1 Chapter - 1

"What is true power?" spoke a voice softly.

"Do you want to attain power?"

Unable to feel anything but, able to speak he weakly calls out, "I do"

"Do you wish for a second chance?" spoke that voice once more.

"I do"

"Do you wish for vengeance on those who stole your light away from you?"

"More than anything"

"Would you cut down your own humanity for the sake of that wish?"

"I would!"

"Swear to us, swear an oath to us that you shall enact your revenge and destroy anything in your path!" suddenly 4 figures come out of the darkness.

"I swear"

"Swear in blood my dear" Suddenly one of the figures pulls out a blade that looks no larger than your average dagger.

The man takes the blade and leaves a small cut on his forearm and lets it drip to the floor. As soon as the blood hits the floor a blinding light obscures everything.

All four voices whisper as the mans consciousness fades, "Go forth, from now till the day your new life ends you are..."
