Now on the roof top of a hospital care center. Looking down, she realised, she was really high up. One mistake, and she succumbed to the darkness.

This is it. This is her end. Opening her eyes, expecting a new world, she was instead met with a pair of silver eyes. And from then on, her life was never the same.

What happened? How did she get here? Well, let's go back a few chapters.

*****

In a certain apartment in big city z. In the bedroom in that apartment. A girl was sprawled up on the bed, sleeping messily. She seems to be enjoying her time sleeping, until a loud noise, next to her pillow woke her up.

She sprang up, quickly taking her phone to stop that annoying ring tone.

She picked the call and spoke lazily into the phone, with her drowsy eyes.

"hello?".

And a little stern but cheerful voice sounded from the other line. " Good morning Selena, I hope you aren't still sleeping ".

With a sigh, she replied " I WAS, before you woke me up.

The next thing she heard was the shouting from the other end. " Girl, what are you still going in bed. It's almost noon".

" So, is there a life waiting for me" she said feeling a little bit tired of the morning lecture.

A sigh reached her " you truly are unbelievable. Okay. Please get dressed and meet me at tea time cafe ".

"Okay". And before cutting the call she heard the person from the other line mumbled " sigh, the only things coordinated in your life is your stories".

SELENA

That's kind of true, the only things coordinated in my life is my stories. I'm an author. Not your usual celebrity-like famous. Just the regular everyday author.

But the money I make is enough to sustain my basic daily living. But at least I'm a good author with lovely readers.

I quickly rushed to freshen up, had a light breakfast and left my apartment.

While walking on the road, I bumped into someone.

" Hey! watch where you are going" he said rudely to me. Was he serious. He literally was the one to walk straight at me, that's why I bumped into him.

He didn't even give me the opportunity to apologized for something that was majorly his fault. He just looked at me in disgust and stormed off.

"Seriously?!" I scoffed. Well I'm used to this kind of treatment. I'm always that person that never stood out among the crowd. I'm also often ignored. So I'm also kind of used to the awkward looks and silent treatment, I get when trying to make 'friends' with people.

I'm not much of a beauty that makes heads turn or are regarded. And most people don't hide how they truly feel. They say the hurtful things, for me to hear.

During my high school and university days, the mean popular girls, never miss an opportunity to make me feel bad.

I'm not good with boys, so they sometimes make fun of me, by purposely telling Boys to approach me, talk or sit with me. And they will plain out reject it, and some even go as far as to make disgusted faces as if I'm some disease.

Yeah I didn't care much, I didn't like them, or want them to like me, bit it still hurt. It continued through out my school life until I met my friend, a boy. He always found opportunities to sit and talk with me, when I'm alone .Which is like, all the time.

It was nice, but no matter how hard I tried to ignore it, I could still see the mockery in their eyes and the whispers and laughs directed at me.

Some people are just created to make other people lives miserable.

My appearance was pretty plain as well, nothing special. I have chestnut brown hair and plain brown eyes. yeah I have a nice body, but I didn't show it. I also wore glasses, I don't need them, and they aren't medical recommended, I guess I got comfortable in them. And I hoped they didn't bring attention to me. But I guess it didn't matter much.

After about half an hour, I arrived at my favourite cafe.Although the name was 'tea time café' it also serve coffee and some drinks too. And they have great snacks and desserts. And I know how much I can't stand my day without coffee with lots of cream in it.

As I entered the cafe, I quickly spotted her, she sat at a corner, by the celling to floor window with their cafe logo. Looking outside at the people walking by in the busy street. I slowly made my way toward her.

She turned to face me, when she heard my footsteps approach and stop before her.

...........

Soon I was sitting and chatting with her, I have to admit she was beautiful. With her golden brown hair and emeralds green eyes, with her over all dark yellow coat, she looked beautiful with her yellow windbreaker. I pulled my dark coat closer to my body.

We are In the winter season, though the first snow hasn't fallen yet, it didn't stop everyone from being cold.

"So spill, what's the reason you invited me for lunch?" I asked looking straight at her across the table. She seemed a little happy.

As I asked, a wide smile bloomed on her face.

" I got great news" she announced, adjusting in her seat.

" I found a company offering to pay big money for your stories ". She said excitedly.

I was a little stunned. Me? Seriously? That was one of the best news I have heard so far.

" so....how's it going? are you hearing from them?". I asked eager to learn more of this new opportunity.
