Chapter 1

Emily Williams: a prosperous, stunning, benevolent young tycoon, the pride of her household lived peacefully with her parents. she is the youngest in their family of five; her dad Williams, her mom Elena, and her siblings Carlos and Jessica. being the youngest in the family, she was their center of affection.

Emily had a cute independent lifestyle which made her strange and unique but there was this strange aura of melancholy she possessed which Henry is always wishing to drive away from her.

Henry Garcia: a handsome young man in his early 30s. the son of late Antonio and Jasmine Garcia. he is the first child child of his parents whose death has remained a mystery. he had one sibling a girl called iris and he's always been secretly wishing to have pretty Emily. there was this feeling he always had whenever he set his eyes on her which made him always want to possess. he tried several times to approach her but what devastated him most was the fact that Emily wasn't even aware of his existence.

soon,he got to realise that Emily loved to party. his birthday was fast approaching and he invited several tycoons from the business world which included Emily Williams, the CEO of infinite airlines. the invitation got to Emily while she was in her office and she hurriedly packed up and triumphantly and headed home. when she got home, after parking her car at the parking lot,she ran excitedly into the house calling out to her sister

"sis! sis?"

"I'm here... I'm coming!!" Jessica shouted back from the kitchen and quickly wiped her hand on the tea towel before hurrying to the living room where she met Emily, walked over to her and embraced her lightly.

"what's all the excitement Emy?"

"guess what sis?"

"what?"

"I wanna go shopping today!!" she snapped loudly and Jessica put on a disappointed face.

"what?" Emily question coldly.

"I thought you were going to say you've fallen in love again..." Emily's expression turned sour immediately and a frown gradually formed on her face.

"look Emy I'm sorry... I know you don't want to fall in love again after you lost Fred, I'm very sorry!!". Emily in ignored her and scurried upstairs.

" I'm sorry lil sis!!..."

"I can't understand why Emily gets emotional at the mention of Fred" Carlos interrupted Jessica from behind as he took large strides towards her.

" it hurts Carlos, it hurts so much. I shouldn't have mentioned him, you know she really wants to move on."
