The Vision Pt. II

Leo stood on the other side of the training grounds and smiled at me. "I'm not gonna be holding back, Claudio."

I stretched and chuckled then my markings shined. "Right, I won't either."

"A training session between Leo and Claudio. Is the Princess watching?" Madris asked.

Detre looked up and noticed Cecilia watching the sparring match with Astar on the balcony. She smiled and looked back at me and Leo. "Yeah. She is."

I dashed toward Leo and went for the first strike, but he dodged it then dodged my kick. I dodged his counter strike then went for the sweep kick. Leo stopped my leg then smirked. I got up and walked backwards. I smirked and white lightning crackled around my hand.

Leo looked at my hand then braced himself. "Come at me."

I got into my stance then rushed forward then spun around, hurling a Light Blast at Leo at high speeds. He dodged the Light Blast then noticed it curved around. He tried to dodge it but time slowed down. I struck Leo, knocking him into the Light Blast.

Time resumed and everyone noticed the explosion. The smoke cloud cleared and Leo's silhouette was shown. I noticed a black wing had protected Leo and took a step back.

"A black wing?" I asked and noticed a symbol glowing on his left shoulder.

"I told you I wasn't holding back anymore." Leo said and smiled.

I stared at Leo then looked at Dearie. She stared at Leo and scanned him. She beeped and sent me the information she knew about Leo.

[Angel: Omega Faction]

[Class: Joker]

[VIP: 20]

[System: Wonderland]

"Wonderland? Wait Leo is an Omega Faction Angel? I have so many questions right now." I said.

Leo looked at me. "I am an Angel. A descendant of the Angel counterpart of Mammon, Noma. I am a Joker Class Angel due to my unpredictability."

"Explain Wonderland then. I thought Wonderland was an entirely different dimension." I said.

"Under other circumstances, if you had found out about this under any other means...Arabella would've had to kill you." Leo said.

'Why are you using me to tell him about Wonderland..?!' Leo thought to Omega.

"Because you're his father, and he'll listen to you more than anyone else." Omega said.

Leo sighed and grabbed his mask. "Wonderland is a System. The first Dearie System. It is a System that has the power to open a rift leading to Wonderland."

Addis sat up and rose an eyebrow. "What..?"

"The Darling that controls the System Wonderland is named Darling: Alice, but there are multiple Darlings with that Codename. Arabella is one of them. She is what Luke calls, an Alice Unit." Leo said then put on his mask.

"Astar is also...an Alice Unit. Everleigh is an Alice Unit. Tempest is an Alice Unit." Leo said then he spread his wings open and black wings rushed around the area.

"Your mother is the Alice that controls it all...you can't stop the System, Son! You're too weak!" Luke laughed as he appeared in front of me.

I grunted as I noticed I was back on the highway staring at Luke. I grunted and looked at the wreck and noticed my mother dead in the car.

"Everything leads back to me...Claudio. However you aren't strong enough to defeat me!" Luke laughed loudly.

I growled and yelled. "SHUT UP!"

I propelled myself toward Luke and clashed with him. Each clash felt like the same from last time. I yelled and struck his face, knocking him away and flew after him. Luke laughed and flew toward me.

"That's it son! Show your father that rage!" Luke laughed.

I pressed a Wrath Boosted Light Blast against his chest, launching him upwards then flew toward him. Luke countered my strike then knocked me down toward the ground. I stopped myself from hitting the ground then grunted as I was floating in darkness.

"You'll never be enough to save your mother!" Luke taunted.

The Serpent appeared around me and began to wrap around my body and squeeze me. I grunted as I was forced to look at the wreck. I struggled to break out and just stared at the wreck.

"Let him go." A voice said.

Luke looked around then looked up and saw Mihr in the air. He grinned and chuckled. Mihr flew toward Luke and struck his face then made him let me go. I was free from the serpent for now, but I knew he'd be back...

I woke up from my bittersweet dream then sat up on my bed. Dearie was checking up on me and made me look at her. I smiled at her and nodded, letting her know I was okay. She smiled back and flew backwards.

I got out of bed to get ready for the day. I had a lot of questions, but I knew I wouldn't get any direct answers. However, I slowly become accustomed to my role. I know what I have to do to save everyone, but I know I'm not strong enough on my own.

Cecilia noticed me walking down the hall as she was headed somewhere then smiled at me. "Good morning, Sir Claudio~"

I looked at Cecilia and smiled at her. "Good morning, Princess..~"

Cecilia walked toward me. "I had a lot of fun yesterday. Your duel and the festival, I'm glad to have you here while I can."

I looked at Cecilia and gently held her hip, pulling her toward me. "It's my pleasure to be here..~"

[Cecilia's Trust Increased.]

Cecilia blushed and stared into my eyes as I placed her against the wall. "Such indecency...but my body got so hot when you did that..."

"Yeah..?~" I whispered then brushed my lips against her neck.

"Ahhh...n-not here..." Cecilia whispered, holding back her moans.

We heard someone clear their throat. We looked over and noticed Madris. I smirked and let go of Cecilia then backed off.

