Day 1

A day passed and I stood in front of the grave of Wade Lawliet, waiting for the incident to happen, at 7:50 p.m.

Ryuk: "So, are you done staring at a grave?"

Kira: "While I was writing all those names, you were hovering above me. Why don't you know what I'm doing here?"

Ryuk: "I know enough, but I need my apples more than seeing your experiments happen. Just write a 100 names at once, it'll be a lot faster."

Kira: "I should've killed you when I had the chance. You're useless. Who made you the God of death?"

Ryuk: "You do realise that you could've asked me instead of experimenting on so many humans right?"

Kira: "It's more reliable to confirm some things myself. Secondly, I don't trust you as much as you think."

Ryuk: "That's it. I'm writing your name in my death note if you don't pass it to someone else."

Ryuk's face turned from a smile to a frown for the very first time.

Kira: "Hahahaha..."

Ryuk: "Hey! Why are you laughing? I'll get withdrawal symptoms if you don't get me apples...You got to understand this from my point..."

I burst into laughter looking at how I had bonded with a shinigami.

Then I looked at the time. It was 8:10 and nothing happened. I decided to go home.

While leaving, I saw a helicopter land near the graveyard. A man hunched back similar to Ryuk and with eyes similar to that of an an owl exited the helicopter. The man looked at my face for a moment, and entered the graveyard.

What a weird man, I thought to myself.
