everyone who needed his help and who were in trouble.

He grew up to be the same pampered and lovable person, for all who knew him. He joined college, and as it happens in college life, he too fell in love with a girl who was his junior, and as every failed lovestory, his love life also ended up as a failure as the girl he loved couldn't sacrifice everything for him, as they were from different religious backgrounds. She fell for someone else and she left him. He was in deep sorrow and depression for quite sometime, and then he tried coming out of it, and joined for his higher studies at a different place in a different country all together.

There he joined his college by forgetting his past and started a new life. He met new people, saw new faces, and was in a new atmosphere as a whole. He started loving his new life and new place , but still he was the same quiet and lovable person who was kind at heart and pampered at home by everyone. He got new friends and mingled with everyone around. Tried learning things he saw around, and tried adapting to the culture he was in at the place .

But as we all know , things that we learn and adapt with, in the childhood stays till our death. He too could not change whatever he had adapted in the childhood. And he could not take decisions of his own or judge a person whether he/she is good or bad etc. He believed whoever smiled at him was good and whoever was sweet to him was his wellwisher. There too he fell in love with a person and by then his parents looked for a girl to get him married and he couldn't say a no to his parents. He while in love with the other girl went to see the girl his parents had seen for him and agreed to get married.

His life changed drastically, he decided to leave the girl he loved and get married to the girl his parents had looked for. He and the girl he loved came to a mutual understanding and decided to sacrifice their love.

With his not very happy mind he got married and he started a new life yet again, he had to start his career along with that as he had finished his education.

He was confused which place and which field to stick to, he always had opinions from people around and he always opted those opinions of his loved ones. He never had courage to take a decision of his own, as he was always helped and given suggestion by everyone and he continued to follow it even after his marriage .

As we all know life after marriage is different, as men say, wives are mysterious and so does wives say about their husbands, and this argument has been continuing since ages and it will as long as this Humans exist.

Harry and his wife had loads of difference in opinion and his wife could not take his character of not having his own decisions and also for not having a privacy in their life as he shared every talks that his wife shared with Harry with his parents, specially his mom. They had loads of quarrel which were severe and went till the extent of divorce many a times. His wife gave up on him and could do anything rather than just living her life with such a person.

She was an independent girl who was born and brought up to be bold and live her life with her opinions and decisions.

Harry was just the opposite, he wanted people around him for everything he did, he couldn't take a decision of his own even though he went around the world and lived in many places. He got exposure to see people around but that didn't help him to become matured enough to live his life ahead by becoming bold.

Kids should be pampered but that pampering should not affect his or her life to which it would lead them to become shy, coward and scared to move ahead . We all love children but never become a barrier for their flourishing life. Never cut the wings of a bird who is learning to fly. The world is cruel and mean. We should be bold enough to move ahead and face the reality than closing our eyes and staying in darkness. Harry is one such victim. Victim of getting over pampered the bird whose wings have been cut down by his own loved ones.
