The black words written in bold letters on the white piece of paper caused unease within me. The name haunted me to no return but l couldn't bring myself to digest the new information l had just received 

Hilden was the person responsible for ruining Keira's life. Just like a tornado, he ripped her life to pieces with no remorse and he was playing family downstairs with the rest of her family 

Could he have not known this entire time or was he playing us? I don't remember much from that night but l surely would have remembered a face like his. Or did they meet elsewhere? But Keira had assured me that it was the guy responsible for her now gone virginity and the shame she brought to her family when she got pregnant out of wedlock

Would he want to take her from me now that he has risen from the ashes, but he couldn't because he had signed away his rights to be the father. He is an influential man, surely he would be able to cut a few corners
