Ch3. Cat, Dog, Shota

After the heart felt moment that was ended by a little tummy rumble, both brothers decided to find something cheap to eat using what little funds Bell had.

This lead them to a food stall selling some kind of potato treat…jura? Kukusomethingmajig, honestly that word was way to confusing and Haru gave up after a solid four tries making the vendor laugh his butt off.

Rather then be offended at the vendor though, Haru was happy. The vendor gave them both another on the house for making him laugh so much.

With food now in their bellies, both decided to head to the Guild in the center of the city, it would take about an hour at a steady pace according to the food vendor.

He wasn't joking to the dismay of Bell, the hot summer sun was beating down on his back as he held Haru's hand with his own sweaty one.

Subconsciously, Bell let go of Haru's hand for what felt like a second to wipe his own hand. He didn't want Haru to have to hold onto his sweaty palm the whole way to the guild after all.

That split second however was all it took as a massive crowd of people suddenly came out of a building, splitting both of the brothers up as Bell was pulled along and Haru was gently pushed closer to the building.

Suddenly split from his brother, Haru began to panic as he stood on his tippy toes trying to see over the crowd of people in armor? Strange… they all looked super strong and Haru was noticed by one of them…

"Haru??!!" Suddenly a man rushed forward startling his comrades as he picked Haru by his armpits to get a better look at him.

"It's really you…" the man's eyes suddenly teared up as he held Haru up before pulling him into a deep hug, gentle sobs began as the man began to apologize and ask for forgiveness.

Haru was super confused at the man who suddenly assaulted him, clearly he had the wrong person…but the hug was nice so Haru didn't mind.

"BETE!" Suddenly a loud shout was heard as a green haired woman suddenly tried to get the man's attention.

This finally roused the man as he looked up, his face stained with tears.

This made his companions wince as they had never seen such a side of Bete before, however one red head in short shorts and a tube top was instead staring at the confused looking child in her child's arms.

Loki in all her eons had never seen something so impossible, every single strand of hair, every cell of this child's skin…

"cute"

Loki turned when she heard the near inaudible remark, "did you say something Ais?"

The blonde woman shook her head after a silent moment and just kept her attention on the child.

"Um…mister! Are you ok?" Haru's cute and quite voice suddenly rang out like a choir of angels.

Bete felt like his chest would explode as he looked at the worried face of the child before him.

"You don't remember me do you Haru?" Bete asked and braced himself for the answer.

However before Haru could answer…

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY TREASURE!"

*BANG*

A cute woman in a green maid dress came out of the building in the blink of an eye and round housed the crying man so fast her leg caused the air to crack like a whip, sending the man flying across the street.

Haru once again found himself in another stranger's embrace, this time a clearly feminine one which made him blush.

The smell of lilac and gooseberries flooded his nose, a smell that reminded him of the orphanage and one of the sisters who always demanded hugs from him as he was her 'greatest treasure'.

He always felt that sister was a weirdo, but she was nice so who cares in the end, Haru loves hugs!

"That creep didn't hurt you did he!" The woman kept Haru in her arms as two other of the strange maids came out of the building, one of them looked right at Haru with a stare that could pierce the heavens as the other let out a sigh.

"Alright Syr, you grab her legs and I'll get her arms, with any hope we can free the poor child from Chloe's grasp." However Ryuu looked back as she noticed Syr staring at the child with a blush.

Before she could ask what was going on a voice suddenly brought everyone's attention.

"Hey kid? Why you here alone? Where's your parents?" Loki walked forward, her legs moving her unknowingly as it did with Syr.

Both woman drawn to the small boy in Chloe's arms.

"I don't have parents, I'm an orphan.." however before Haru could say he had a brother now though he felt a near death grip on his body as the woman suddenly pulled him closer, burying his face in her bussom.

'Just like that weird sister' was Haru's thought as the woman's smell drowned his nose.

This whole situation seemed ridiculous to Ryuu, So much fuss over such a cute kid… she definitely wasn't jealous or anything…

"Odr" Ryuu heard Syr mumbling as she shuffled closer to the small child and it was causing her hairs to stand up.

So Ryuu stepped in front of Syr and called out to the only person who could solve this odd situation.

"Mama Mia!"

Seconds later a plump yet attractive middle aged woman came out of the building and stood in front of everyone. "The hells going on out here?"

Mia Grande looked around at all the faces, noticing the Loki familia was still around after paying the bill confused her. They normally left for home or the dungeon after eating and paying.

However another sight took her attention and stirred up her motherly instincts at the same time, Chloe had what must have been the cutest child in the world in her arms.

"Chloe…let…the…boy….go…" a stern yet…jealous voice was hear by the Neko that made her ears flatten to her head.

"B-but mama!!! I don't wanna!" Chloe gave Mama Mia her best 'puppy dog eyes' but to no avail as the woman disappeared and reappeared right beside her and pried her from the boy, leaving her feeling cold and empty inside.

"You alright kid?" Mia looked down at the breathtaking little child that riled up her protective side something fierce…

"Yeah, I got separated from my big brother when all these people came out of your building!" The boy looked around at everyone and then up at the building, finally noticing the sign.

"Hostess of futility?" Haru tilt his head as he couldn't properly see the sigh, getting an audible 'too cute' out of someone in the crowd.

"Hahahaha, it's hostess of fertility little man. But close enough!" Mia couldn't help but stare at the little kid and smile at how he scrunched his eyebrows in an attempt to read the sigh. He looked so focused.

"This is all nice and find but what do you mean you we're separated from your brother?" Once again Loki spoke up gaining everyone's attention once again.

"Oh! Yeah me and my big brother are on our way to the adventures guild to sign up!" Haru moved his hands as he explained in an exciting tone about his and Bells plans.

Oblivious, Haru was…too the dark looks on everyone's faces there be.

"Unacceptable, you are far to cu-ahem young to go anywhere near the dungeon!" Chloe caught herself as she moved closer to the boy before mama Mia once again pulled her back by her uniform collar.

"Oh, I'm not going anywhere near any scary monsters! I'm just going along to support my big bro!" Haru gave everyone a wink and a thumbs up.

"Well, I'll send a few of my children with you too find your brother and escort you to the guild then…Ais, Lefiya! You're both headed to the dungeon, mind escorting the kid? Oh and you too Finn." Loki picked out three of her Familia members but sneakily pulled Finn aside.

"Try and get the kid to join will yeah." Loki whispered without her eyes ever leaving the child.

Finn looked at his goddess and then to the child before back to Loki, his mind remembering the way he acts with Riveria, Ais and Lefiya.

'Definitely need to keep that kid away from Loki, for his own safety' if Loki knew what Finn was thinking she would have threw a tantrum at the misunderstanding.

"Umm, excuse me!" Suddenly a voice called out and before anyone could react, Haru shot out like a rocket towards a white haired teen that was pushing his way through the crowd of adventurers.

"Bell!!!!!!" Haru crashed into Bell at mock what the hell was that sending the teen stumbling back.

"Sorry we got separated Haru…" Bell gently rubbed his hand through Haru's dark locks as the little kid rubbed his face it bells chest.

"Oi, weakling! Fight me to prove you can protect him!" A collective sigh sounded by the Loki familia as a grey haired wolf finally woke up and challenged the teen named Bell.

Haru's eyes were suddenly drawn to something wildly shaking behind Betes back.

"Fluffy…"
