8 Ch8. Three Goddesses walk into a shop, the shop tender says..

"Hmm everything seems fine, you feel any different Haru?" Miach sat on an old chair besides Haru's bed, Naaza had brought him here after he had passed out.

"I feel fine." Haru flexed his scrawny arms as to prove his point, the action making Miach chuckle.

"Alright, try and get some rest then. I'll wake you up when dinners ready." Miach got up and moved the old chair beside the door before leaving the room and closing the door so Haru could get some sleep.

Walking out to the front, the calm and friendly god felt a twitch in his eyebrow at the sight before him.

"It's not fair! Why did he choose you over me!" Loki got up in Miachs face with an accusatory stare, like maybe Miach had played a trick on the boy somehow?

"Rather then that…why did you all have members of your familias spying on him?" Miach gazed around the room at a few arrogant faces and a few who looked ashamed.

"He looks mad…" Naaza mumbled casually as the others beside her looked on at the normally calm man giving the other three goddesses a death stare of sorts.

"Come now Miach, it's not our intention to hurt the boy." Freya spoke up with a soothing yet worried tone, she wanted to go see the child but Miach was being unreasonable.

"Why you even here you rusty farm tool!" Loki growled out at Freya who chuckled.

"Who said I couldn't be? And a rusty farm tool?" Freya smirked making Loki grit her teeth.

"Yeah, I'd call you a hoe, but that be an insult to the profession." Loki smiled in joy as that had gotten a raise out of Freya who turned beet red in anger.

"Ladies, this is unbecoming of us. As much as I would love to see you two fight all out and get sent back too heaven, at least wait for my business to conclude." Ishtar let out a haughty smirk as the two turned to her.

"Close your legs skank, I can smell your breath!" Loki gave Ishtar the finger and turned her attention back to Miach.

"How rude, Miach, I've come to bargain." Ishtar ignored both women and sauntered towards the annoyed god.

"I wish to buy that boy. How much?" Ishtar straightened her back and smiled as the room went silent…

'Oh no she didn't.' Bete looked at the woman with wide eyes and his hand moved towards his blade as he stood.

Yup, todays the day he mercs a goddess.

"Sit down Bete." Lokis cold voice spilled out like an artic wind, cold and empty.

"I'll give you ten seconds to leave before I send my children to the red light district, and you won't like what they'll do…" Loki moved close to Ishtar, her eyes fully opened and staring at Ishtar with unbridled rage.

Everyone was taken aback except Freya, she wholeheartedly planed on sending Ottar after that filthy frog face captain as a lesson.

"Hmph, I'll leave for now..but I'll have what I want, and I WANT that boy." Ishtar turned and left the blue pharmacy with a smile on her face, her ass swaying back and forth as she walked away from the building gleefully humming.

Charms are a powerful thing you see, and after seeing Samantha so smitten she took a peek for herself, oh boy she likes what she sees.

'I'll make him my pet, make him love me and only me.' A smile spread further at the thought of such a powerful weapon under her.

Sneaking slightly towards the door, Haru cracked it open and eavesdropped on the conversation.

Not like he needed too, he could clearly hear them, he just felt like this was more of an enjoyable and practical experience for a young man too have.

He felt like a rebel, a bad boy! Hehe no one can stop his eavesdropping ways!

Even if they tried, he was unusually silent…

'Ehem focus!' Haru shook his head as he heard a voice he recognized shouting bloody murder and another hushing it.

.

.

.

"That filth stupid dumb cumdum——mphhh" Ais moved her hand over Lokis mouth to stop her from shouting out and waking Haru.

Ais scrunched her face as Loki licked her palm with a perverted look in her eyes.

Haru wasn't even in her familia and he was already handing her a win!

"Miach, please allow me to see him…if only for a minute?" Freya gave a pleading look as Miach shook his head and sighed.

"He's asleep now, he should be up in a few hours, maybe noon."

Freya let out a soft sigh, should she force it? No, that wouldn't end well…she needed to tread carefully.

"Very well, I'll take my leave then." Freya turned and walked to the pharmacy's front door before turning and looking at Ais and Loki.

"Oh before I forget, Ais dear you should be carful when touching that flatboard, you may get a splinter." Freya left the store before Loki could retaliate, she smiled as Ottar walked behind her…lokis yelling voice carried on the wind so nice the further she got away from her.

In Ottars hands was an extravagantly carved box that Freya couldn't help but keep glancing at…. 'Next time then.'