Madris walked toward me and gripped my shirt. "Listen here, Casanova...you might've gotten in between Astar's legs easily, but I'm not letting you fuck the Princess you dirty animal."

I looked at Madris and saw the jealousy in her eyes. Dearie smiled and watched.

[This is how it's supposed to get like. This is how we build natural love.]

'Or she just hates me, but I got this..' I thought.

I gently took Madris's hand then kissed it gently. "Sorry..~ I shouldn't have stepped out of line.."

[Madris's Trust Increased.]

"You— Tch! Let's go Princess!" Madris said then walked off.

Cecilia smiled as Madris walked off then looked at me. "Bye..~"

"Bye.." I said and smiled at Cecilia.

I watched her walk away then made my way outside then took a deep breath and exhaled. Dearie knew I had something on my mind and rested on my shoulder.

"You really want me to speak on it huh?" I asked.

"Yes." Dearie said.

"Can I ask you something..? What exactly is a Dearie System?" I asked.

Dearie looked at me and sat up, surprised that I asked about the Dearie System. "Why do you want to know?"

I stared at the sky and thought about my dream. It was 100% a vision I needed to see. "My dream spoke about the Dearie System and Alice Units. Be honest with me...do you have any data regarding my mom being a Darling?"

"It's Top Secret information. Access to that form of data is forbidden on all counts. Access to such data could result in me automatically self destructing." Dearie said.

"I need to know...I can ask Leo." I said.

"Right." Dearie said.

I found Leo in the training grounds. Addis had just walked to the sidelines to rest. Madris made her way toward Detre and everything was playing out just like my dream.

"Deja Vu." I said and walked forward.

Leo noticed me and smiled. "Ahh, Claudio. Nice of you to join us."

"I want to ask you a few things." I said.

"Like?" Leo asked.

"It's something that needs to spoken of in private." I said.

Leo crossed his arms and looked at me and knew I was serious. He smiled and lowered his arms. "If you can defeat me in a sparring match, I'll answer all the questions you have."

"I accept." I said and took off my jacket.

Everyone watched us, everything was playing out just like my dream. I grunted softly, holding my head. The memory of the wreck flashed in my head.

Verin stared at me and watched closely. 'What's wrong with him..?'

"Stay strong, Claudio." Dearie said.

I opened my eyes and looked at Leo. He looked at me as well and remembered the day of the crash. He just stared at me as I stared at him.

"It's tense." Aria said.

"Yeah..." Addis said.

I got into my stance then propelled myself toward him. He parried my strike then dodged my next strike. He blocked and dodged each strike. There was still a wall he saw within me from truly recognizing him. A wall that I set up.

"Fight back!" I bellowed and palmed his stomach, knocking him back.

Leo grunted softly as he felt that attack. He chuckled softly and looked at me. "That was a good one."

"C'mon, Dad. Let's see them old bones work!" I bantered as I dashed toward him.

Leo smirked and caught my first. "Alright, Son."

Leo struck my stomach and it hurt like hell. He struck my stomach with his knee then followed it with a roundhouse kick into a back kick. I grunted as I rolled backwards. I recovered, sliding backwards on one knee. Everyone was silent as they watched our sparring match.

Cecilia watched me closely with Astra and gently bit her nail. Astra noticed how worried Cecilia was and watched the fight.

I stood up and smiled then looked at Dearie. "You ready?"

"Always." Dearie said.

I dashed toward Leo and Dearie flew behind me quickly. She zipped past Leo then fired a Laser Blast at him. Leo dodged it then looked at me. I slowed down time then struck his body. Time resumed and Leo stumbled backwards.

Leo nodded and smirked. He closed his eyes then opened them. "Come."

I ran toward Leo and slowed down time then went for an attack. I grunted as he managed to dodge me. Time resumed then Leo swiftly launched an attack at me. I barely dodged the attack then went for a counter. He dodged my counter then feinted his attack.

Dearie swooped in with blades of like then vanished. Leo's eyes shined faintly then he dodged each one of Dearie's invisible attacks. Dearie flew backwards toward me and looked at Leo in disbelief.

"He dodged my Mirage Barrage.." Dearie said.

"You know, Claudio. I'm proud of you and what you've become...however I don't feel that same willpower that you're widely known for. It's great that you're growing your Savior powers...but you as yourself have grown weak." Leo said.

"What?" I asked.

"Someone has to say it. That same willpower you showed at Woodcrest doesn't exist and that's why you've reached your base potential. Until you beat that demon that holds you, you'll never be enough." Leo said.

I grunted as my heart thumped. "Why is he talking like this...?"

"You'll never be able to save anyone but Daisy. Everyone you know and love including yourself will die because of you." Leo said.

"That's not true and you know it!" I said.

"Really? Is that the truth or is it a false reality you want to be true? The man I'm looking at isn't the man that has it all to save even yourself." Leo said.

"Shut up.." I angrily muttered.

"Stop holding back son and just explode already! Everyone's waiting for it! You need to tell us what's going on! Explode!" Leo yelled.

