1 Chapter 1: Issa Struggle

BARTLETT HIGH SCHOOL..... just outside Memphis, it was like your normal average high school, there's designated tables during lunch, the cheerleaders are hella prissy, the principal is a frosty bitch and pretty much all the janitors an cafeteria ladies were from Guatemala! It was almost time for homecoming, which in high school culture is one of the most important times in a kids life (the others being prom an graduation) but this year was a lil different.....the school team, the Panthers, we're going to the championships, which meant the jocks were really feelin themselves! There was tight end Nick, running back Kevin, wide receiver Des, the offense brothers Jaylin an Kalin, and then Shawn...

"Black lightning" as they call him, he was the star quarterback an had colleges lined up from FSU to Perdue, an hell even Princeton! Had a all black Chevy Silverado an everything! Went to every party, got hella pussy, an lunch everyday he an the other jocks would sit at the table near the trophy case (of course) an had cheerleaders surround them as they talk all types of shit...

"Aye Nick, you still goin out wit big booty Brenda!" asked Shawn

"Nah nigga.....listen I love ass, but thats too much ass, she had to lean the seat alllll the way back just to FIT in my Camaro!

"You lucky that thang can even drive!" laughed Kalin

"What bout you Des, you still seein that tranny ooop I mean Brandy..." taunted Shawn

Shawn was incredibly rude, his ignorance was astounding! But because he was the ultra cool kid they gave him a pass, even the teachers let him slide because if he sat out 1 game it could cost the school the precious championship. An his friends would hype him up, pretty much kissing his ass....it was a huge ego trip, but karma would get Shawn in the ass soon!

In Mr Gutmans class, which was English, there was this kid Geloni...Geloni was an introvert, he only had 1 friend, Tre, he was also gay, and in high school being gay was tough sometimes. Kids can be very cruel and Geloni has been bullied before, mostly by Shawn an the other jocks but he brushes it off cause at the end of the day he knows he's better than that!

"Alright class your assignment is a short story, create it, live it, breathe it, because when you read it in front of the whole class in 2 weeks I will grade you on your performance!" said Mr Gutman

"Damn that ass is fat....." said Shawn who was looking at his phone while the teacher was talking

"Uh excuse me Shawn, no phones in my class!" said Mr Gutman

" Anything else sir..."

"Yeah, I suggest you straighten up an do this paper, cause youngblood your grades are drowning, if it wasn't for that varsity jacket an that championship ring your just another D- student." said Mr Gutman as he put Shawn in his place

An Geloni couldnt help but chuckle, seeing Shawn get chewed out like that was refreshing.....but Shawn noticed and verbally attacked Geloni,

"Geloni why don't you suck my dick! I mean you gay so I know you'll like it...."

"You skating on thin ice boy.....here Geloni, a library pass, you already did your work so you can use the computer," said Mr Gutman

Then Geloni went out into the hall, but he brokedown in the middle of the hallway! He tired of being bullied an just wish somebody would stand up to that homophobic asshole for once! He went to the computer room where Tre was,

"Hey baby whats wrong, you look like been cryin?'

"Shawn, he taunted me English class earlier an i'm fuckin tired of it!"

"Tell the teacher!" said Tre

"He was right there, he's black lighting..all they do is give him citations an let him go," said Geloni

"Um um um, a damn shame, you know this dude i'm dating, Tony, he a hood nigga, he got 5 guns man I wish a dude like Shawn would, Tony would take care of him for me,"

"God I wish I had that, Homecoming dance almost coming up and I don't know if I even wanna go, I don't have a date an plus I dont want Shawn an his jocks talkin shit the whole night." said Geloni

"Man fuck that tired ass dance, come wit me an Tony we goin to the carnival, thats way more fun....ooop I just got a text, my hood king waitin outside he takin me to Red Lobster!" said Tre all excited

"You must've fucked him good...listen i'm glad for you guys,"

"Aw thanks friend, and listen don't worry bout Shawn an them other dudes okay, you got my number." said Tre as he gave Geloni a hug

Geloni then went to his wattpad, his comfort zone when the world was too much of a burden, he would write all the fantasies on there and thats pretty much all he did, other than Tre he never really told anybody about his writing. But as much as Geloni resented Shawn an the jocks, he kinda wish he had their life...they were popular, had good looks, invited to all the hottest parties an just enjoyed life in general. When school was getting out Geloni went to his locker to get his stuff out, when Shawn an his jocks walked by an suddenly knocks the books out if his hand...

"Whats up fruitcake.." said Shawn

"Why don't leave me alone,"

"What you gon do bout it lil bitch....where's yo rainbow crew at, what they too busy gettin dick in the booty," said Shawn as his jock friends laughed with him

Suddenly Geloni SHOVED Shawn, then a crowd started to form around them an watched as they thought Geloni an Shawn we're about to fight, but Shawn decided to back off,

"Man this sissy aint even worth my time....I got practice, somethin real men do," said Shawn as he left

Geloni bent down to pick up his books, when surprisingly...Des, one of the jocks, got his books for him.

"Here, you okay," Des asked

"Why do you care?" Geloni asked

"You know some of us jocks got some sense...see ya around" said Des as he left

Later that evening Geloni was in his room, he was on his laptop when his mom, Brenda, walked in. Brenda knew her son was gay an that the bullying is a major issue, but the many times she went down to the school to get things straight it was never resolved! She would worry bout Geloni sometimes, his dad, the many uncles, cousins were homophobic too.....an the lack of accepting kids in the neighborhood made Geloni feel very lonely. But Brenda wanted Geloni to be happy,

"Hey baby, you doing you're homework?"

"Yeah I just finished.....sometimes I wish I wasn't gay," Geloni said

"Why you say that?" Brenda asked

"These other guys, my dad, it's like everybody else hates me for it!"

"I know, an it's hard to watch you come home sad, knowing what them other boys be sayin to you.....but don't you dare hate yourself! You are who you are an thats okay! When you have nobody you have me," said Brenda

"Shawn messed wit me today at my locker, I pushed him, I know I can't fight but it felt good!" Geloni said

"An I'm not even upset, that boy deserves a good beatdown!"

"But one of them jocks, Des, he picked up my books an asked if I was alright....I don't know,"

"Well hey any friend helps, who knows maybe that's a sign from God that this boy is into you, just keep an eye out..

Geloni started thinkin about Des, I mean he was really really cute, an he seems mature, but maybe he was just being nice...after all he does have a girlfriend. But meanwhile in the Sky somewhere was this fireball, an it was headed for earth....