.

.

.

"I'm calm again, but that woman's one to talk!" Loki had spent five minutes insulting Freya to the point even Ais had a blush on her face over how crass her goddess had been.

Miach looked at the women who's non-existent chest was heaving as she stood around multiple broken vials and boxes.

"Oh dear, I'm gonna have to charge you for all that by the way!" Miach smiled again as Loki shot him a glare.

"YOU!!!" Loki stomped over to the chair Miach had sat on while watching the goddess flailing about with her wounded pride.

"ME?" Miach pointed to himself.

"How dare you steal him from me! Have you no shame Miach!?" Loki huffed as she looked into her old friends eyes.

"The boy is free too choose, he chose me. Plus you're an exploration familia and Haru doesn't wish to go into the dungeon." Miach pulled out a glass of water from under the counter and took a sip.

'Huh? Where that come from? Not important Loki!' Loki shook her head and slumped her shoulders.

She could challenge Miach to a rating game for the child, but that would make her look petty as well as put Haru on a grand stage for all the other gods and goddesses to see.

Sigh

"You win." Loki didn't want to cause too much trouble for Miach, he was one of the only good male gods that were around.

He helped her when she first arrived by helping her get her feet on the ground when she decended to the mortal world, by helping her find a home and a few familia members.

He even gave her a near unlimited supply of potions for her children in the dungeon in the early days and would just tell her too pay him back when she could.

(AN: I made this up, I just greatly like Miach as a god and wanted him to shine!)

"Well if you were to order from me regularly, I could send Haru as a delivery boy…if you want to dote on him while he's there then so be it." Miach shrugged his shoulders as Lokis eyes gained back some light.

"Are we just going to ignore this?" Riveria poked Naaza's arm causing the girl to jump as she didn't even notice the elf woman appear beside her.

This caused both gods to turn their attention to Naaza making her blush shyly.

"This isn't possible, I mean it was or is depending if you use some truly potent healing arts or treasures, but such spells and items are nearly extinct." Riveria looked at the arm and even noticed it seemed to be even better then the opposite arm.

"I don't know, I looked over his Falna and it's blank…are you sure it was Haru?" Miach looked at the fidgeting Naaza.

"Yes, it's just like I told you! I came out to apologize for my rude behavior and he was on fire… then whoosh!" Naaza waved her arms as she adamantly recounted the events.

"A blinding light later and there he stood, a man…" Naazas face grew red at the memory, if that's what Haru was going to grow up to become, the ladies of Orario were in trouble.

"You said his Falna was blank?" Riveria looked at Miach with a scrutinizing stare, wondering if the god was hiding something.

"That's not possible, everyone has at least one skill..useful or not." Riveria felt like the boy was a mystery wrapped up in an enigma, with a nice tight bow of confusion.

"Can we stop and just appreciate how awesome my lil brother is?" Bete spoke up as he motioned at Naaza.

"This is a real gift, and instead of asking how, we should be seeing if it can be repeated!" With an ability like this, Bete knew no harm would come to Haru, such a healing ability would be protected by the top dogs of Orario for obvious reasons.

If Haru could do it again, no powerful adventurers would be crippled out of action again.

This was a big win for both Haru and the adventurers guild, Such a treasure needs too be kept safe.

"I hate to say it but Betes right." Finn spoke up and walked over to Miach and Loki.

"With your permission may we try and confirm this ability?" Finn waited as a thoughtful look graced his face.

"If Haru wishes to to use this ability to help others then I shall not oppose it. But it WILL be done in an area he can be protected." Miach put his foot down on the matter, Now hopefully the ability could be used again.

If it could, then Haru could save the Miach Familia from that scum Dian.

Haru quickly but quietly made his way back to the bed as he heard everyone shuffling about and a large group leave the shop.

As he layed down, he brought up his system panel and took a look at the new skill Phoenix's Grace.

[Phoenix's Grace Rank 7 - This skill gives the user the abilities of the immortal Phoenix, allowing for near immortality and a godly healing ability. Even if your target is in two, as long as their not dead you can restore them! Upon reaching Rank10 the ability will upgrade into 'The Life Nirvana'.]

The life nirvana?

That sounded OP as all heck, Haru would avoid it until absolutely necessary.

So the more points he puts into any ability the better it ge—- heh?

'What the catholic cotton socks? When did I get all these!'

So many skills…..