"Yeah! Explode Claudio! Let us know your pains!" Eve yelled out.

"Yeah, let that beast free that's within. A Savior can not bear any untamed lion within." Verin said.

"Explode!" Aria yelled.

I held my head and the different memories began pouring into my head. I grunted as my head began throbbing heavily. I panted and gripped my hair.

"You'll never become free from my grasp. I OWN you. You belong to ME! I will make you remember that day over and over again...to let you know it's all your fault." Luke said.

'My fault..?'

"No amount of visions or memories can help you escape the false reality you've built...All of this started because of you son..." Luke laughed.

Leo noticed noticed dark aura forming around me. Addis grunted as he felt his heart thumping. Leo looked at Addis and his eyes widened.

"They are connected via Willpower...What is happening to my son..?" Leo asked softly then walked forward.

"Don't touch him!" Addis yelled. "He's too far gone right now. He is seeing...Alpha's Vision."

Leo looked at me and noticed a faint silver glow around my dark aura. 'Mihr...'

I looked at my younger self curiously wandering around my mom's room as she's at work. I followed him and noticed he found a device with a document. My younger self looked at the device and set it on the bed. I watched as he sat on the bed.

"Report: Darling Alice Angels; #C0-1Z. Day 10: She's been acting strange after the death of Roy. She doesn't talk or anything. I'll give her a few days to get back into the groove of things. After all, she's mine." He read.

"What's the hell. What is a Darling and who is this guy..? What the fuck is he doing to my mom..?" He said.

I wanted to say something, but I couldn't. I just had to watch.

"Day 15: Project Wonderland is coming greatly. Thanks to the Wonder Star, Alice has been working more efficiently. This new system will change the world forever." He read.

I noticed a slip of paper fall out the folder. My younger self noticed it as well then picked it up. He opened the paper and his eyes widened. It was a distress letter written by my mom. She had been planning to run away for a while.

He looked at the device and clicked the button on the device. The wall rumbled and behind him was an opening to a secret room. He got up and wandered into the room. I followed behind then suddenly everything shifted to my point of view.

'No...'

I was forced to take a step forward. The lights came on one by one as I walked closer to the destination.

'Stop, this is a false narrative..! I didn't do anything!'

I kept walking forward, feeling the aching in my stomach growing worse and worse. I was ready to shed tears. I made it to the final step then noticed my mother sitting lifeless in the chair.

"Your mother...Alice, was long dead due to her excessive Wonder Energy production. She was so perfect...that I had to clone her, but that stupid clone died in that crash. You see, I wasn't targeting Alice...I was trying to truly kill you." Luke said with a soft chuckle.

I stared at my mother's body and my entire body began aching. I walked toward her and touched her cold body. "Mama..."

I grunted softly and held her lifeless hands then closed my eyes. I leaned forward and leaned against her. I softly sobbed on her.

"Curiosity killed the cat as they always say, but this cat luckily has nine lives.." Luke said and glared at me.

We appeared back at the wreck and I stared at the ground. I balled my hands into fists. Luke chuckled softly as he is watched me. I slowly held my head then gripped my hair. I yelled loudly and Luke laughed as he noticed Seraph Energy being emitted from my body.

I fell to my knees and all the memories of my mother flashed in my eyes then the vision of my dead mother appeared in my head. "Everything...was a lie..?"

"Was it a lie if it felt real? Everything has been your fault. Now that you see the truth, what will you do..?" Luke asked.

I stood up slowly and turned around. I looked at Luke and my eyes shined brightly. "Sure everything was a lie...but I know the truth about something, you are the villain! You're the one who killed Mom! I won't let you get away with that!"

Luke grunted as he felt my ever growing power. 'What is this..?'

"I refuse to be blamed for this! I refuse! You killed her you sick bastard!" I bellowed and growled with anger. I could feel the burning sensation on my left arm.

"I swear in Lilith's name...and I swear in Nexus's name that I WILL kill you. I'll kill you with my barehands and destroy whatever System Wonderland is!" I yelled.

Luke laughed and watched me. "Let's see it..."

"After everything you've done...After all the lies, after you ruin my life...You dare say it's my fault. You dare..?" I said then my silver aura surrounded my body.

'This power...' Luke said.

"How dare you?!" I bellowed and my aura surged powerfully then I propelled myself toward Luke.

Addis grunted as he felt my presence then watched my dark aura fuse with my silver aura. He rose an eyebrow then noticed Lilith's Symbol flashing on my back. I bellowed and my broke out of Luke's hold.

I panted and my aura disappeared then my Wrath Symbol stopped shining. I fell to my knees exhausted. "I did it.."

Astra watched me then smiled. "He won the battle for now...I felt it. That Willpower.."

"I did too.." Cecilia said.

"That didn't play out at all...but at least I learned something new...My current mother is a clone. What do I do then..? She's obviously still alive..." I said softly.

Leo talked toward me and held his hand out. "C'mon, son. You had some questions..?"

I looked up at Leo then took his hand. "Yeah... Let's.go..."
